A luxurious Tahoe escape surrounded by lush pine forest, this air-conditioned 3BR home offers seclusion yet is just a short drive to the shore, Heavenly, shopping, dining, and some of the area's most popular trails.

This home cannot host more than 6 adults, 8 all together if children ages 5 and under are included. This applies 24/7.

The open-concept great room seamlessly connects the living area, kitchen, and dining area. The living room features plush seating for 6 surrounding a gorgeous stone fireplace and mounted flat screen TV. Adjacent is the fully equipped kitchen with updated appliances, generous counter space, and an island with seating for 4. The formal dining table seats 8.

The master bedroom on the second floor is luxurious with a King-size bed, lounge seating, work desk, TV, and an attached master bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub, walk-in shower, and dual sinks. The lower level boasts an additional entertainment room with a sofa sleeper, second fireplace, and large flat screen TV. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and bedroom 2 has a queen, both with access to the downstairs full bathroom with shower/tub combo. A half guest bathroom is located near the main floor living area.

A beautiful home in a quiet forested area with easy access to all South Lake Tahoe has to offer. Just the right size for our family of five. A spacious living/dining/kitchen area: The living area has a large comfortable couch and two comfortable chairs facing the fireplace (did not use) and TV. We dined inside and out (nice table on a large secluded deck with relaxing views of forest and peaks). A well equipped kitchen: the frig has an excellent ice maker, the gas cooktop gets the job done but is showing it’s age, and the knives are a little dull -something I’ve come to expect from all vacation rentals. This large common area did get a little warm (even with the A/C) in the afternoon as the sun came in the large western facing windows during our July stay -cooled off nicely by 6:00 pm and the other areas of the home remained quite cool. The bedrooms and bathrooms met our needs nicely. The hot tub on the lower deck was well used and accommodated our group. We also enjoyed walking the trails below the property that led to a steam where you could get your feet wet and see Tahoes small airport - we noticed only a little noise (not loud) on one afternoon. If you have trouble using stairs you should probably consider a different property. We will gladly return to this home.

Great Quiet Spot

Great spot in a quiet neighborhood. Far enough from crowds, but close enough to get to towns/hiking/attractions easily. The kitchen was well stocked & the bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. Nice seating on the top deck & dining area for a group.

Great place to stay

Very close to pretty much anything you wanna do. A short drive to the slopes. House was awesome. Very quiet neighborhood, views and hottub were great. Great communication with rental staff.

Spacious

The home is very spacious and the beds were comfortable. We loved our stay. The only thing we would request is maybe a few more kitchen towels. There were only 3 kitchen towels for the 6 of us which meant we had to use paper towels (which were provided) just not as eco friendly.

We didn’t like the later checkin time and checkout time. An additional hour each way, goes a very long way.

Nice home in Tahoe

The home was spacious and well appointed. Hot tub was great and quite large. Nice view of the mountains. You can’t walk to the lake but the drive is simple and you save money because it is a drive. Expansive deck with nice BBQ. We ate dinner on the deck each night. I’d return here in a heartbeat. Note that stairs are necessary to enter and move about the home. That was not a problem for us, but I would just want people to understand that stairs are involved.

Lake Tahoe

Overall good. Our biggest complaint is the Property Managment company’s rigid rules and procedures were disenchanting. A couple of Maintenance issues such a pressure issue with master bath and breaker issues, downstairs. The noise of the nearby constant dog barking and helicopter tours were a little irritating. We loved the use of the garage, beach chairs and cooler. Property was very clean and well Maintained.

In fact, our vacation rental ordinance is one of the strictest in the country. We make an extra effort to communicate the rules very clearly since we’d hate for any of our guests to be surprised with an expensive fine on their vacation. Pioneer trail

almost everything was perfect! we did let the owners know that there was a horrible fish smell that never really went away. We had issues with refilling the jacuzzi and wifi/heater issues. The only heat source we could find for the downstairs was the gas fireplace which we couldn't keep running at night so it was very cold down there.

For 6 guest not enough beach towels per person for hot tub and only one set of towels even at a hotel you get more than one set per person. Especially what you paid for rental to be told to do your own laundry while you are on vacation. Not what I feel is very welcoming. It was clean and comfy beds it would be nice to have all beds with a comforter had to get blanket from closet. Fridge door didn’t close on own had to push it shut every time. It was a great location peaceful and beautiful view.

Nice, but needs updating

This house is nice and has a lot of amenities (cooking supplies, hot tub, etc.). However, I wouldn't call it "luxurious" as it says in the listing. It is very outdated (most of the appliances are from the 90's) and there were several issues we had during our stay. We noticed that there were spider webs hanging from the ceiling above the kitchen table, as well as in the corners of the room on the ceiling. There was also a spider web connected from the wall to the top of the TV. When I communicated this to RNR vacations, they said they would let their cleaning company know so they could fix it after we left. So much for the cleaning fee that comes with the rental. The tuner that is used for the TV and the inputs (cable, apple TV, etc.), is very old and doesn't work well with the in-ceiling speakers. When we tried to watch several movies, the speakers were quiet and when we turned the volume up high to hear the movie, the tuner shut everything off. We contacted RNR vacations and they sent someone out to look at it; the result was "we need to talk to the owner to replace this". We were then unable to watch any movies for the last half of our trip. Also, the oven did not work. We had to have RNR vacations come in and bring a table top oven to cook. A day later, the repair shop came in and fixed it. Overall we had to have people come 3-4 times to the house to check on or fix things. I was surprised that we had these issues based on the previous reviews and description of the property. Other than those issues, we had a good time.
