Friends' annual trip

This property was perfect for our long weekend in Colorado Springs. Tim was the perfect host-bringing us beautiful flowers for the table, providing snacks, and being available if we needed anything. The house was so comfortable and clean. The view from the deck and hot tub is amazing. The garage game room was a favorite. A perfect place to get away with friends and family. Thanks, Tim, for a wonderful stay!

Best House & Best Host!!!

My family and I stayed with Tim and from the moment we booked with him, we felt completely welcomed and could not wait to start our trip. In the weeks leading up to the trip, Tim was very communicative and even helped us with some itinerary decisions as well. When we arrived, he had us wine, snacks, and roses! We truly felt like we were staying in our home away from home. Tim’s place is incredibly clean and very well stocked - anything we needed, he had! From paper towels, to coffee pods, to fluffy towels, the list goes on and on! My dad and brother enjoyed the hot tub and game room every night. The view from the back deck absolutely cannot be beat! We ate dinner out there almost every night. The location is perfect and convenient. We weren’t sure which was better - Tim or his amazing home. There is no better place to stay in Colorado Springs!

BEST VRBO HOST EVER!!!

Tim is the most gracious, friendliest, most welcoming host I have ever encountered. You leave his property feeling like you have met a new friend. The house was impeccably clean, not to mention the best stocked property we have ever rented. And the views are better than the pictures. Do NOT hesitate to book this property. It really was perfect.

Colorado Springs trip

We just had a wonderful stay at this VRBO rental and could not have been happier with the accommodations and Tim (the host). I highly recommend this rental and would stay here in the future if I returned to Colorado Springs.

This place is the real deal!!

Just completed a one week stay and all I can say is awesome!! Tim, the host, is a wonderful gentleman and makes sure you have everything you need to have a fabulous time. The house is well appointed with everything you could possibly need, and the view, oh my, the view is spectacular! Pictures just don’t do it justice!! Finally, the place is located conveniently next to many of the area’s finest attractions - we can’t wait to come back!!

Stunning Views

This place is absolutely AMAZING! The views from the deck can’t be beat. We loved sitting in the hot tub as we looked at Pikes Peak. We were within 15 mins from everything we wanted to do. The inside was spacious and we had more than enough room for the 5 of us. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and there were plenty of clean towels for the hot tub and showers. The house was extremely clean! The kids (13, 11, and 3) loved the garage with all the table games. There were plenty of supplies for all of the games! We hope to visit again! Tim was very helpful and kind and thought of every last detail.

All I can say is AMAZING!

There were six of us for a girls' trip and Tim was such an attentive host, ensuring we always had what we needed. Even a surprise for the birthday girl! This property listing is everything he says it is and more. The view from the hot tub was breathtaking—more than ample space for the six of us. Pictures do not do the view justice. I would highly recommend this property!

Fantasic Property!

We've stayed in a lot of rental houses and have never experienced a host like Tim. He was so accommodating and attentive with a lot of extra touches most hosts don't do. He left us treats for our stay. The hottub was so clean and the view was gorgeous.

Everything we could ever ask for in a vacation rental!

Location was perfect. Close to so much and was absolutely breathtaking while sitting on the deck. The game room and hot tub were great for family time while not sight seeing/ shopping. The kids loved it! Tim the host was so accommodating. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone.

Everything we could want (and more)

Everything about Tim’s place is fantastic. Excellent location and layout, very well appointed, all-around great place for our guys’ stay and play long weekend. Gorgeous view from the back deck, garage full of gaming activities good for hanging out after spending the day hiking and checking out the sites. Have done “this” at a bunch of locations in various states, and this was the best set up we’ve seen. Thx Tim!

AMAZING!

I can’t say enough good stuff about this whole place! Tim is very detailed in everything from getting favorite snacks, wine, having chocolate and flowers on the table when we arrived. The Hot tub and Game Room were a huge hit with our whole family! And the View WOW is just breathtaking! To be able to see Pikes peek and Garden of the Gods right from the deck and watch the most beautiful sunsets while in the hot tub or just relaxing on the deck was amazing! Very good location! If we come back that way we would definitely stay again!

Spectacular Home/Lovely HostR

The home is truly exceptional. Everything one would need for a beautiful stay from a cabinet full of every spice for cooking to plush robes for the hot tub. The phenomenal view cannot be captured by a photo: we spent hours enjoying from the deck, yard below and from cozy spots in the house. Outstanding wi-fi and the house was decorated and displayed thoughtfully with information about Colorado Springs artfully displayed. The owner most of all made our vacation unique, life saving and truly memorable. I highly recommend this home/owner as THE place to stay for an extraordinary vacation experience just minutes from the most beautiful parks in America!!!

