Over the years, Pinetop Mountain Cabin has become an annual mountain retreat for many of my VRBO guests. When you arrive, plan to spend time on the deck and listen to the wind through the tall pines or simply take a walk in this quiet friendly neighborhood. Located near the base of Pinetop Mountain, charming Pinetop Mountain Cabin is 817 square feet with two bedrooms, one bath and can sleep up to six people. The cabin is completely furnished with the comforts of home including a WIFI, gas grill on the deck and hundreds of TV channel options on the ROKU. While updated, we kept some “old school charm” you would expect to find at a cabin. All you need to bring are your personal items and groceries. Come relax and enjoy all the activities the White Mountains has to offer.

It is my goal to offer a place you will want to return to every season. Pinetop Mountain Cabin is priced cheaper than most "budget" hotels, yet you get privacy and so much more room to spread out. I personally make an effort to provide a place you will enjoy and call your home when you visit. Proof in the property and location is in my repeat VRBO guest with 2 different guests that have even bought and now live in the same neighborhood.

I will do my best to answer any questions you have about your trip and can suggest where to eat, rent ski equipment, and where the fish are biting!

Location:
Away from busy main streets, but close to town with Charlie Clark’s restaurant and Eddies country store about 1.5 miles away.

Activities:
Hiking, Fishing, Hunting, Horseback Riding, Skiing, Sledding, Tubing, Swimming, Golfing, Miniature golf, Go-Carts, Casino, Cinema, Arcade, and Shopping are just some of the activities available in the Pinetop-Lakeside area.

Hon-Dah Casino with a restaurant is five miles away. Woodland Lake Park offers scenic walks, hiking trails, fishing, outdoor volleyball, and picnic tables. Sunrise Ski Park is a forty five minute drive away. Shopping: Wal-Mart Supercenter, Lowes, and Home Depot are nine miles away. Safeway is three miles away.

Great Spot!

This was a great little cabin in the woods! The place was perfect for us and had everything we needed. It was close to everything but still tucked away in the beautiful pines. Scott was a great owner- very responsive before and throughout our stay. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Kelli

Holiday weekend

This property was clean and exactly what we expected. When you review the property the pictures don’t make it stand out from others in the area but the price reflects the property your getting and we were very satisfied. We will stay again.

Cozy cabin in the pines; great snow trip.

Cabin is as advertised. While we did have a tough time getting in due to snow, it did make for a great couple of days at Sunrise Ski Resort. If you are heading up in heavy snow make sure to not use Briarwood Lane as it is extremely steep. Cabin is warm and had plenty of room for our family of 5.

Wish I could have controlled the weather. Had to refund guest for a night as they couldn't reach the cabin. A frustrating situation for sure, but not sure what else I could have done in the snowy situation to make things better. I actually drove 200miles to be at the cabin in the snowy situation to be sure the cabin was ready for the guest. Guest suggested that I should have provided alternative directions as SIRI/google maps wasn't providing them with a clear alternative path to get to the property. I was clearing the driveway with a snowblower at the rental property for the guest when he was having trouble getting to the location and I missed his call. At the end of the day, I lost out on a nights stay and guest was forced to stay in a hotel I covered with my lost income. Not ideal for weather of us, but take away the worst snowstorm of the year and I don't see any issues.

Great cabin, great location!

My husband and I stayed at the cabin with our toddler during the weekend of the Run to the Pines car show. We very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was spotless, and the beds were comfy. We will definitely stay again. Thanks, Scott!

Gobbler Peak House review.

This is a nice clean and well equipped 2 bedroom single bath house on a quite street. The owner is right down the street should his assistance be needed. Located in a nice neighborhood that is bicycle and walker friendly. If you are into fishing this will be like paradise. The interior is decorated with enough fishing paraphernalia to open a second hand tackle store. We are looking forward to our next stay here..

Cozy little cabin

We loved our stay. The cabin is perfect. A big deck and a fire pit in the snowy yard. Beautiful views. Full kitchen with everything you need for cooking. Comfy couch and chairs in living room. The beds in both bedrooms were extremely soft and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and updated. We plan to stay again.

great winter vacation

My boyfriend and I rented the cabin from Scott from Dec 26-31st. Its very homey and cozy. Lots of snow, even snowed a few times during our stay. Scott is a great, friendly owner. We had no problems while we where there and enjoyed exploring the town.

Fabulouse trip

we had an awesome time. The place was very clean and had everything we needed to stay cozy. There was tons of snow on the ground and it snowed Sunday. The floor heaters worked great. This is not our first time staying here and definitely wont be our last. We were close to stuff to do even sledding.. It was so beautiful and quiet. Cant wait to go back.

Cute Pinetop Cabin

My husband and i just finished a stay at Scott's Cabin. Excellent Value ! We normally stay at hotels when we visit the area. This cabin was far more enjoyable than the hotels. We especially enjoyed the quiet, timbered neighborhood and well as the use of a kitchen (with all utensils). Scott was an exceptional host. We arrived late but Scott was there offering to help in any way. We hiked each day and I also attended a local yoga studio. Please also note that this cabin is more spacious than the pictures depict. We have already planned a return visit !

