Welcome to "Roseview"!

A true Victorian masterpiece, Roseview blends both luxury and comfort...

It has 4 large bedrooms which can accommodate up to 9 guests -- perfect for families and friends! The first bedroom adorns a king size bed; the second and third providing queen beds in each, while the forth cozy bedroom offers a full sized bed for our guests. Need more accommodations? We also have a sofa bed available for guests use. Moreover, one of the bedrooms opens up into the front room -- allowing more space and so you can watch over your kids if you do not want them out of your sight.

Bedrooms are just icing on the cake. For certain, you'll be amazed by our impeccably designed living room. Spacious, cozy and classy -- you will definitely enjoy the relaxing ambiance of Roseview. In addition, the house has a fully equipped kitchen, complete with breakfast table and cooking items for the chef in your group. The home also has adequate desk work space.

Whether inside or out, relax and enjoy the amazing touches and details pridefully included throughout our splendid home!

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home, yard and driveway.

The Neighborhood:
Within eyesight of the SAP Center, this Downtown home is a short walk to Market Street to enjoy a stroll in Plaza de Cesar Chavez, fine dining, Arts and lively night life.

Getting Around:
Short walk from Cal-Train allowing easy travels to get you to get to SF for the day.

Other Things to Note:
* Washer&Dryer is not installed but not working at the moment
* One of the bedrooms opens up into the front room.
* Outdoor security cameras are present in our property.
*Trash is taken out on Sunday evenings to be collected and the cans returned on Monday
*The property is conveniently located near the train station for easy access to public transportation (some noise to be expected)
*If you're planning a gathering or party, please look elsewhere as we do not allow any type of gatherings. We thank you for understanding

Nice place

Really nice place but t he dishwasher needs cleaning/repairs, there are old dishes in it growing some vegetations. This is the only reason for 4 starts

Football Game Weekend

Cool Victorian! Very spacious. Awesome kitchen space. Home is definitely a good fit for adult get togethers. Little corner store is a great feature. Would definitely stay again.

Quick walk to downtown or the convention center

Spent two nights in San Jose. Location is great to walk to the thirty plus restaurants nearby. You can walk to the Shark's game from here. Place has nice looks from a time long past with modern furnishings.

It was really neat to stay in a piece of history. The home was huge inside. Recently renovated with all of the modern amenities. A block walk away from the SAP center. Great location from which to tourist SF Bay area

What a gem!

Suited our needs perfectly! The house is over 100 years old, so of course it’s a bit banged up, as to be expected, but it was clean and comfortable and full of cool details! Large and comfortable. Keep in mind it’s a bit loud because of the location, but the farther back you are in the house the quieter it gets, and it never bothered us. The whole process was easy and smooth and we will definitely be renting this spot again when we are in the area! Thank you!

San Jose

House was beautiful and had so much character. Plenty of space for our family staying together to hang out (3 adults 2 kids). Spacious, clean and had a driveway that fit both cars. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants and coffee shops. Felt safe in the home and kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast everyday (plenty of silverware, plates, pans etc). Property owner was extremely responsive and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Close to a street car and the airport but we were able to sleep through the sounds of the city. Would highly recommend this home for a San Jose stay!

Good location, some noise but tolerable.  Very charming and spacious. Dishwasher looked dirty/rusty (did not use). Refrigerator kept beeping every 2 hours and required reset to stop the beeping. Closet in the front bedroom was full of items and not ready for guest use. Bathroom and bedroom doors don’t have locks. Front yard and backyard were not cleaned therefore not useable. With some TLC this would be a very charming and comfortable place right in the heart of San Jose.

Inside ok. Outside dirty.

Place inside is cool! Dishwasher did not work had to hand wash the dishes. Tons of trash left by previous renters. Outside needed to be cleaned up big time

We actually loved the house but we were there with are 82 year old parents and the tv wasn’t working you need to put a smart tv in so you can actually get Netflix app on it also dishwasher didn’t work and yard was a mess

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the inside of the house is nice, and we got quick service through the app when we had problems with the showers, the backyard was unusable because of trash and accumulated leaves. A rat visited the kitchen at night. The neighborhood is not pleasant.

Lovely home / compromised location

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a truly lovely house inside, but you should know before you go that you will be disappointed by the location. The house is a stone's throw from the tracks, a freeway overpass, and a heavily-used beverage mart. The backyard was unusable when we were there (different than what was advertised), and the front yard was littered with cigarette boxes and other trash. The driveway accommodates 2 cars; parking is sketchy if you have a 3rd. Inside is a different story. It was a spacious, comfortable, and even elegant space for our family reunion. I would recommend this property, but think it's better if you know what to expect from the location.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Worst AirBNB I've ever stayed at. When I arrived, the AC/Heat was off and it was less than 50 degrees F inside. The hot water does not last more than 2 showers. There were not enough towels supplied for my entire party. There were stains on the sheets. There was garbage that magically appeared overnight and blocked my car in the drive way and I was told to move it myself. The road to the house was closed, but the host failed to inform us, so we drove around a few times before finally just going around the 'road closed' sign. There are no working locks on any of the interior doors including the bathrooms.

We really loved the size of the house and rooms — plenty of space and very comfortable for our stay. The historic charm of the home was a big highlight, and it was well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, towels, and washcloths, which we really appreciated.A few pieces of helpful feedback: extra blankets would have been nice, the backyard was unfortunately unusable due to overgrown bushes and trees, and adding chairs to the front porch would make it a great seating area.Future guests should be aware that the light rail runs directly across the street and is very loud, but the location is also very convenient for getting around.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the character and space the home offered. Thank you!

My stay in San Jose

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I stayed at this residence in San Jose. It was conveniently located near the Tech Interactive Museum which was our primary destination. The house was very nice on the inside and attractive on the outside. It was clean and well decorated. There is a trolley line that runs right next to the house so one does hear the crossing warning but it is not disruptive. The only disturbing item was that the garbage pickup was not being handled properly so there was a rather large accumulation at the rear door. We notified the owners. Also a problem with a shower curtain that would not stay in place. I would recommend to the owners that they have an arborist come to attend to the large tree in the front yard. Upper branches are rubbing against the roof and gutters and will cause some damage to the exterior if not handled soon.In general though, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
