Mareazul is a first world vacation rental concept "Resort Living". Located only 3 km from Playa del Carmen all units are beach accessible.
Mareazul Resort has a huge Infinity pool, with Jacuzzi sections, and is less than 200 meters walk through green path walks and pools that would take you to Mareazul beach.
The resort amenities are among others *Gym with dressing and lockers area, *massage rooms, Zen zone areas to read and relax, Lobby, convenience store, concierge front desk, just a short walk to an 18 Holes Golf Course designed by Nick Price, (additional cost). Massive open spaces for walking and exercise all around the resorts.

Everything was wonderful. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable! We had easy access to the pool and beach - just a quick 5 minute walk away. Our young kids really enjoyed the private pool (it’s really more of a kiddie pool but perfect for them) and the large patio was perfect for drinks and playing cards at night. The location is on the far north end of PDC so it’s quiet and easily accessible (10-20 min drive) to everything you’d want to do in town. There were some really delicious places to eat within walking distance too, in the little neighborhood by the market. I’d absolutely come back to stay again!

This place was perfect! Beautiful interior love the wraparound pool off the deck it was beautifully presented the minute we walked in the door very clean quiet friendly staff At the concierge that were helpful just a few short minute walk down to the beautiful beach it had everything we needed to enjoy our two week stay we would definitely stay there again! Highly recommend this place!

Enjoyed our stay

Our family really enjoyed Casa Azul. The condo was clean and as depicted in the photos and description. The property manager was helpful. The only surprise was that the “private pool” is only about 18 inches deep. It would be terrific for small children or serious sunbathers, but it was disappointing for us who actually like to use pool noodles, etc. The main Mare Azul pool is enormous and uncrowded with plenty of chairs available. We ate at the restaurant by the pool several times, and it was very good. The water was rough when we were there, so we didn’t use the beach much but it looked like they were trying to keep the sargassum cleaned up. Thank you!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful HUGE apartment- I think it could fit 3 families since it has 3 rooms and 3 beds as well as 2 huge sofas. Big 8 person dinning table with view to the personal pool. The apartment is far from the pool and ocean but beautiful walk to get there. This is my 2nd time staying at Mareazul and I have no complaints. You could walk to 5th avenue where there’s the night life from these apartments in about 30-45min.

Everything was clean and furniture was comfortable. Great location with plenty of amenities on site. Rented bikes and went outside the compound. The compound itself is safe and secure. Reception desk was very friendly and helpful. Family friendly location. Peace and quiet, away from party crowds of larger hotels a few blocks away. A big plus for me and my family!

Great place, beautiful private beach

Loved it here … the pool and beach are fabulous. Place is showing a bit of wear on the couches and we had a fridge leak off and on. Jacuzzi is there but doesn’t seem to work. Otherwise it was a great stay! Close to lots of great restaurants, go to chedauris or the market on site for groceries if you want to cook at home. A couple of chaise lounges on the deck would be a great addition. Love it here!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I want to start by saying that our stay here was great. The property itself was spacious with lots of natural light. The living/dining room was large with lots of space for seating. The kitchen's appliances were in good condition with lots of fridge space and access to pots, pans and dishes. The bedrooms were also nice. The master looked out onto the back deck and green space while the smaller room looked out onto the parking lot but both were clean and cozy. While the condo was clean overall, you could tell that the furniture had been well used and were in need a deep clean. There were stains on the couch, dining chairs, bedframes, etc. Additionally, there was a lot of dust and dirty under the carpets and counters.I also want to take a moment to mention our concierge, Jasmine who was very helpful and kind in answering all our questions and quickly addressing any concerns. Additionally the staff at the resort was very friendly and helped with getting cabs and accessing the gym facility.My group would definitely come back to this location but hope to see a few updates.

Amazing condo with the best pool ever.

The condo was perfect for our family of 4. Clean and beautiful. The beds and pillows were great. The on-site restaurant was wonderful. Access to Playa de Carmen by foot our car was easy. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a quiet and relaxed stay.

Beautiful Stay

We would return. That is the best I can say :) There we’re a few hiccups with check in and early check in would have been nice, but since it wasn’t available we explored the property and enjoyed what it has to offer.

Notre séjour à Mareazul a été merveilleux. Nous avons aimé notre condo et son emplacement. C’est un endroit relaxant, accueillant et le staff est super professionnel. C’est très beau et propre et le condo est très bien équipé pour la vaisselle, les chaudrons etc Il y aussi laveuse et sécheuse qui est un atout. Malgré quelques petits inconvénients, je recommande cet endroit fortement et j’y reviendrais sans hésitation! Un gros merci à Monica et Maribel qui ont su rendre notre séjour agréable et confortable. October 2019 Stay

We had a fantastic stay! Our condo was spacious, beautifully furnished, clean & extremely comfortable. There was a large deck and splash pool outside of our unit which we really enjoyed. There's easy access to the picture perfect white sandy beach and the beach club that has terrific food and drink. We took advantage of the huge pool & gym and stopped at the on-site convenience store several times for water, snacks and of course wine. It's a short cab ride to 5th avenue where we enjoyed several nights out for dinner. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we will certainly be back!
