Villa Mariposa | Just Steps to the Sand!

Villa Mariposa is a beautiful four-bedroom, 4.5 bath townhome conveniently located mid-island, just steps from the beach with excellent side ocean views from the two levels of covered decks. Take a short stroll to Tybee Island Mid beach. You will be about halfway between the pier and North Beach. When you want more than the beach, you will be located 1/2 block from Memorial Park which has 2 lighted tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball court, picnic areas, YMCA/gym, and a public library.

The large three-story Townhome features a two-car garage and a large entry foyer on the ground level. The second level is home to three main bedrooms with a bedroom and private bath, the living space and kitchen on the top (third) floor for maximum views from the deck. The spacious living area is comfortably furnished and has a large flat-screen TV. The dining table seats 6 with three additional seats at the bar in the spectacular kitchen and two additional bar seats at the kitchen island. The kitchen will wow you with its granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and custom cabinetry. There is also a Wetbar with a sink and wine cooler.

The Primary Bedroom has a King bed and 42" flat-screen TV. Adjoining Primary Bath features his and her sinks, vanity, a Jacuzzi tub, and separate shower. The 2nd Primary bedroom, located on the top floor, has a Queen Bed, 32" flat-screen TV, and the adjoining bath features a large walk-in shower. The other King guest bedroom also has a flat-screen TV and a private bath. Finally, the 4th bedroom is perfect for children and is furnished with 2 Queen beds and has an adjoining bath.

Villa Mariposa will offer its guests a truly luxurious atmosphere and a great location to enjoy your Tybee vacation. Off-street/garage parking for up to 4 vehicles. Wireless High-Speed Internet is provided.

MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements vary by property, dates of stay, and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings.

EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property. Tybee family time

The house was perfect for our family. Great location. Elevator for my mom was really nice. Awesome family time with my parents, husband, brothers and their wives.

A perfect view

We had a wonderful spot with gorgeous views and an easy access to the beach. We all loved that we all had a private space/washroom.

Great place, 2 downfalls

We stayed in August of 2020 and had a great time! Right on the beach, plenty of space, big kitchen. The two drawbacks are as I checked the reviews today, the elevator still does not work along with the ice maker. Its a shame the owners or property management have not gotten this fixed!

Beautiful townhome in great location

We had 4 couples and a couple babies on a quick Labor Day get away here. The townhouse was set up perfectly, as everyone had their own bathroom and the living area on the top floor was big and open. The kitchen was huge, which was nice since we brought so much food with us. It is right next to a beach entrance, and we enjoyed people watching when we weren’t on the beach. The nice big garage was a great place for all the sandy beach stuff. Would stay at this townhouse again. It would have been nice if the elevator and wet bar ice machine (which kinda smelled) worked, but other than that everything was in good repair.

Perfect location for a nice week at Tybee!

Overall, the house was nice and 100% met the needs of our family of 8. The layout was very nice and we couldn’t ask for a better location. For the price, I would expect everything to be in working order or available. The elevator was broken, which we were told about 7 days prior. The icemaker and porch screens were off limits/didn’t work and the door locks were extremely tricky. The grill isn’t in very good shape either...definitely could spend $200 and upgrade it. Cleanliness was ok, but the crew didn’t clean the master bathroom well. There were shaving clippings all over the vanity. The house is also for sale and we are in the market, so I may be looking at it with a different lens, but the house needs some basic maintenance that would have made the week more enjoyable and justify the price. Definitely will visit Tybee again. Loved the week!

July 2020 Stay

The property was clean, attractive, spacious, and the location is excellent.  Mere steps from the beach, which is visible from the decks and several windows.  There’s a pretty large vacation condo building (not high-rise) across the street, but it didn’t add noise or make the place seem crowded.  There’s an umbrella and chair rental stand on the beach nearby.    We really enjoyed our visit.  My only complaint is that the elevator was not working when we were there.  I understand these things happen, but the elevator was one of the reasons we selected this property, and its absence made things a little difficult for the octogenarians in our group.  I was bothered by the fact that we were not informed of the elevator issue until we received a phone call when we were already in route.  The timing of the call and the fact that nothing was done during the week we were there makes me wonder about how long the elevator has been non-functional, as well as the intent to get it repaired.