Pinetop get away

My wife and daughter went up for a long weekend, Scott's cabin is in a great location tons of fall colors gleamed out his windows. Scott was able to provide me a fishing report to find the best spots the fish were active. We caught a bunch of trout and a giant crawfish that looked like a dang lobster. Scott checked in to ensure we made up there ok and that everything we needed was ready. The home was very clean, my wife commented on this a few times. We really enjoyed our three days up in Pinetop. My family will be back once the snow hits and we can snowboard. for some reason I was unable to get the star rating on the website, but I would rate this place a 5 start excellent rating.

cozy, cute and clean

My family absolutely loved this cabin! Located in a quiet neighborhood well away from the highway on a beautiful property, we arrived to a clean and wonderful smelling cabin. Beautifully decorated with a fisherman theme, this cabin has everything you need for a fun and cozy getaway. Our kids had a blast running around the area and playing with the toys in the kid's closet. Well stocked with movies to watch, comfortable beds, and best of all, a wonderful and accommodating owner who made sure our stay was perfect.

Quiet, comfortable and clean!

This cabin is very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Great place for rest and relaxation. Close to town and all restaurants. Scott is very easy to work with and try's to make your stay pleasurable. Would recommend this place for couples or small family. Love all the fishing decor! Cathy

Excellent and clean Cabin

My family and I were in Pine Top for the Labor Day weekend and were very pleased with how clean and comfortable the cabin was. All of our needs were met. The neighborhood is beautiful and also very close to town. The owner, Scott, is a pleasure to rent from. He made sure to make us feel welcomed and made sure that all of our needs were met before and during out stay. Definitely going back!

Great Getaway

This cabin was clean and comfortable for my son and I. Everything we needed to get away from the heat and spend some time together. The kitchen was adequate to prepare all of our meals. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, adding to a relaxing time. Very close to grocery store and dining options. Owner was committed to having all details ready for us and accessible to meet any needs. Will definitely consider future stays here.

What a wonderful guest. Walking up to the cabin I could hear a guitar playing inside. Wanted to sit and listen, but knew it was your vacation and time not mine. Certainly a very relaxing atmosphere with the guitar playing in the woods. Glad you enjoyed your stay. - S

Cabin in the mountains

A beautiful will kept cabin in the pines. Very clean and located in a beautiful forest. Very convenient to stores and restaurants. All within 5 minutes driving time. The weather was fantastic, cool temperatures and beautiful skies. We had a little rain which was well received by us. It was just a very peaceful and relaxing environment.

very relaxing

We had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful. We had our 17year old with us and she had a great time. There was stuff to do in town & if your a walker there are plenty of stores to walk to. I could of just stayed at the cabin it was so quiet (even for a holiday weekend). I also liked the fact it was furnished so I didn't have to pack bunch of supplies. We even took morning walks and the green tree's were a wonderful change from the brown looking tree's in the valley. We already have our next stay booked I can't wait..

Fresh air

We had a great time it was so peaceful I didn't want to leave. There was always something going on in town but I could just stay at the cabin all day. It was beautiful with all the green tree's & of course the weather was awesome with the rain. Very quiet so great for stress releasing. It comes furnished so didn't have to worry about packing a bunch of extra items. If your a walker it is close to restaurant's & stores you could walk to. We already have our next trip planned. Cant wait.

To say that the White Mountains is in my blood would be an understatement. As a child, I have fond memories of my family vacations each summer in the 70’s traveling from Ohio to visit my grandparents cabin at Hawley Lake in the White Mountains. While it was certainly no frills, memories of that cabin and the times will always be with me. I can recall struggling to get a weak radio signal from the only radio station 30 -40 miles away in Show Low that ironically played horrible music and featured an always interesting newscast. It really didn’t matter as the fish always seemed to be biting and the conversations and company was always good.

Eventually all the cabins at Hawley Lake were shut down and my grandparents moved off the mountain. About that time (1987) I moved to Arizona to attend school and have lived here ever since. Longing for the times and memories of the past, I eventually found myself on vacation in Pinetop in 2002 and decided to purchase this cozy cabin as a second home. While I knew I couldn’t replace the past, this place certainly has created more memories of a lifetime. This cabin has watched my kids grow into adults and has been the place of great times with friends and family since 2002. In the spring of 2015 we decided we had grown to big for this 2 bedroom cabin and have recently moved to another cabin just 2 doors down the street. This place means a lot to my family and it is our hope that you enjoy the cabin and the mountains as much as we do.

Location, location, location. This property sits in a quiet residential area that is tucked away from the main traffic running in and out of town. Many guests have told me in person that the pictures on VRBO don't do the property justice and are surprised at how muck better it presents itself in person. The cabin is close to everything you'll need, but far enough away to have peace and quiet. Check the guest reviews on this location and property and they will back it up. I pride myself as an owner to be sure all who rent the cabin will enjoy it as much as my family has since 2002.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

One view of the mountain and quiet calm and you'll understand why I chose to purchase this property in 2002. Nice quiet neighborhood, but a stones throw away from town and activities. I can truly say it has been a pleasure. It is my personal home "investment" so keeping it maintained and clean is a main priority.
