The host did a great job! When we arrived the cleaning crew was there. The home was opened up with all doors opened. We did think anything of it, until we started noticing a sewer smell from downstairs. It never went away. The pool table was not a great fit for the room. Missing pool balls…number 12. We went into town to play pool. This was a Christmas gift to my wife and family. Great location and the home was laid out good. Three days with poop in the air was difficult. Thanks for asking

The cabin was clean and spacious. The family loved the pool table and the hot tub but the best part of the cabin was the splendid view. The wrap around decks and the mountain scenery made the stay special.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a wonderful stay! Last minute request was seamlessly honored by the host who was a great communicator. Even better than the pictures, this home has everything you need for a great stay. We enjoyed it all; fire pit, hot tub, pool table, games and puzzles. The beds were super comfy and the water temperature in all the showers got perfectly hot and the water pressure was amazing! Home was super clean and the linens were in great shape. I had internet the entire time to get in some work emails too. Easy paved drive up the mountain. Close to Maggie and Waynesville. We usually try different cabins every year but we will definitely be back to this one!

Winter SkinTrip

My sister and I stayed here with our families for a winter ski vacation. We came in January, and got caught in snow all week! It was gorgeous! The driveway is a little steep, so definitely prepare in freezing/winter conditions! It was so peaceful, convenient to Waynesville and Cattaloochee Ski Slope! Hot tub was a plus! Had issues with trying to watch cable, but there are 2 smart TVs we were able to hook our Switch up to and stream movies while we were snowed in. Definitely recommend for a family getaway!

1st Christmas Vacation

The moment you walk in it's amazing high ceilings, we loved the fire place but my fav spot was sipping coffee and looking at the AMAZING view!! The home has e everything you need for having big family dinners. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and kids roasted marshmallows at the fire. There's many things to do near by we visited Tube World and Soco Falls.

A great week in the mountains

Property was big enough for 2 families- 5 kids ranging from 3-13. The split floor plan allowed for everyone to have the space they wanted while also providing enough space to hang together. Property was easy to get to and had amazing views!

Reviewer Comments: The house was clean, well equipped, on a lot with a long view of the mountains. GraGreat fire pit (however, you have to supply wood or conveniently pay to have some delivered). Hot tub was great, especially on a rainy day. Very quiet porches to relax and read. Good wifi and cell coverage at the house. Only downsides was the long winding drive to stock up when you arrive and enjoy the serenity.

Perfectly beautiful

The cabin was everything I expected and more. The kids had a great time playing pool and roasting marshmallows. The porch view was wonderful, can’t think of a better place to drink my morning. The only thing I would change is checking in, we had to drive 20 minutes to get a code, so 40 minutes out of our way when they could’ve called or texted it to me. I would definitely recommend this cabin it accommodated 2 families of 4 perfectly!

Mountain Cabin getaway

This large house near Maggie Valley and Waynesville was a great choice to host a get together with my parents along with my husband and two boys (7 & 10). I loved that there was a bedroom on the main floor for my parents (my dad has mobility issues), and my family could have the upstairs bedrooms. The pool table and hot tub got some use, and the long porches off the back gave us great views. It's always great to have laundry available, too. Be aware that the road up to the house is pretty curvy - I recommend getting there while it is still light out so you don't get lost! (City folks like us are not used to that kind of road!)

Cabin Review

We enjoyed our stay at the Cabin. After reading the reviews, I expected some of those items to be fixed, but they still linger. The dryer does not work well at all, mattress on queen bed needs to be replaced, and would be nice to have a lock box on the property instead of driving to pick up and drop off the key. Other than that, we loved the place and would stay at the cabin again for sure! Love the area!

Spacious 3 Floor Cabin

It was a central location for our motorcycle daily trips of the area for roads and scenery. Nice to have a fire in the evening for roasting marshmallows....! Certainly lots of deck space for outside enjoyment.

Very nice cabin

We had an awesome time and enjoyed the cabin. Only thing we were disappointed in was the mattresses on the queen and double beds and the pull out coach was horrible.

Thanksgiving get away cabin had disappointments

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although we liked the location and view, there are items in the house that are worn or just not working that should have been addressed or updated prior to our arrival...1. Biggest disappointment was that the gas fireplace did not work and could not be fixed while we were there.2. Overhead lights in family room were not working upon arrival Saturday night. Handyman did come the following Monday to replace burned out bulbs in ceiling fan.3. The dryer setting was basically stripped and it was hit or miss whether we could get heat. Took hours to dry clothes.4. The two Queen bed mattresses need to be replaced-,both beds sagged and you fell to the middle when lying on them. 5. Sheets on all beds kept slipping off - they were worn and cheap.We enjoyed our time in the mountains but will not consider coming back without the above items being upgraded. We did receive an 8% credit, so appreciate the compensation.

Good Cabin For Large Families

The pictures don't do justice to what it looks like in person. We spent 6 days at the cabin and greatly enjoyed time with our family. Only minutes from the interstate but still relatively private. Only complaint was that the fireplace didn't work. We informed the property manager who quickly dispatched a tech to try to repair the gas fireplace but, unfortunately, they weren't able to repair it during our stay. Most people don't realize how close this cabin is to one of the back entrances to Smoky Mountain National Park (less than 30 minutes to view elk and walk on trails). Definitely a good cabin for a large family.