Wedding Party

Large family accommodations. Very nice! Our only issue was our refrigerator wasn’t working. Called and they dropped off one in the garage to help out. Tybee Island was nice but traffic was awful. Law enforcement was excessive. Parking was hard to find wherever you went! I would recommend this house for large groups. Very clean.

Great place to Stay!

This property is amazing we would definitely stay here again!!! Tybee is our home beach and we have stayed in several places by far this was the nicest. The only drawback is no pool and the elevator can be a little tricky. Great view and the beach is close!

Tybee Island

There were 10 of us -all family ranging from a3 month old to a 70 year old. It was a beautiful place and close to the beach. The elevator was especially good because my husband is in a wheelchair and this was fantastic since it was a 3story building.

July 2017 Stay

Very spacious and updated house that works well for extended families (we had 4 adults and 4 kids under 6yo). Although there isn't a dedicated 'kid' room, the walk-in closets work well for younger toddlers that still use pack and plays. An amazing view and short walk to the beach. The beach is a really quiet location, just wish there was a life guard. Huge kitchen- but could use new knives (we cooked all of our meals at the house). Each bedroom has a dedicated bathroom. Beds were okay - we used all the extra blankets provided so next time we'll call for more. Garage fits 3 cars. Nice outdoor shower but wish there was a surround so you can actually take a full shower outside. Huge playground across the street was great for the kids. There was construction across the street at the condo complex, but I assume that will be completed soon- we could hear it but it wasn't a big distraction.

This is our third year visiting Tybee/Savannah area and the homes with your Management Group has been beyond our expectations each time. Last year was the Lighthouse View and this year we had the pleasure to stay at the Villa Mariposa. we will definitely use your services again and will probably refer others to you when traveling to your area. September 2018 Stay

Tybee Island never disappoints us on our trips down south, but this rental property was not so pleasing. The two advertised accommodations we were most looking forward to using, the elevator and the ice maker, were out of order and never attempted to be fixed. With two pregnant women, a 1.5 year old, and a 70 year old as guest the elevator was the one main attractions to booking this house. Also with the kitchen on the top level and hauling bags of ice with no elevator to and from the beach was not ideal considering our group circumstances. A few other things in this house need attention before they break completely for a future guest (queen bathroom sink and shower hose). The upper level porch has a beautiful beach view that we used constantly the whole trip! The short walk to the beach was ideal but littered due to public parking. Overall, the property was mediocre, we will be back to Tybee of course but will just stay in a different home due to broken necessities and complaining neighbors for no reason.

November 2016 Stay

This rental made our vacation go from good to awesome!! The house is beautiful and in a great location, steps from the beach. We stayed in the master and our bed was comfy, though our friends in the other rooms did have some complaints about how much their beds creaked when they moved. The kitchen was huge and great for a group like ours who likes to cook. And the verandas looking out at the ocean were nice and relaxing. Even the first floor entry was spacious, which worked out great as a makeshift massage room when Edie from Coastal Fitness and Wellness came to give us massages after we ran the Rock n Roll Savannah Half Marathon. I'd definitely rent this place again and recommend it to others. Only complaint was that signal on the cable tv wasn't great and wifi was really slow.

Wonderful, beautiful, peaceful, close to ocean

Wonderful, clean, large property. Plenty of room for 4 teenagers and 4 adults. Close easy walk to ocean. Prompt response from rental company with any of our questions. Highly recommend!

Construction...not disclosed and annoying

The complex next door is under major renovation and this was not disclosed to us by tybee island rentals. There was beeping constantly from the lifts sunup to late everyday of our vacation. Tybee island vacation said they weren't aware of any problems before us which is odd. Superintendent said construction won't be complete until September. Stay away if you are looking for relaxation. Also if you want to cook and eat in the kitchen dishes and Utensils are sparse.