Girls 50th Birthday Getaway

Our stay at this house was wonderful! Tim was very attentive to our needs and made our stay extra special by the personal touches he provided including; a dozen roses, wine, and even a birthday cake! I would definitely stay here again and will recommend this property to friends and family!

Far Better Than Expected!

This place is a true gem! And it served us perfectly for a family time together! The views are spectacular! We looked forward to our time relaxing at the house enjoying the patio, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, darts, etc! The beds were very comfy and the house had everything we needed. Furthermore, the host was wonderful! He was so considerate to make sure we had everything we needed and then some! He goes above and beyond for his guests! Flowers, wine, ice cream, fluffy robes, etc! He is one of a kind! We were so comfortable there we didn’t want to leave. And the house is in a great location close to anything you want to do! And by the way, did I mention the VIEW!! I don’t know if it gets any better! We would definitely want to go back!

Amazing Views

We had a wonderful time staying at Tim’s place in Colorado Springs. I’ve never had a host be so responsive and provide as much attention as Tim. He even went out of his way to provide us with a fresh flower arrangement of red roses! His home is beautiful along with some amazing views of pikes peaks and the garden of the gods. His home is in a great location to be able to get to attractions very easily. The home was comfortable and had plenty of room. The back deck provides for amazing views

That View!!!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was stocked with all of the things that you probably forgot to pack or pickup at the store. The “hottub with a view” was breathtaking and the games in the garage kept all of the teens entertained during our downtime. We really enjoyed some morning runs around the neighborhood and Tim is a gem! Definitely coming back next year!

Everyone Deserves a Stay Like This One

Where do I begin? We stayed for a full week; this home is the real deal, and the host behind it all making the true magic happen is Tim. Most importantly, everything about this VRBO is accurate: the game room, the view, the house in its immaculate state (with so many amenities that are NOT listed, provided by Tim). The communication with Tim leading up to our stay was a comfort to us, he was never once bothered by our countless questions, and his response time was immediate it seemed. This was my hubby's first time in CO celebrating his upcoming retirement, and we're both so very glad it was at this special place. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet, and thankfully Tim also has a good rapport with the neighbors, we were looking for tweezers while Tim was with us in the driveway which a neighbor provided, BTW Tim even performs minor procedures haha! The guy walks on water, honestly. The house location in CO Springs is perfect, just a few minutes from many touristy attractions, and an easy getaway (just hop on 24 or 25) to Cripple Creek and Denver for example. Honestly I could go on and on and on. I'll end here by stating that our stay was far beyond anything we could have imagined. We've already begun talking about "next year's trip" which will be at this location hopefully with our whole family. And the bonus? We found a dear friend in Tim.

Fantastic Stay

Friendly, welcoming, hospitable, accommodating, personable...all words that initially come to mind when thinking about our stay. Tim has a wonderful home in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views from the back deck. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer and it is my sincere hope that we'll be able to someday return. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect Getaway

This house had everything we could possibly need. It was the perfect place to come home to and relax after a day of activities. We loved sitting out on the deck and the hot tub. Tim was amazing. Hello! My name is Tim Hobson and I'm a Colorado native born and raised in Colorado. I've been in Colorado Springs since 1988 working as an IT Project Manager for 30 years. I've finally decided to break away from the life in a cubical and go back to my love of working with customers. I was a llama / fishing outfitter/guide back in the early 90's. I have backpacked and camped all over Colorado. My main goal is to insure you have a wonderful time when you come to stay in my home. I will go out of my way to make sure you're comfortable, cozy, entertained and happy during your stay. Therefore, this is not just your standard rental. My plan is to add services which will improve your stay. I'll be glad to discuss the activities you're planning in the Colorado Springs area and make sure your vacation is a wonderful experience! I'm looking forward to meeting you.

You just can't beat the view from my back deck. I've had many people visit my home and are 'jaw dropped' when they walk out onto my back deck. It really is spectacular. The sunrises and sunsets are soothing to the soul. The hot tub experience is magical. You just won't believe how beautiful it is. Watching the sun go down over Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods and then star gazing into the night is an experience of a lifetime. Of course, location is everything when you come to Colorado Springs. My home is in the heart of so many wonderful attractions.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

1) Free hiking/fishing guide (me!)
2) Centrally located in the middle of many of the tourist attractions in the area that make the city of Colorado Springs famous.
2) Game room in the garage including ping pong and pool
3) Wildlife come right into the yard.
4) An old, lovely grand piano that sounds wonderful in the sun room.
5) Over 40 board games in the collections (so far). If you have a game you like to play and I don't have it, I'll get it! It's just another addition to my collection of games in the house.
6) One of the most amazing views in Colorado Springs. I've had many friends of mine who are Colorado Springs natives that are stunned to see that I have such an amazing view. The first thing people say when they walk onto the deck is, "Wow... this is amazing." Come see for yourself.
