Start your day with a decadent coffee drink made on our top-of-the-line Breville and Jura espresso machines (or stroll 10 minutes down the road to Starbucks), then head out to take advantage of the many outdoor sports and activities in this incredible area. You might also take a day off and enjoy the many indoor and outdoor entertainment options on the estate itself. A game of bocce ball, horseshoes, or a good old-fashioned bean bag toss will bring the family together for wholesome fun in the fresh air, or you can cozy up inside, where our dozen+ board games, shuffleboard table, dartboard, or a good movie will keep everyone entertained.

But perhaps the greatest viewing pleasure here is watching the sun go down over the breath-taking landscape from one of our many picture windows or outdoor patios. The property boasts unobstructed sunrise and sunset views and looks out over all the surrounding countryside, including Buffalo Mountain, Breckenridge Ski Resort, Lake Dillon Dam, Ptarmigan Peak and more.

THE SPACE

Bedrooms: The master offers soaring ceilings, a cozy seating area, walk-in closet, ensuite bathroom, and a comfy window seat under the picture window framing the peak opposite. Two king-size guest rooms are more like additional masters, one with sliding doors to its own patio and the other with stunning southern views. The 2nd floor back bedroom is like a house-within-a-house, providing king-size bunk beds, and breakfast seating, and a separate entrance. And on the 3rd floor, the sleeping loft is all ready for cozy slumber parties under the sloping beams, with two twinkle beds. Every bedroom has its own TV.

Bathrooms: Our 4 pristine bathrooms will comfortably accommodate your whole group, and all are equipped with hair dryers and abundant towels, including extra sets for all guests. You’ll find a steam shower, tub with jets, and double sink in the spacious master bath.

Kitchen: Granite countertops and new stainless steel appliances combine with warm wood and tile to complete the cozy, inviting feel of this full, updated kitchen. We’ve endeavored to outfit it with every convenience for cooking and entertaining: air fryer, slow cooker, Instant Pot, blenders, Kitchenaid mixer, Breville Oracle Touch top of the line espresso and cappuccino maker, Jura espresso making machine, regular coffee maker, toaster, all standard cooking and serving tools, plus lots of extras.

Two reverse-osmosis (RO) systems offer a 7 stage state-of-the-art water filtration through a two-step process that first purifies the water, then adds back in the good minerals that make the water optimally healthy. An additional full-house carbon and particles water filter delivers clean, healthy water on every faucet in the house.

If you are two families and want to be close but not always too close, this house is ideal: one interior door in the second floor connects with a different area (included in the count of bedrooms and bathrooms) that includes its own kitchen (microwave oven, fridge, sink and RO water system), bathroom, two independent entries to the garage and outdoors, a patio, two rooms (one with two king size beds in bunk and another with the arcade plus a pull-out sofa opening to a queen bed), 2 65” TVs and dinning table for 4.

Dining: Enjoy a plethora of dining options. Gather in our formal dining room that seats 12 in comfort (occupancy is limited to 8 by County), enclosed by two walls of windows that ensure everyone gets a mountain view; eat casually at the bar around the kitchen; or dine surrounded by the great outdoors at our table for 8. You can also sit down for a cup of coffee on the upstairs patio.

A new outdoors built-in kitchen offers a top of the line Alfresco Pizza Oven and an Alfresco grill with rotisserie and searing station reaching above 1,000 F. You will be making your own pizzas right at home. At check-in you will find a complimentary set of special 00 Italian pizza flour and yeast. The use of a Kitchen-aid mixer, rolling pin, pizza stone, serving tray and a simple yet delicious recipe to get you started. Add the toppings of your choice (not included) and compete for the most delicious! Neapolitan pizzas ready in 4 minutes!

Living space: In the main room, thick carpet and a stone-framed gas fireplace create cozy comfort, as multi-story windows frame the majesty of the surrounding mountain scenery. Stream your music on our Sonos speakers to set the mood and then gather your whole crew in our ample and comfortable seating. On the 2nd floor, a snug den offers large couches and framed ski/trail maps for planning your excursions.

AMENITIES

7 HD large-screen TVs (one in each room) with Xfinity X1 provide thousands of movies and TV shows free. 3 of the TV sets are 65” OLED 4K HD smart TVs. Netflix and Prime are available, and PPV (pay per view) content is available at cost. Sonos speakers deliver great sound. And high-speed internet means you can also entertain yourself on your own devices. No need to bring your laptop if you don’t want to, though: we have an HP PC available for guests.

We also provide sleds, fly fishing poles and lures for your outdoor excursions, plus backpacks with water bottles ready, and a ski/board repair bench with tools and supplies.

The house is equipped with built-in USB adaptors, screens on every opening window, room humidifiers, and ceiling fans. For families with little ones, we offer a Pack & Play with mattress, high chair, and stool to reach the sink.

LOCATION

Despite being on top of the world and enjoying the privacy of a full acre, the chalet is only one mile to the core of Silverthorne's shopping, outlets and dining district, and within 10 minutes of world-class hiking, skiing, fishing, snowmobiling and more.

Nearby resorts include A Basin, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Loveland, and Vail. Walk 10 minutes to outstanding fly fishing on the Blue River, and explore incredible hiking (including the famous “14ers” trails), minutes from your door.

Just 60 minutes from downtown Denver.

GOOD TO KNOW

Winter guests will be better off with vehicles with 4WD, AWD and winter tires. It is a requirement on I70 by the State, or chains.

We have a backup emergency full-house power generator that turns on automatically should the power fail. In 3 years, we’ve had power disruptions just twice, lasting less than 10 minutes each. The generator can power the house for a full week without refilling the propane tank.

Cellular reception on ATT and Verizon are excellent (we don't yet have info on other carriers, sorry!). We provide all bed and bathroom linen, plus extras. Internet speed throughout is 1GB.

Approved breeds of dogs (not drooling) and cats: up to two are accepted with a pet fee of $200 per pet, as extra cleaning is needed to keep the place pristine.

5 bedrooms with 5 king size beds (one bedroom has two, in bunk). 1 bedroom with 3 twin beds, one converts to king. 4 bathrooms. A total of 9 individual beds gives you a wide choice for the 8 allowed guests by occupancy limit.
