This 3 bedroom dog-friendly townhouse at Alpine Village is a perfect spot for for a summer get away filled with White Mountain attractions, activities and adventures or snow-sports at Loon and Cannon Mountains! On a cul-de-sac near the entrance to the development, you can easily walk into downtown Woodstock for dinner, drinks or groceries.
Inside, enter to the main living area with a large flat-screen TV and AC. Additionally on this floor you will find the kitchen, dining area, washer/dryer, 3/4 bath and option to step out into the back-yard area. Up one level are two bedrooms and a full bath. Each bedroom on this level has a queen bed and one of the bedrooms offers a television and AC. One flight higher, the spacious third bedroom, has two twin beds.

Alpine Village Resort is located close to downtown North Woodstock. North Woodstock offers great dining opportunities including local favorites like the Woodstock Station & Brewery, Merland's and the Pemi Public House. Locally you will find plenty of seasonal and year-round activities to fill your time including shopping, golfing, mini-golfing, amusement parks (including a local waterpark), gondola / tram rides, natural attractions, alpine skiing and snowboarding, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, river swimming (Cascade Park is just a walk away), kayaking, bird watching and much more.

Please note: Alpine Village Townhouses have only one allotted parking space.
Dogs are welcome in this unit, there is a $50 + tax one time pet fee per dog with a max limit of 2 dogs allowed.
Alpine Village 205 does not offer pool or fitness center membership however, 1-month+ memberships are available at either the Nordic Inn Club or the Mountain Club on Loon for a separate fee.
Alpine Village does not offer ski shuttle service.
This unit has two air conditioners: one in the living room, and one in the primary bedroom.
Due to insurance reasons, short-term guests may not use a wood-burning fireplace or stove at Alpine Village.

Nice Unit

The unit was very nicely decorated and lication was great. When we walked in there was a musty smell that is hard to ignore..seemed to be a water leak in tge entryway that possibly is causing this. I purchased air fresheners and spray to try to cover. Other than that, we had a great time!

Upon opening the door, the smell of cigarette smoke was very strong and remained throughout our 4 days in the house. It was really off-putting as the listing said this was a non-smoking rental and I would not have rented if I knew someone smoked here. In reading reviews, there have been other complaints about this as well so do not believe non-smoking is an accurate listing for this rental,On the positive side, the communication with the property manager was great and the location of the townhome was perfect for outdoor activities and walking into Woodstock.

Although there were many good points there was not much ventilatiom and ability to enjoy NH fresh air. There was only 1 window with a screen and the AC units were were outdated, with broken knobs etc, and extremely dirty filters. Also the upstairs A/C leaked water. We only vaccumed the back door mat as the vaccume exhaust stunk so bad we had to open the doors turn on the fan and spray air fresher. Although we did not use the washer, the dryer squeaked and was annoyingly loud. Otherwise sheets, linens, dishes and general condition was clean and neat.

Clean, Quiet, Walkable, & Cool Trip. This was my first VRBO, so my comparison is going to be mainly to a hotel, but overall I had a great trip. No problems getting in with the lockbox. I had to call Spectrum to get the Wi-Fi working, but that only took a few minutes. The toilet flapper thing broke and they were there in about 30 minutes to fix it and a few light bulbs I wouldn't have otherwise bothered them about. My older dog appreciated that it was mostly carpeted, including the stairs. The AC units worked. The bed in the master was old enough to have a no-man's land bump in the middle, but that didn't really bother me. What did bother me was the light permeating the curtains. I like to sleep in on vacation, and I did miss not having some sort of black out curtain option. I realize that it is difficult to have window AC units and window coverings, but I would've really appreciated some other option. I'm not too fancy to turn my nose up at cardboard. I did love being able to walk in to town with my dog and grab a meal at any of the dog-friendly restaurants. The Alpine Village was very quiet during the week, but the parking lot started to fill up on Friday night. This unit is the middle one in a building of 3 units. The neighbors were not loud at all, just more people around. Overall, I would recommend this unit and go there again, but I'd need another window covering to bring it up to 5 stars.

Smells like cigarette smoke and needs major update

This townhouse smells of cigarette smoke as soon as you enter, and every level smells like cigarette smoke. It is advertised as a nonsmoking unit, but renter beware. I used the air conditioning the first few days, then needed the heat, it atill smelled like smoke. Also, the washer/dryer buzzer sounds like a loud fire alarm when cycle is finished. Door to laundry does not close properly, and interferes with back door exit. Cabinet latch under kitchen sink is broken. Upstairs bathroom fan is very noisy and needs to be replaced. Looks like this unit has not been updated since originally built in the 1980ā€s. Carpet smells like smoke and uneven on second level. Alpine Village location is very nice. Close to many area attractions and restaurants. Great location.

Needs updates

The property was nice however the mixing valves in both shower were stuck. Ac so noisy and not installed properly. Leaking into unit. Washer and dryer so loud and compresser in fridge was so loud. My dogs were so scared when the washer/dryer or frig was on. Not the best experience and I have stayed at many other properties. Definitely needs some upgrades for the price.

Perfect location

Overall, we had a wonderful stay - the place was spacious and the host (property manager) was extremely responsive. We had some issues w/plumbing which was dealt with right away. Additionally, there was only one dim lamp in the LR which made reading difficult but again, the property manager came over with another lamp that helped. The place was tired (shag carpets, linoleum floors) but clean. Beds were very comfortable and the place was very quiet considering the proximity to the main road.

Exceptionally clean and well equipped home.

The house was really convenient to all the local attractions. It had everything that we needed. The only thing that would have made our stay more comfortable would have been air conditioners in the 2 other bedrooms. (Only one had an air conditioner and it was 92 degrees) The loft and other bedroom had no screens on the windows. Thank you for allowing us to staying in your home.

Perfectly home like

Nice and spacious for a family and a great location, close to all the summer fun we wanted to explore. We truly appreciated being able to have our dogs with us during our stay so that we could hike with them, and not worry about where they'd stay while we went out for dinner.
