** Lakefront Home With All The Ammenities For A Relaxing Getaway!**

The 2 story house was renovated from a lake front cottage in the late 90's, and has recently been updated to provide you with a comfortable place to spend your vacation time. Listen to the Loon's call back and forth wile sitting on the porch enjoying your favorite book or beverage. Or kick off your shoes and enjoy what Unity Pond has to offer! Canoeing, Kayaking, Fishing and Swimming. Bring your boat along for Tubing and Water skiing! The boat launch is just a couple hundred yards down the road.
Kamp K will accommodate 6 people. Bedrooms on the second floor are set up with a queen in one room, and a larger bedroom with two queen beds and a twin. A small den on the first floor has a futon/bunk bed (twin over full).
The first floor bathroom has a fiberglass stall shower, and is where the washer and dryer are located. The second floor bath has a full size tub/shower.
The kitchen is complete with side by side fridge, electric range, microwave oven, and dishwasher (spend more time on the lake instead of washing dishes by hand).
You can still be in contact with the outside world with wireless internet access, and satellite TV on the 50" flat screen.
Once you've enjoyed a stay at Kamp K, you'll want to return every year!

Every thing was well appointed and thoughtfully done to ensure a fabulous family friendly fun stay! I couldn’t keep the kids out of the water and off the dock, it was perfect rustic with amenities stay!!

Nice stay!

Great stay! I only gave the location and neighborhood a 4 and not a 5 because there is pretty literally nothing to do close by other than enjoy the beautiful property and pond.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront home! From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel incredibly welcome. The house itself had absolutely everything you could want for a relaxing getaway: comfy living spaces, a fully stocked kitchen, and so many extras for enjoying the lake. We loved having access to floats, a kayak, life vests, and the grill, plus the stunning waterfront view right from the property. The dock and floating dock were perfect for swimming, fishing, or just soaking up the sun.Thank you so much for all your help and for making our time here so special. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Great spot on Unity Pond! We loved the large firepit and adirondack chairs! Plenty of sleeping space and two bathrooms both with showers. A bit of a traffic zone with cars going by to the boat ramp.

Another perfect week.

This was our 4th time at Kamp K. It's such a beautiful spot; quiet and peaceful. My wife and I go for the first of the week, then put 2 sons come up for the last few days. For our family - this home has it all!

Lakefront for swimming, jumping off the dock, dogs allowed , boating ( rented motor boat from Maine Boat Rental and launch was just down from the property), canoeing and kayaking to the islands around Unity Pond - caught 6 types of fish, tubing, waterskiing, wakeboarding - that's just the lake - the picnic bench and fire pit all showcase the lake and the porch allows for a cup of coffee to take in the beauty of the lake, listen to the loons and watch the resident bald eagle fly by. Really amazing location! Owners were outstanding!

We love Camp K!!

We had the best time at camp K. The house was so clean and cozy. Fully stocked with everything you need. The views from the bedrooms and livingroom/kitchen are amazing. The owner is friendly and really easy to work with. We didn't want to leave! Thank you for having us, we would love ro come back!

Can't say enough good things

Wow, did we need this stay at Kamp K! From the first communications with David to the last, we felt welcomed and cared for. We loved meeting David & Linda personally and sincerely appreciated their recommendations for local attractions. Most of all, the home has a warm vibe that had us instantly feeling at home--and the fantastic view of and access to the lake just added to our enjoyment! Will absolutely be back to stay again!

Second visit

This was our second time in this lovely house, and hopefully we’ll have the chance to stay here again. The home is very close to the water, there are kayaks and a canoe that can be used to explore the lake (hint: take a kayak under the train trestle NW of the house, and follow some of the waterways), and the hosts have provided everything you could need. There are two full bathrooms (one with a washer and dryer), two bedrooms (one with three beds), plus a bunk bed in the small downstairs office. This year we again saw adult and fledgling bald eagles, and spectacular sunrises from in front of the house. Unity is a small town, but there are stores that have everything you need for a week’s stay. Waterville is only about 20 minutes away, and Bangor about 40, if you want to do short trips to larger communities. We have vacationed in various places in Maine for the last 15 years, and this is easily one of our favorites.

Relaxing lakeside getaway

Though our visit coincided with a heat wave and warm bedrooms a couple of nights, the overall experience was great. The description is accurate but don't miss the bald eagle that might pass right over the dock. The town and surrounding area has some nice things to offer, like a weekend scenic train and an Amish charcuterie.

Kamp K was beautiful, better than expected.

We were extremely happy with our stay at Kamp K. The Kamp was beautiful, clean and comfortable, David was an excellent host, there when you need him and not when you don’t. Sunsets on Unity pond are incredible and waking up to that view and Maine fresh air is good for the body and soul. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing Kamp K with us.
