Nothing like sitting on a patio with the most glorious views of the caldera. I agree with all the other stellar reviews but also wish to point out that this apartment is at the top (where there are hordes of people lining up for the photos) of the caldera cave homes. I walked down to the bottom on our last day and saw some cute places but was glad we didnā€™t have to walk up and down every time we went out, let alone with luggage at the beginning and end. You canā€™t tell that when you look online. This one couldnā€™t be better situated! Perfection!

25th Wedding Anniversary

Evmenia Luxury Villa was spectacular. What a beautiful peaceful place to wake up to in the morning. Difficult to go to bed at night with such a beautiful view and peaceful ambiance on the patio at night. George was great by arranging for our transfer and meeting us to be sure we were settled and knew any places to go while we were on Santorini. A lovely bottle of wine we enjoyed in the evening while looking over the caldera! All we can say is thank you for sharing such a beautiful home.

6 days at Evmenia

A perfect 6 days. George and Styliani were very helpful by greeting us upon arrival and helping us to understand how to navigate a stay in Santorini. The villa was exactly like it was described on VRBO with everything we needed for our stay. The best part was the spectacular views from the terrace of the sea and the islands off the coast. Walk through the gate to unobstructed views

Once you walk through that gate with all the people crowded around to take turns grabbing pics of the famous Santorini views, you will have a 180 unobstructed view all to yourself. It's perfection! Amazing location

The apartment was clean and lovely. We were met by George who was kind to answer any questions we had. The location is lovely, but for that reason, there is limited privacy on the balcony. The a/c worked well. The master only has a bathtub, so you will need to be comfortable and physically capable of sitting in the tub to wash yourself. Would recommend highly!

Fantastic!!

The views and location canā€™t be beat! It offers one of the most iconic views of Santorini. Very well located, close to everything and not too many steps which was important with my elderly mother traveling with us. The home was very clean and very well supplied. There is even housekeeping service every other day. We would definitely stay here again.

The view was breathtaking

The property is spectacular. That being said, There are a couple things that the renter should know. First the second bedroom does NOT have a door. We had 2 couples and it was a bit awkward as far as privacy. The second bathroom is off the kitchen. Again abut awkward. Secondly, this is an extremely popular place to be photographed. The are people all over the property in all hours of the day and night. Often they were blocking the entrance to the property and were often perturbed when we asked to pass by. They often left garbage by the entryway. One morning there were people lined up by 6 am. I actually asked them if they wanted coffee while waiting for the Sun to come up. The place was very clean and all the appliances worked well.

Romantic Trip to Oia

Myself, my spouse, and another couple split the villa. The property is gorgeous, and George is an excellent and responsive host with fantastic recommendations. Make sure to rely on his recommendations for transportation and dining. The view from the patio is the best on the island, and the location in Oia cannot be beat. You are as close as possible to shopping, restaurants, and bars while still be tucked away. The only point of caution is that because the location is so good, there will be tourists at sunset near the villa trying to take pictures! We hope to come back!

Everything was perfect. George, the owner was such a help with meeting us, giving information on the island- how to get around, etc. Little things that can make a vacation easier. The place was in the perfect location. Clean, welcoming. If I ever get back to Santorini, here is where I want to stay.

A ā€œWowā€ Location & View

The caldera view is absolutely beautiful. We would wake early each day just to drink a cup of coffee on the terrace. I believe we spent more waking hours outside than inside. The house was also located in the center of the shopping and restaurant area. There is a small terrace above the house where many wedding photos are takenā€”thatā€™s part of being in the city center with a gorgeous view. The photos did not disrupt our stay. George, the property owner, met us when we arrived, despite our late flight. He showed us the property, answered questions and showed us points of interest on a map. He also had our frig stocked with a few essentials and a bottle of wine. The house was immaculate and a cleaning service came every other day. We loved the coffee machine and our cute kitchen too. The beds were comfortable and our son slept on the day bed in the living area. We used the washing machine and hung out our clothes on a clothesline tucked in a corner of the terrace. We would return to this house and we hope we can! We will never forget that view!

A dream come true.

My husband and I had never used HomeAway or VRBO or even Air B&B before so this was a bit risky for us. We didn't know if we believed the photos of this place and even though the owner was very responsive to our emails, we still weren't sure. Now, after 7 AMAZING days in this luxurious Evmenia villa, I am telling you... BELIEVE IT! The villa is modern, clean, full of luxuries and amenities. If you are celebrating something special (we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary) the owner can arrange for a private chef to come to the villa and cook your fantastic Greek meal and serve it right on the deck overlooking the blue dome and caldera. It's all home made, grown locally - the best farm to table meal we've ever had. The villa is just steps away from the old part of Oia where there are many restaurants to choose from, lots of shopping and the nightly sunset. There is help for you to transport your luggage from the drop off point to the villa which is about a 3 minute walk. Oia is all pedestrian traffic. We also found that the local market was just right to purchase water, wine, coffee, cheese, fruit, crackers etc. and don't miss the Greek yogurt with honey, fruits and nuts from Tripsy's Tavern just around the corner. The owner - George and his wife Stellina could not be more accommodating and kind. They will make your stay is a dream come true. The villa is George's family home and he has taken great care to maintain it, update it and modernize it. High ceilings, white walls, gray accents and a wide open feel make the home cool, bright, breezy and beautiful. You'll be stunned by the view and if you are like us, you will pinch yourself every day just to remind yourself that your not dreaming. This is the real deal. Truly spectacular! If there are any drawbacks they are that the house is so perfectly situated that the path above it and along side it are SOME OF THE MOST tourist heavy spots in Oia. The deck and house itself are very private, but you can hear cameras clicking all day long and once in a great while you'll get a tourist from one of the cruise ships jumping over the wall to get a photo in front of the church dome. The only other drawback is the lack of shelves and closet space for clothes. Our advice would be to not bring much and plan on doing a load of laundry and hanging it to dry on the line - you will get crisp, fresh smelling clothes in just a few minutes. Really live in Greece and immerse yourself in it.

This people are really wonderful

Me and my family stayed at Evmenia Luxury Villa. It's a remodeled old cave, that gave us the feeling of how the houses where there back in the days. George and Stellani, are WONDERFUL hosts. Ready to help and obviously knowledgeable of the amenities in Santorini. The property is in excellent conditions and you might find everything you might be looking in a Villa in Santorini. Two things I would improve. First, I think that it might had helped if we might have had some drawers or shelves, so we could unpack our stuff. They have two wonderful closets in the master bed room, but that's just for the hanging stuff, which in Santorini, is not much cause it calls for shorts and sweaters (which I don't hang). The other thing is that if you are over 6'1" you got to be careful when you are passing from the family room to the master. I hit my head several times with the door entry... The other downside of the experience were the lack of privacy... But that isn't exclusive to Evmenia, but applies to all properties in Santorini... There are hundreds of tourist taking pictures . Would I return to Evmenia? In a heart beat. Thanks to George and Stellina for your kindness and willingness to help. You helped us to get lifelong memories... Jro
