This is great property! Right on the water with beautiful sunsets. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of space for all of us to spread out and spend time together. Beds were comfortable. There's three bedrooms, one on each floor, with a second room in the basement that has a futon and a bed in the landing space on the way into the master suite on the 2nd floor. The cottage is adorable. Lots of water toys and a few watercraft. Great location, we did day trips almost every day and Bath is a great place to start from. Overall it was a great stay and I'd love to go back.

Chris and Sara were very responsive and the check in process was easy. An email from them several days in advance of our arrival was full of useful information. The view was gorgeous and we saw eagles and ospreys every day. The trails through the woods were close by and provided a nice early morning or evening walk. The house is spacious and beautiful and accommodated 8 adults and 4 children under 18 months nicely (together with the annex cabin). Hanging out on the beach was fun and sunsets on the patio were lovely. There is much to do in the area if you are so inclined to leave the house…. Blueberry picking being one of them. Overall a fantastic family trip.

Wonderful visit!

This property was a perfect space for our family gathering. Beautiful setting, so much fun in the water and an incredibly comfortable and spacious home. We would definitely return!

Beautiful spot,responsive hosts

Very private, beautiful views. Bath is sweet town and not too far to do day trips to other towns. House was great and spacious.

We loved the house and all the amenities. Had beautiful weather and really enjoyed the fire pit as we watched the sunsets.

Excellent home for big family gatherings. Had 25 family at one point for lobsters and steak. House had everything, and didn't feel crowded at all.Grand daughters burned a lot of energy exploring the beach,

Great place

Wish there was a deck off the main floor of big house. Couldn’t find the hot tub. Great kitchen and living room! Ample space. Great stay

Perfect Maine Getaway

We loved this property!!!! The house was amazing in every way; from the private beach to the nearby walking trails, views of the bay from every window, gourmet kitchen , amazing sunsets and a game room with a pool table, ping pong and darts… it just doesn’t get any better.

Nice spring trip

Family vacation with 8 adults and plenty of room for everyone. Everyone was really pleased with the main home and we were closer to Bath than I thought we were going to be. Plenty of trails in the surrounding area and a good home base for exploring this area of Maine.

Perfect fall vacation

We had a wonderful stay with extended family at this beautiful, clean, and comfortable home and property. We has everything we needed for a fun and relaxing stay, close to many great activities to keep the kids and out of state visitors busy and enjoying the best of what Maine and Midcoast has to offer! Fabulous views and sunsets. Many eagle sightings!

Amazing Property

We enjoyed our stay in this home very much! It's beautiful inside and out. We loved kayaking in the river, sitting on the back deck, and when it got cooler in the evening, we enjoyed being inside with the huge windows and the gorgeous view of the sunset. The bedrooms were comfortable and the little cottage was perfect too. We highly recommend the house and will stay there again when we can!

Nirvana

This was our 2nd time at this gorgeous property. It is perfect in every way. Beautiful sunsets, hiking trails,kayaking and canoeing, bald eagles flying by, gourmet kitchen… a little slice of heaven

This was our family's first vacation in Maine and Chris and Sara's property was perfect for us. Clear and easy check in, well appointed kitchen. We spent part of every day on the water and appreciated the kayaks, canoe, paddleboard, life jackets and beach chairs. Short trip to Bath, Brunswick, Freeport when we needed supplies or wanted to eat out. Mainly we stayed "home" and enjoyed all that the cabin and its surroundings had to offer. Highly recommend.

Our family had a lovely time at this property. There was plenty of space for our family of eight, and we enjoyed the location on the river. We were able to see bald eagles outside the windows several times on our trip, which was fantastic! Each family essentially had a floor and a bathroom, which was so convenient and made us feel as if we had our own spaces. Having the washer/dryer was wonderful and allowed us to pack light. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was ample living space on the main floor of the main house.

House with eagles

Beautiful home with wonderful touches from our hosts - wine, flowers, coffee and candy! Gorgeous bay views throughout the back of the house. Fully equipped kitchen with all you need for lovely dinners. Eagles soared right above our heads out last morning - perfect finish to a perfect stay. Thank you Chris and Sarah!!

Perfect get away

We are a family large group of various ages ( one crawling infant) who stayed due to a family wedding in Georgetown! The space of the home was lovely and relaxing, everything we possibly needed was there for us. The infant life vest saved us as my son forgot the baby's at his home! The scenery, seeing the eagles, the quiet- I can't give this home enough praise!

Fall family get to gether

Wooded. Lots of space. Beautiful views. A bit challenging for folks with less than great mobility. Wonderful fireplace and games to plan. Great kitchen. Nice deck. Watched eagles, ducks and geese. Not far from lots of shopping....LL Bean etc.

couldn't have been better!

We had the best time during our stay, seeing bald eagles and woodpeckers, swimming and paddling on the water, walking the nearby trails, taking easy drives to nearby sites. The reality is even better than the photos. So peaceful and relaxing. The house is well-stocked for a group, both in the kitchen and with the water and other game/play equipment. The hosts were flexible and very responsive, but everything was so well-explained and in great condition that we didn't need to do much other than enjoy! We all hope to be back!

Christmas stay

This is a lovely property We gathered there for a family Christmas. The three levels of the house gave us ample space to spread out when we wanted to and the large living room area was great when we wanted to be together. We rented just the main house. Very clean, well stocked and tucked away for privacy but still only minutes to grocery store and beaches. The pool/pingpong table was a big hit with my neice and nephew. We even got Gramma to shoot a few balls. We will definitely consider this place again for our family get togethers.

Spectacular Views

Every room in this house offers beautiful water views. Enjoy dinner in the dining room or patio while watching gorgeous sunsets. Bedrooms on separate levels, as well as a separate cabin, allow for privacy. House is very clean and well-equipped, and the owners are friendly and responsive. Be aware that the steps to the beach are very steep, and the beach is rocky, not sandy. The swimming and boating are great, though. We saw seals and a bald eagle!
