This first-floor condo, located in building 5, offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with beautiful views overlooking Oma’s Meadow. The primary bedroom features a king bed, while the guest bedroom includes two twin beds. For additional sleeping space, the living room does offer a queen sofa bed. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need for preparing meals, and the living room is furnished with a 40” flat-screen TV and access to a private balcony—perfect for enjoying the mountain scenery. As a guest of Sugar Ski & Country Club, you will enjoy full access to our clubhouse amenities, including a heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness room. This is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate after an active day on the slopes.

Please note, this is one of our Economy units and is not recently renovated. It is ideal for guests seeking a more affordable option without extra frills. While the unit does not have a washer and dryer, we do have coin-operated laundry facilities that are conveniently located in the gazebo near Building 6.

If you’re looking for comfort, functionality, and a great location at a lower price point, this is the perfect choice for you.

great place, but communication still tilts too much towards the tower of Babel

Awesome location. Charming decor. No explanation whatsoever, in any medium, regarding how one is supposed to get into the units. Led to a nail-bating arrival at 10 pm Friday night. Turns out, there is a clubhouse and reception desk (closed at nine though), with keys in envelope in cabinet. I would have LOVED it if someone had told me that and/or was available on the provided phone number, at some point prior to arrival.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great condo for skiing. Even on the first floor you have to take steps down to get to the door. Plenty of kitchen ware, but over full as there was not a cabinet that was empty to put the food we brought. It had great heat as we never got cold and the sliding doors were not drafty. The road to the condo was a typical top of the mountain terrain, so you would need chains or a 4-wheel drive to get there.

When sleeping you are trapped in a bowl on both sides. It made it impossible to sleep next to my wife. We both would roll away from each other. We both woke up very sore and fatigued. This is a simple fix... get a new mattress. We would not rent this property again "ONLY" because of the sleeping condition.

After unloading the vehicle, we noted the refrigerator was hot...even though it was running. I called the after hours maintenance number and within a few minutes the gentleman showed up. It was determined our best course of action was for us to move to a different room. The maintenance man was already in touch with Cody (sales/rental rep) and he was seeing what was available. A suitable replacement was found, which was actually an upgrade. The maintenance man helped us reload our gear as well as unload it into the new condo. All was well! My thanks to everyone there for handling this issue very professionally. Stuff happens....stuff breaks...and I do understand that is was just one of those things.Room 513: The condo was very spacious with a well appointed kitchen (which is so lacking in most rental condos). We found everything clean and neat. The beds were comfortable and the two twin beds in the 2nd bedroom was just what we needed so it worked out fine. We were very pleased!

Both showers leaked continuously. We had to close the door so we could sleep. The freezer rack was rusted. The sofa bed has clearly seen better days. The heater in the two-bed room smelled as it burned the dust that had collected there.

Not so sugary sweet

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only good thing about the condo was the water pressure. This unit desperately needs to be updated - the furniture, the linens, the cleanliness, in general. Shocking to spend as much as we did for the condo to have furniture and linens falling apart/torn, a pubic hair on the “sanitized” toilet seat, grass on the couch (which felt like it would completely fall apart when you sat on it), etc. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, but the poor faucet and sink made cooking and cleaning very confusing. Also shocking was a lack of hairdryer - we have stayed in condos, B&Bs, hotels, motels all around the country and even in Europe and the Caribbean and we have always had a hairdryer. Unfortunately, you can only Band-Aid things for so long; this condo needs a complete gut.

We had to bring $1K in cash and won't receive the deposit back for up to 30 days. Normally you just put down a credit card. Only downside to the trip.

The location was a quick walk to the new pool/hot tub area. Remember to bring your pool towels! The unit had not been turned over when we arrived and the front office/housekeeping addressed it fairly immediately so we went out for dinner to give them some time. The view from the condo was fun for the kids to watch snowmakers and skiers leaving the Oma chair. Oma’s meadow is a blue so my new to skiing kids needed ski school and a drive to the base each day. The condo has several issues with furniture. The back top corner of a lazy boy has torn fabric and staples sticking out so we put a towel over it to protect those walking by it. The other lazy boy is broken and difficult to extend/retract. Kitchen had adequate amount of cookware, sheet pans, dishes, kettle and coffee maker. Bedspreads/duvets are old, torn. The heating is very sensitive and fickle so we erred cooler. I wish there were more hooks to hang the snow clothes, pool towels and our bath towels. We got creative. We could not turn off the overhead fans in either bedroom. The shower pressure was great. Overall we had a great time, we were comfortable and everything was overall ok.

Reviewer Comments: Great location at the top of Oma's lift, and the hot water and electric heaters worked. Nothing else good to say about this property. It appeared that this unit was last updated in the 1970s. Beds were terrible, maybe from the 70's as well. The walls were damaged and needing paint. There were light bulbs missing from light fixtures. The kitchen was functional with one person in it but became overcrowded with two people and if there was a third person in the kitchen all work had to cease until at least one person left. I'm sure they cleaned between guests but the age of everything made it feel a little dusty/dingy. There was no wood provided for the fireplace and none available on the property for purchase. We had a two-night reservation and did not stay the second night.
