Newly renovated cottage offers all of the amenities to make your vacation a success. The kitchen offers all new appliances, washer dryer, cooking utensils,pots/pans ect.. For a family dish enjoy the large brick BBQ pit, which once served as the local neighborhood pit over 100 years ago. The Master bedroom has a Queen bed, and balcony with a view of the trolly path and beautiful sunrises. The Secondary bedroom has two full size beds. The sun room features panoramic views of the yard. Parking is limited to the drive way and street.
The location is perfect for beach goers or those who desire the in town entertainment. The Galveston Pleasure Pier and Beach front is a quick walk from the home. The best Restaurants, shopping, and shows at the Historic Grand Opera House can be visited by horse drawn carriage. You truly get the best of both worlds!

Annual three - generation beach trip

We enjoyed a departure from our traditional beachfront house in this lovely piece of history. The house was immaculate and even though it is a piece of old Galveston history, all the amenities of today were available. The host was very helpful and the uniqueness of the location for our group encouraged us to try a few new adventures.

Amazing!

Very homey! Perfect place for a small family, we used the kitchen and it had everything you would need. Bedrooms are super comfy and the bathroom spotless! Very close to a lot of places. We will definitely come back! PS. Huge kudos to Nancy, she was wonderful and very gracious. Thank you Nancy!

Amazing Contact Skills

We rented this house for our coaches during a tournament. The house is beautiful inside to say the least. You can tell it's taken care of and maintained. My favorite area was the tv room. The house has a cozy feel to it. The host kept me updated at all times on her status in order to show me the property and turn over the keys. She then called me when 2 items were left behind so I could get them prior to leaving town. The house served is purpose. I would recommend bringing your folding chairs in case you want to enjoy the backyard area or balcony since they are both nice. It is a straight shot to the pier. Less than a 5 minute drive.

Great place

Very cozy and clean. I loved the patio and backyard area. My 6 year old daughter loved it as well. As other reviews note, it is larger than expected. I've never seen such a well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfy. There is some noise from Rosenberg St that will last until midnight on the weekend (the bedroom with two beds overlooks Rosenberg). Maybe I'm just a light sleeper. My daughter slept right through it. Besides that tiny annoyance, our stay was amazing.

Cutest Pink House

This was the cutest pink house on a corner lot. It has a great patio area with seating and a table. Very close to the beach and fully stocked with all the things needed for a beach vacation. I only wish there was a bathroom downstairs, other than that, this place is perfect.

very nice downtown house

Big house very clean downtown Galveston (25th street). The only problem is that there is no toilet on the first floor. Getting up often to the second floor becomes annoying with little kids. Good parking place and hose to rinse the kids when back from the beach.

It wasnā€™t our first stay and it wonā€™t be our last!

We stayed here last year and made sure to adjust our plans to be able to stay here again. The location is perfect, close to Seawall, the Pier and the Strand. This beautiful historic home and its cute yard are perfect! Clean and well updated. The host is wonderful and very responsive. We are already making plans to come back next year.

Fun Sister Getaway

This was the perfect house for a mini gateway! My sister and I had a mini vacay and took our two dachshunds to visit the beach for the first time. The house was beautiful, in the perfect location, had a great yard for our dogs to get out some energy, and is very well maintained. We felt right at home. We hope to stay here again and bring our parents next time!

A Real Gem!

Perfect place for a family

We stayed with our two kids and a dog, and had the perfect amount of room. The location is great, in a gorgeous historical neighborhood. The house is both charming and updated, we loved the plentiful natural lighting and the backyard! Fully stocked with towels, linens, laundry detergent, and kitchen supplies. We hope to return every year!

Great house, great location

We loved staying at this old yet beautiful home! The yard was perfect for my dog to relax in and my husband and I loved the balcony on the second floor! The location is also perfect for walking or taking the trolley to nearby attractions. The house was perfectly cleaned and the beds were comfortable. We would love to stay here again!
