Welcome to Tipsy Palm Villa, a modern 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom 1200 sq. ft. bungalow located on Ten Bay residential road on the calm Caribbean-facing side of Eleuthera island in The Bahamas. The house is a 2 minute walk to Ten Bay Beach, across the road and via a deeded beach path. The house has a garden view and does not have a water view, as there is a row of houses between Tipsy Palm Villa and Ten Bay Beach.

Tipsy Palm Villa at Ten Bay, is located between GHB (Governor's Harbour Airport) and RSD (Rock Sound Airport), and is a 30 minute drive from either airport. From ELH (North Eleuthera Airport), Ten Bay is a 1 hour and 20 minute manageable and scenic drive, with many shops and sites along the way.

Please note that the house is on cistern water. Please conserve water where possible and purchase water for drinking.
Please also note that the house does not have a generator, and therefore any power outages will temporarily impact the wifi and the water pump (water and plumbing will not work while the power is out).

Perfect home for our visit to Eleuthera!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is in excellent condition and has all the amenities of home (washer and dryer, dishwasher, A/C) while being in a quiet location next to one of the nicest beaches on the island. We will definitely stay again the next time we visit Eleuthera.

Best home ever!

This is our BEST rental stay in Eleuthera. The location was superb, just a hop skip and a jump from the best beach, Ten Bay. The caretaker Ms. Terry is amazing.

Amazing home with everything you need for a young family

The home was spacious and luxurious and fully stocked with equipment for the kids to enjoy our adventurous time on the island. Perfect location. Great entertainment options on the TV. And great hosts!

First time to the island & ten bay beach! Totally enjoyed the house, & its amenities. Everything about it was top notch, and overall a very pleasant place to stay. The beach couldn't be better! Perfect for safe swimming. We have a great vacation!!

Great Getaway location!

Very clean, would definitely recommend! A great location near Ten Bay, which is often empty. If you like tranquility and being away from the hustle, dont hesitate to book. Definitely have this property saved for our next visit to Eleuthera! Thanks again for hosting us, and making it enjoyable!

Very nice accommodations

Good location for getting to ten bay beach. The house is well stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, floaties, and a beach wagon if you need to bring everything. The house is well appointed with ample cooking equipment, a grill, and great air conditioning. There was a scheduled power outage and we were surprised when the generator kicked in. The house is about a 15 minute drive to Governors Harbor, and about a five minute drive to Savannah Sound.

Modern House in Superb Location

A Luxurious Holiday Home in every way. The level of equipment provided, the comfort of the beds / furniture and the excellent appliances made this a very enjoyable stay. Being just a short walk from the Ten Bay Beach ( one of the best on the island ) was amazing - we went swimming every day. The road leading to the property was pretty rough in parts but this we discovered was not unusual on the island once you turn off the main road! If you want to be away from resorts and have peace and tranquility this property is highly recommended and is well worth the extra driving to get to.

The Perfect Vacation

This was our second time to Eleuthera. Last year we stayed further north and this year we wanted to stay further south so we could explore the central and southern part of the island. Tipsy Palm was the perfect location for that. The house was spotless when we arrived and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was well stocked. We are beach lovers also so we especially appreciated the beach wagon. It made lugging around all of our beach supplies for the day so much easier!. The house is a short walk to Ten Bay beach, which is one of our favorites on the island. We will definitely stay at Tipsy Palm Villa on our next trip to Eleuthera!

Absolutely fantastic!

Wow! Muriel’s home is beautiful and has all the comforts you could wish for! Her Island Time Guide was so incredibly helpful that it without a doubt made our first trip to Eleuthera a perfect success! It would have taken us 20 trips to learn all the ins and outs that Muriel gave to us in the guide. Muriel was so responsive to all our zillion questions. She was with us every step of the way as we learned what we needed to know to have a great trip and she now feels like a part of our family. We have already booked a 2 week trip for next year! We can’t thank you enough Muriel for helping us to discover our new vacation spot!!!!

