Welcome to Casa de Blis!
This home is a serene oasis and a perfect fit for R&R or as an artist retreat.
This unique space is very close to downtown with the advantage of being in a safe, quiet residential neighborhood.
Skylights and Cathedral ceilings bring spaciousness and sunshine to the living room, dining and kitchen areas. Also, experience lovely Taos Mountain views from the backyard, both bedrooms and front porch!

Private yard is zeroscaped with beautiful flagstone paths, flagstone bench/table and an outdoor seating area that's perfect for watching sunsets, stars or enjoying your morning coffee. There's also a grill available if you choose to stay in and have a quiet evening at home.

Living Room has a CD/ stereo system, DVD and a TV equipped with Roku - so you can keep up with your netflix and favorite TV shows.

One special feature is the upright Steinway Piano.
In addition, there is a desk & small office alcove just in case you need to take care of business during your trip. And to keep the work serene - you will have a mountain view!
These additions make Casa de Blis a perfect artist / musician / writer retreat.

Casa de Blis is a 2 story townhome with a bedroom on the first floor (Queen) and as of 1/2018 the second floor (which is an open loft) features a Brand new Full size platform bed with memory foam mattress. In addition we have a brand new deluxe Queen size air mattress available. So the space easily sleeps 4-6.

2 full bathrooms one with tub and one with stall shower. Washer/Dryer. Full Kitchen is complete with dishes, pots/pans, microwave, coffee pot, appliances and cooking utensils. Linens & Wi-Fi are supplied.

Upstairs has a small AC unit to keep you cool in the summer and the Downstairs offers radiant heating to help warm your feet in the wintertime.

Nearby (walking distance) amenities include a Baskin Robbins, Supermarket, Taos Herb Company, Family Dollar, Bealls, Salon, Restaurants as well as The Taos Center for Natural Healing which is right next door! (amazing place for massages and other alternative treatments)

Casa de Blis was a great landing spot for a weekend of music in Taos. The property was clean and well equipped for the visit with a great patio area and easy access. The property is a short drive or moderate walk to the old town Taos area, quiet and secluded away from the main Taos highway, and a comfy place to relax. Our host was clear and responsive in communication, access and check in / out was easy, and we'd definitely stay again!

Great Holiday Stay

2 couples shared this property for 4th of July weekend. We got to see the firework show from the middle school, which was great! The property itself was nice for the 4 of us and fit us perfectly! The only issue we had with this entire stay was the coffee pot. Itā€™s just very slow. Other than that, everything was super nice and the host was prepared for anything we might have needed!

We love skiing Taos and we're so happy to find this lovely home for our stay! It is bright, cheerful, and very comfortable with all the amenities of home. Meredith was helpful, positive, and kind! Definitely a 10 out of 10!

Good price for the value

We thought this condo good for the price. I did love the Samsung Frame TV in the living room for resting after our hikes. The second bedroom on the first floor didn't have a window AC unit like the main bedroom and we were not comfortable leaving first floor windows open at night for safety reasons, so it was a bit warm even with the fam provided. It was in the high 80s when we were there so we appreciated the AC unit on the first floor-most places in Taos do not have AC.

Spacious. Excellent light: large windows downstairs and upstairs provided a lovely view of the sunset every day, and skylights in the living room created a bright and inviting space. Kind and responsive host. The neighbor's friendly cats are available for pets.

Family Ski Trip

This was an awesome find! My partner, my dad, and I came to try Taos Ski Valley and Angel Fire Resort. The town of Taos was a perfect middle ground for both ski resorts. The house was the perfect amount of space for 3 people and could even house a 4th or 5th person if needed. Very charming decor and we had access to everything we needed, inside and out (very central to town).

The property is swell, although I'd use the upstairs shower only in case of elbows hitting the wall. Communication with owner/manager was great, especially since the info from vrbo was wrong, and owner keeps trying to correct it. Thank you for the lovely space

Place was very clean and as online listing.

We both enjoyed the stay and were able to explore area with as base camp. The night lights outside were nice touch. Only complaint was couches were broken down and unconvertable, but we did not spend much time watching TV anyway.

My 3 sisters and were super happy staying here - it feels secluded and quiet but is near the main road, and more importantly the place itself is just lovely. Thereā€™s a great feel to it, as well as having all the amenities. Relaxing & Rejuvenating!

My partner and I stayed at this beautiful Taos House on our way from Flagstaff to Colorado. We needed a retreat away from everyone and this was PERFECT. The house was clean, well furnished and the backyard was absolutely adorable. It was really close to some beautiful hiking & hot springs. Spacious, affordable and exactly what we were looking for. We're not a couple so it was nice to have our own floors! We're usually crammed into hotel rooms and small cars on our travels. Definitely check out the ale house next door...best burgers.

Property is very comfortable and clean. Tv set up is not friendly to old guys. 2 nd year at this property and are already planning for next year. . A few maintenance issues that need attention: bad skylights, no good knives, we cooked in a lot. BBQ is past its prime. All together a wonderful stay.

I am a singer/songwriter/pianist currently living in Nashville, TN. Taos is home to me, it's such a magical & beautiful place! But my current work is in TN.
I love my home and enjoy visiting when I can. Taos is such an amazing place to recharge and take a step back from the chaos of life. I cherish my reprieves at 'home' for inspiration and to focus on songwriting. That's why I describe it as an Oasis. And Blis is my middle name (hence the spelling ;) Also, this house has been a joyful place for both myself and friends! Feel free to drop a line if you have any questions.

I designed it as a vacation home for myself. I set it up to be a place where one can, "get away from it all." The location is super close to town, but also nestled on a quiet street so you can escape crowds, noise when there are local events. Also, it's a small row of 6 townhouses (mine is an end unit) with lovely & quiet neighbors. And they are also friendly if you need anything. Kitchen is fully stocked with a huge island for cooking.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

Library, Piano, Desk Area for work- but it folds up and looks like a cabinet if you don't need it. Amazing Skylights & Cathedral ceilings. Taos Center for Natural Healing is literally steps away. It's an amazing place for massages, acupuncture and other alternative healing treatments. I also love having Baskin-Robbins right on the corner (less than quarter of a mile). It's a lovely little stroll to take at night before you settle in. The yard is zeroscaped with flagstone (porch, path, and little rock table) with an sweet view of Taos Mountain. You can also see the sunsets from the side windows and the yard. Taos sunsets are gorgeous! And there's a great view of the mountain from the front windows.
