Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. A Mountain View of trees

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. Reviewer Comments: Overall the cabin had a great amount of space and filled our needs of 8. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, could have used a 13 x 9 cake pan. The carpet could be replaced. The resort pool was close to the cabin. I was a little disappointed in the "View", probably should change the name since the trees have taken over the views of the mountains

Cleanliness and quality

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As some who has a career in improving customer experience it was really the cleanliness and quality of the cabin was what drove the expirence down for me. Let’s start with the good, the location is awesome It’s close to a lot of things and easy to get, having a gas grill was also very cool, and having a very big family table was a huge bonus and the pool was super close . Now area for improvements, cleanliness, the over all cleanliness was not impressive, we found socks in drawers, stains on sheets especially in the theater room, bugs in the window, on the deck you could see a walking path the distance on the side. It felt like people are in and out and did the bear minimum when it came to cleaning, I believe validation is needed from the property owner or management at random to get an idea. There’s also a lean in the cabin and it is very noticeable in the hot tube, the cabin leans to the back left corner. Other improvement. In the up stairs game room, just remove the pool table and keep the foosball Table and add more arcade games. You can’t really play pool up there. Over all it was an okay experience but definitely noticed rooms for improvement

Girls trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: the directions the back way was great to bypass all the traffic. The house was perfect size for us. Everyone had their own bedroom for privacy.The house was beautiful. The hot tub was nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pans and dishes we needed. The location was amazing so close to all the activities and attractions we wanted to do and the grocery store was right down the street. The pool was nice to take a dip after a long day of walking. Management was very responsive to all of our questions.Cons: there wasn’t really a Mountain View. The trees have all grown up which blocked 99% of the mountains. The internet signal is too weak at times to enjoy streaming a movie.

A Mtn View Theater Lodge

Only complaint is downstairs toilet area is so small that your shoulders practically touch the walls on each side of you & bed in downstairs is caved in middle. Great location & amenities.

Reviewer Comments: We were pretty disappointed to arrive to discover this cabin that describes itself as a Mountain View doesn’t actually have a Mountain View. The porch is directly behind a line of trees so the view is of trees, no mountains. Unless they’re counting the third floor windows that you can so slightly see the mountains, but you can’t sit there. Overall this property was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Some things could be improved like some of the cabinet drawers were very unstable. I think those things are the first to go in rental properties like this though. The movie theater room was fun and my kids enjoyed the hot tub. I think next time we’d select another location, but if the Mountain View’s aren’t important to you this is a great choice. It was very spacious, but we came to see the mountains and didn’t get that.

Not Accurate View

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Elk Spring Resort each time we have come to TN and always loved it. This time, there was no view from our cabin and several things outdated and wrong with the cabin. When I reached out to ask if we could be moved because I had been told this cabin had the same view as our previous cabins (and the picture deceives you into thinking that), they stayed they couldn’t do that. We had to clean the cabin before moving our belongings in (filthy fridge, coffee grounds in the coffee maker, etc). This has never been our experience with Elk Springs. This really was a one off experience apart from all of our other experiences. I would not stay in this particular cabin again but would stay at the other cabins on Legacy Mountain where we stayed previously.

Family vacation

Reviewer Comments: First of all, let me stay that the location was close to everything but removed enough to feel like you are in nature (including our own mealy worms, spider webs and spider residents!). The cleanliness of the cabin, however, was unacceptable. We first entered the lodge and it smelled like my late grandmothers house after it was closed up for a month. Fine, I’m sure it will go away once we start occupying it. We had traveled all day and decided to take showers. Unfortunately, two of the three bathrooms’ shower floors were black (I would have posted pictures but this review portal doesn’t allow for that).There were other issues related to cleanliness- “organic” material on a bathroom sink, unknown debris in a cook pan. An AC vent fully covered in dust, and a large pile of food by the hot tub (which was actually hot AND clean). The longer we stayed, the more things we found dirty. Even the common area pool had black stains on the tiles (the hot tub next to the pool did NOT get hot). We tried to get compensated for this grime, but our answer was “the contract you signed states that we have the right to remedy by Correcting.... Ok. But every day we found something else that was dirty. At that point, I tried to get a refund and go someplace else. Again, we were told the contract we signed does not allow for refunds...All in all, we loved our time in the Smokies. And the location of this cabin was great. It could use a few updates and it could certainly use a good cleaning. If you rent here, please check your contract before you sign. Good luck!

