GORGEOUS VIEW - 7th FLOOR OF SUGAR TOP - SAVE BY RENTING Thru VRBO - GATED RESORT WITH INDOOR POOL AND HOT TUB!! Our unit has been renovated, and is one of the best units in Sugar Top!

Large (1100 square foot) condominium high atop Sugar Mountain. Here you look out over several states at an elevation of more than 5000 feet. The beautiful scenery is viewable from each room or on your own private balcony. Condo is nestled in an alpine-like village, Banner Elk.

At night, view the lights of village below - heavenly sunsets, very romantic - peaceful, serene setting. The building also has large, outdoor deck. Convenient 24 hour front desk and 24 hour security.

There are many activities in the area. From the first floor, step into the All Seasons Recreational Center with its indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and exercise room. Enjoy all of this while feasting on the mountain scenery through windowed walls.

The views from the condo were beautiful. The intensity of color in the fall leaves along with the vibrant colors of the sunsets were absolutely stunning. The beds were quite comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with appliances & cookware. Our host was quick to respond.

Beautiful views including front row seats for 4th of July fireworks

Great space, beautifully decorated and well appointed. Central location to lots of places - Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, etc. Checking in was easy and the shuttle service was very convenient. We will definitely book again when coming back to the area.

Perfect for our anniversary trip.

Our stay was great! The view from the balcony is pretty perfect overlooking the slopes. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed from pots and pans to wine glasses. The space is decorated super cute and feels homey and comfortable. My only complaint is, I wish some of the lights were brighter. Not a really big deal, just something I noticed. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here and I could see us staying here again in the future!

The condo was well kept and beautifully decorated! We are somewhat locals and have vacationed in the banner elk area several times. We frequent Beech/Sugar mountain during the snowboard/Ski season and this has to be one of the best trips due to the views and overall fall atmosphere. Sitting on the balcony drinking coffee in the morning or a glass of wine watching the sunset was absolutely heavenly. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

MEH - clean but datedā€¦and HOT!

We were excited to plan a trip to somewhere new and since we were going to be traveling over July 4th we thought seeing the fireworks from our balcony would be an added benefit. The view is the best thing about this condo. For years, I have seen this building on top of Sugar and always wondered what it was like. I would advise anyone that if you like cooler sleeping conditions, do not stay here in the summer. The condo was HOT and I mean unbearable at night. So bad that we actually had to leave a day early because no one in our family could sleep. They did provide fans (2 portable fans plus ceiling fans) but the tenperature in the condo stayed at almost 76 degrees. We even had to sleep with the sliding glass door and windows open and it was still this hot. I read the reviews and looked at the amenities and did not see any mention of the unit (or building) not having AC. According to the owners it is detailed in the notes section of the amenities but I still havenā€™t found it. The owners did mention it in the check-in information sent the day of check-in but that did me no good because I could not cancel at that point. The lack of AC is really a big deal that should be clear in the listing before booking. I would have given 3 stars but when I messaged the owners about the situation, they offered to refund a very small portion of the price but post checkout reneged on their offer. The condo was clean but VERY dated! A little moldy in the bathrooms too. Will not go back!

Nice property - current construction July 2023

Nice view with the exception of the scaffolding on the sides of the buildings. The property is in the process of being repainted and balconies sanded down to the metal for repainting. Other than the constant noise from their work, the stay was nice. Luckily, we were not at the property at all times. The area is beautiful with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy.

Beautiful view

It was very clean and decorated beautifully. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The owner was fabulous. The view from the place was absolutely breathtaking. The biggest down fall was the parking. You had to be shuttled from parking lot to the condo. They let you drive to front door to drop off luggage then back down to a parking lot. On the upside you didn't have to wait long for the shuttle. I think at most was 5 minutes. I would definitely stay again. Other than parking it would be 5 stars.
