Great unity and complex

This unit was perfect for our family and was exactly as promised in the listing. The check-in process was easy and we would definitely return to this unit and complex for future trips.

Would stay again!

The unit we rented was spacious, very clean and on a lovely property with good pools and Duke's restaurant and bar. Walking distance to a grocery store, food trucks and about 30 minute walk one way to Whaler's Village. This unit was perfect for us and we really enjoyed the large lanai with water views.

First time in Hawaii

This property is the perfect vacation spot on Maui, in the middle of everything we wanted to do. The only thing was the dryer wasn't working so we couldn't wash our towels and clothes. KBM did offer to wash our clothes (so we did that at the end of the trip) and gave us a lot of new fresh towels but it was inconvenient when we needed to wear clothes that needed to be washed and dry swim suits..

Aloha! I have always booked directly with resorts and never used a vacation rental company before and needless to say, I was a little concerned on the process, service, and security of it all. After all is said and done, I am extremely satisfied by KBM for the assistance and service throughout the process and the final product and experience of our family vacation. We found a smoking deal, the Hard Hat Special, at the Honua Kai property and booked our vacation. KBM was super fast and responsive with multiple property quotes and multiple date requests while we were planning our vacation. Once we decided on our dates and room, KBM made the rest of the process a breeze. Free rental car and free valet/hotel parking was a nice additional benefit. The room was very nice, well appointed, comfortable and gave our family a very comfortable home base for our stay. The kids and I found the construction project next door to be educational and entertaining. The noise was hardly noticeable with the windows closed. There was obvious noise when the doors and windows were open, but it was hardly disturbing. After all, we were only in the room for meals, rest and sleeping, so the construction was never an issue for us. We are already planning a trip for next year and will be contacting KBM for assistance.

It was truly as advertised

Overall, we were extremely pleased with this unit and the KBM Management. It was truly as advertised. While there is construction next door, nothing could be heard. The unit was exceptionally clean upon check-in and was well stocked with bath and beach towels. The property itself was beautiful, very well-maintained, and had wonderful staff.

We had a great time at Honua Kai- we have stayed there before and knew we would have a good experience. Only negative was the lanai due to construction next door. We were aware of construction- I just didn't think about how much dust there would be on lanai.

I love going thru KBM Resorts, the staff is great to work with

I love going thru KBM Hawaii, the staff is great to work with. The follow up and communication is great and they will go the extra mile to take care of you. It would be in your best interest to follow up with a KBM Hawaii staff to make sure the room as everything it should have. That said; I will still go thru KBM Hawaii, but will make sure it's a quality room that we expect from Honua Kai Property.

The unit was clean, well stocked

Renting this unit with KBM was a great experience! The unit was clean, well stocked and we loved the L'Occitane soaps and lotions. I was a bit worried about the free car rental, but this was also a good experience and a super benefit. We upgraded slightly. The closet had a boogie board, 2 chairs, 2 umbrellas, great sand toys and a cooler (this will need replacement soon). Unit was supplied with 6 high quality beach towels. KBM website and registration was easy and they were very responsive prior to our arrival with reminders to make check-in easy. I would definitely rent with KBM again!

We liked just about everything at KBM Resorts. Communication was excellent if one knew whom to call: hotel, condo, resort or property manager. Lots of brown towels were free for our use at many automated machines. This same machine made it easy to return the towels. There were lots of lounge chairs and pools at Honua Kai. It is right on the beach front. The view ftom our condo was wonderful. Our grandkids loved it. One of the best vacations we ever took.

Great unit at a great resort

We have stayed in many units at the Honua Kai, unit 412 was I. A great quiet location. Unit was stocked with all the necessary kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies, except a broom for the pesky sand trails we sometimes bring. We would for sure consider these property again.

Fantastic Resort

We stayed for 10 days. Dukes at the resort was convenient and great food. The beach was amazing. Nice well kept grounds. Our room had basically 2 master suites. Great view from the balcony. Would definitely stay there again

Great Value with 7+ night stay

This truly was great value 2 bedroom with a car (7+night) stay. Condo had everything needed to cook meals, go to the beach (chairs, towels, cooler, boards), or spend the day at the pool. The Lanai was great you can even hear the waves early morning and later evenings. Some minor complaints: Was told construction was completed yet still heard saws when doors were open, lighting in master bathroom could be better. outside table wasn't clean, and showing some wear. we found hair in shower. We liked the wrist band keys but one broke on our trip, they need to have bigger sizes (small, large and even extra large). We opened the doors one and the AC turned off (which we were told) however we couldn't figure out how to get it turn back on. Items that were out of the Condo owners control - Trash room had an odor but this is not close to the room its down hall. The back elevator broke down the 2 days of our stay. KBM - staff is great, very responsive. The check-in and check out process was very easy. I would recommend this place. The view from the lanai, and convenience to the beach is worth it.

Wonderful Condo!

We really enjoyed our week stay at this condo! Great location, great ocean views from the balcony and living area. Just steps away from Duke' s restaurant and the beach! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Maui!

The property is very clean, beautiful views of the ocean and tons of area's to lounge.

Our overall experience was amazing. Our room was very clean with a special box of Macadamia chocolates just to start out our vacation. The resort was very luxurious and filled with pools all around and Dukes Restaurant on site. Steps from the beach and the ocean and a great location for travel to nearby stores and shops. We were definitely pleased with our stay and look forward to future stays. Thanks for everything, much appreciated.

Beautiful Property and Ocean View

We stayed here with our family over spring break. We were aware of the construction going on next door but it did not effect us much other than making the deck dusty. By 3pm work was done for the day and we would open up the sliding glass door and enjoy the ocean breeze and sunshine. We even some some whales in the ocean from our patio! The room had everything we could need. Was so nice to have a cooler in the room to use for day trips to the beach. Can't wait to come back!

Overall, we were extremely pleased with this unit and the KBM Management. It was truly as advertised. While there is construction next door, nothing could be heard. The unit was exceptionally clean upon check-in and was well stocked with bath and beach towels. The property itself was beautiful, very well-maintained, and had wonderful staff. The only potential negative regarding the unit was very poor bathroom lighting. It also needs a larger hot water tank if 6 people are using the unit. However, even with these comments, I would not hesitate to recommend this unit or KBM Management to other vacationers.