Adequate but needs work

Reviewer Comments: Let me start off by saying that this cabin is ideally located for anyone looking to spend the majority of their time in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Even though there were other houses in the neighborhood, the tree cover made it feel very private and peaceful. That being said, the house needs a lot of work and improvements made. The large bathtub on the top floor had black sugar ants all inside. It was nice to have the landing with a pool table, arcade and foosball table but because there was so much crammed into a small space, it was difficult to play pool because you were bumping the wall or backed up to the foosball table. The microwave in the kitchen didn’t heat anything up no matter the power setting, the WiFi in the house was very weak with little bandwidth and if somebody was streaming a tv show, nothing else would really work. The main floor bath tub constantly dripped. The downstairs was the main concern. When we went downstairs, it smelled musty like there could have been water damage at some point and the bathroom smelled like sewage but that could have been due to a lot of rain in the area. The bathtub on the bottom floor looked so dingy and stained that I was not comfortable bathing my baby inside. We also found 3 windows opened on the bottom floor when we arrived, possibly to air it out because it smelled so musty. Lastly, the floors creaked so bad that if anybody was walking around on the main floor, it was very loud and would wake you up. I am happy I called the day before checkout to ask what the procedures were because I never got the text message that was supposed to tell me what to do. My family was happy to be located together but the house and it’s inconveniences and issues definitely put a damper on the trip.

Cabin Needs Some Updating

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fairly descent stay at this cabin. Elk Springs did a great job communicating things to me but I must say everyone in our party was very disappointed with the actual cabin. It's definitely an older cabin and the wear and tear shows terribly in certain areas. The floors in the living area had lots of marks and scratches that have never been repaired, all of the carpet on the lower level looked discustingly dirty. The parties that had to stay down there were not very happy at all. The HVAC unit didn't seem to work properly --- the lower level didn't seem to get warm unless you turned the temperature up extremely high and then in return you couldn't stand to be on the 2 upper levels because it was too hot. The jets in the tub in the upper king room was nasty --- didn't look like they had been cleaned in a very long time. So that tub was not able to be used. The sheets on the pullout couch in the living area was nasty. Thankfully we brought some of our own sheets for the beds. The loft area where the game room is, is entirely too small for all that they have crammed in there. The pool table is in bad shape and not level. Only one usable pool stick available. Our planned family pool tournament didn't happen because of the condition of the table. Very disappointing as the pool table/game room area was one of the main reasons we chose this cabin. Other than that, the stay was okay. I am not normally a person to complain, but this was definitely one of the worst cabins we've ever stayed in before while vacationing in Gatlinburg TN.

Our stay at A Mountain View Theater Lodge

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was blown away by the customer service of elk Springs resort during our stay! I originally had booked another cabin through a third-party website, and that third-party website stated the wrong number of bedrooms. When we got to our original cabin, we realized there were not going to be enough bedrooms for the number of people in our party. I called Elk Springs resort not even sure if they would answer because it was 830 at night. Samantha answered right away, and within five minutes, had us at an upgraded cabin with the correct number of bedrooms, that also had a game room in a theater room! I truly was expecting them to tell me there was nothing they could do because I booked it through a third-party website, but they went above and beyond to get us into a cabin that would fit our needs without paying any additional money, and they let us have a later check out on Sunday. Their responses were so prompt, they took care of us so well, and I cannot say enough about them. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful week at A Mountain View Theater Lodge

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family stayed here for a week and the experience was fabulous.We loved the bedroom situation and the kids could have the downstairs. Enough bathrooms for all. The kids loved the gameroom and we all made use of the hot tub and theater room. Beautiful views although the trees covered up some of it.The location was great! Just enough off the busy area but close to things we did. A wonderful cabin that I would return to.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay

The upstairs shower wasn't getting very good hot water but overall excellent place to stay. I will be back.

In the areas I gave a 4 star review I will address privately as I believe to be a oversight, since I've never had an issue before renting from Elk springs.

Cabin needs upgrade

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is in a good location, it is roomy, full kitchen, etc, but many times not working properly, A/C (heater), main living room TV, dented fridge door, not all stove top sections heat properly, requires exterior cleansing or all windows/doors/balcony, downstairs carpet also needs refreshing, bed head frames all need replacing and mattress also need to be replaced as they sink in the middle.

Kitchen needed more equipment and pool table area was small and hard to even play.
