With the steps down to the water was Awesome. I played in the creek everyday. My husband fished in the creek in front of the cottage. Neighbors were wonderful. We booked it again for November

We loved sitting by the river. The fire pit is a plus. There was also wood available. Even though it was hot, we still built a small fire. it is a small cabin, but it is perfect for two people. There is room for four. House is about five minutes from downtown. This is our third stay at this cabin. A great getaway.

Fall Get-Away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The biggest irritant over our 3 day stay was the smell. The cottage had a very strong musty and urine/sewage type smell. The ceiling fans were somewhat helpful, but when we turned the air conditioner on it made it worse. The filters in the air conditioner need to be cleaned. Because the cottage is small there was not any place to put your luggage, bathroom toiletries, or any food supplies. The large dresser in the main bedroom, might be switched out to a chest with drawers or some type of luggage stand. Should you want to rent this property more I might suggest brainstorming some ideas about the above problems. The furniture was old, but useable. I would consider this a rustic type get-away. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit each evening and watching the river.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my 4th maybe 5th time staying at the Deep Creek Cottage. While very small it has everything you need (except washer and dryer, which would really be nice) comfortable beds, clean, easy access and mostly quiet in the evenings, also very close town.

Great Creekfront Cabin

We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals over the years and I have to say, the hosts here thought of everything. The place is very clean and well equipped. They thought of everything!!!Beautiful, quiet setting. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, down home feel! Great location. Really enjoyed the creek out back with the fire pit. Minutes from downtown Bryson.

Peaceful Getaway

Nice clean little cabin for a weekend getaway. Sitting in a chair by the fire listening to the water running in the creek was very soothing. Location near GSMNP, Bryson City, and Cherokee was convenient for the area attractions.
