Garden of the Stars Studio Katoomba

This luxury air conditioned 3 room studio offers a cosy intimate couples’ retreat in a highly sought after location on the Katoomba escarpment.

Your studio is situated on the ground floor to the side of the main house with it’s own private self checkin lockbox. The entrance is secured by a brown gate and a white brick wall for your privacy.

Your studio sleeps 2 guests and consists of a spacious and stylish, double bedroom with a comfortable King bed, electric blankets, loungeroom and a bathroom with shower. A reverse cycle airconditioner.
The loungeroom has a sofabed for guests who want to sleep separately.

The Kitchenette only offers very basic cooking with electric frypan or choose to cook on the electric bbq in your private courtyard for alfresco dining.

Your private courtyard includes an outdoor table and chairs, a 2 seater lounge and 2 sunlounges to take in the view.

No view from inside the studio as the studio is located on the side of the main house.

accepted as noise travels

Excellent location

I wanted a place to hike the various trails and this was perfect! Had everything I needed and so close to great walks, I only needed a single and cooking was fun, but challenging!

Comfy stay, great views

This was as advertised. The location is great, five minutes from the three sisters. Around 25-30 minute walk from the town, it offers everything you need for your blue mountains stay.

Incredible location and views!

Absolutely adored my stay at this property. Loved learning the history of the house and garden, and the view is truly to die for! It's a super convenient location as well, only a 30 min walk or a 2 min walk and 5 min bus ride into Katoomba and loved being able to walk down to the Three Sisters every evening. Would highly recommend!

Easy to access, everything we needed inside. Would have liked a hot plate to hear food, but otherwise great. Comfortable king bed. Beautiful gardens easy walking distance to Three Sisters.

Dear Gale, So wonderful to meet you and your husband during your stay in our studio. Glad you enjoyed the views and the sunshine. The small kitchenette has a large non stick frypan in the cupboard .... which is clearly noted in the description of the studio. What a shame you didn't mention this to me during the 3 days. What a view

Everything was fantastic. Very easy check in and the terrace and gardens were wonderful. Instead of going out for dinner, we got take out every night to eat outside on the terrace. Will stay here again.

Great position and reasonably priced Studio Apartment

A little gem of a place, Right near Echo Point. Has all amenities . No direct views from inside the apartment but panoramic views from backyard.

Spectacular view from the garden!

I had a great time with my daughter staying at the studio. In the morning I saw the sun rising and at night time I watched the moon rising. It’s such a wonderful location. Owner is very helpful and friendly! Highly recommended for a getaway with family or friends , you will love it!

I can’t stress how amazing our stay was at Garden of the stars studio apartment. Dalia and Joss were both exceptionally accommodating and great with communication. They really did make our stay. We stayed in the grounds of the apartment the whole time as there was no need to leave. We sat and had breakfast taking in the views and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My happy place has always been in nature and I found, that the Blue Mountains offered me the perfect space to retreat and be creative. Having worked in the corporate world for many years, I was ready for a tree change, and so in April 2017, I became the new custodian of this magnificent property. Previously owned by the late Richard Sterling, renowned Astrologer, Author and TV Personality with his own Astrology programme in the 1980's.

With my keen interest in Astrology and Numerology I guess you could say that the house found me. This highly sought after property offered me the grand view that I yearned for, a huge garden in which to potter, trim and weed which is a constant labour of love as you will see.... and the opportunity to meet and greet people which I love.

Uninterrupted mezmerizing views - rare to experience anywhere
with health giving clean air.
We are fortunate to experience the palpable healing energy on this property.
I suggest guests book a minimum of 2-3 days to benefit from the healing energy which dissolves stress and tension in the body and rejuvenates body/mind by relaxing.