Sehr sauberes Haus, sehr nette Vermieter, super Caretaker, top Einrichtung. Leider ist das Häuschen nicht direkt am Meer gelegen. Das Meer kann man nicht sehen und es hat leider viele Mosquitos.

House with everything!

Tipsy Palm Villa made this vacation even more spectacular! The house is located a very short walk from an amazing beach on the island. The location of the house made it easy to explore the whole island. Communication with owner was great, very quick to respond to emails. Highly recommend Tipsy Palm Villa!!

Exceptional !! Loved it Again, and Hopefully, Again !

This was our second stay at Tipsy Palm. We enjoyed it even more as we were beyond comfortable and enjoyed the familiarity. Muriel is an exceptional host and we hope to come back again. Normally, we would opt for ‘something new’ but there is just something so relaxing and spot on with Tipsy Palm, we will go with familiar over a new experience to come back to Tipsy Palm. I met new people and loved sitting on the edge of the rocks at the top of the hill watching the huge sea turtles swim about. It’s not for everyone but if you’re up for adventure and access and an impeccable rental, this is it !

Pure bliss

Paradise-like location. The house was squeakly clean. Very roomy layout. Host was very responsive. The walk to the beach is short. The ocean there looks like a gigantic infinity pool. Very calm waters and powder-like sandy beach.

Outstanding Vacation

This was our first time to Eleuthera, Muriel gave us all the information we needed to be prepared and Terry was so sweet to welcome us. The beach was incredible and there was plenty of beach items at he rental to make our time even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!!

Wonderful house!

Everything was exactly as described and exactly what we needed. Muriel was incredibly communicative and Terry was so very sweet. Ten Bay is a great beach for littles (and the house is also stocked with so much for the kids!). We were so happy to be back in Eleuthera!

Exceptional ! Looking forward to Staying Again !!

Our Tipsy Palm experience was Exceptional ! Owners were Great to work with, Property Manager was Great - Entire experience was Amazing ! The only reason I gave the Location (4) stars is due to the road conditions from Queens Hwy in . . . rather potholed and bumpy but it is part of the Experience ! The house was so clean and inviting ! Even when the power went out (a common event in Eleuthera), we were comfortable with well stocked flashlights and candles. True, Eleuthera is Not for Everyone but is is most definitely for Us ! And this being our 4th visit to the island, Tipsy Palm is now our favorite place to stay. If I had to find one thing to improve, I was hoping to find a broom to sweep the floors on occasion but maybe I missed it :-) This is an amazing home and provides for a memorable and amazing experience ! Thanks Muriel !!

Tipsy Palm is PERFECT

We had seen this property being built when staying at another property in ten bay. I knew I wanted to stay there when it was finished and, although Covid-19 delayed our travels to Eleuthera, we couldn't have been happier once there. Muriel is AMAZING!! Hands down the best owner and house I have ever worked with. She answered my **MANY** questions about traveling to the island and offered endless guidance arrive what to do while there. She responds within minutes and shares a wealth of information. The house EXCEEDED my already high expectations. This was my fourth trip to the beautiful island of Eleuthera and now I will never stay anywhere else. Tipsy palm is perfectly appointed... The beds are comfortable... And the house is simply lovely. The house has everything you could ever need, including both a Keurig and a traditional coffee pot. Takes less than two minutes to walk to the beautiful ten bay beach. It's essentially just across the street. Thank you Muriel for opening your beautiful home to us. We will be back!

I fell deeply in love with the Eleuthera during my first visit in 2010. I had done a lot of research about Eleuthera, but I was not prepared for the incredible beauty and utter relaxation that I discovered there. Floating around in gorgeous turquoise waters and melting into powdery sand. Breathing the fresh warm Bahamian air. Listening to the sound of calm. This was beauty so profound and unreal that I was in disbelief that such a wonderful place existed. Since that first trip, I found every opportunity to visit the island 2-3 times a year. Finally, the ultimate dream came true in 2018, when we built our little slice of paradise at Ten Bay. Tipsy Palm Villa is named after the palm tree that tips over in front of the house. We are happy to be able to open our house to you and hope that you love Eleuthera as much as we do.
