Located in the picturesque town of Sawyer, MI stands this immaculately built new construction home. Welcome to Wheel Tree Cottage! This four bedroom, 2.5 bath home on a secluded one-acre lot has everything a renter would want on their getaway. You will love the gourmet kitchen complete with an industrial six-burner gas stove, ice maker, wine fridge, two coffee pots along with coffee bean grinder, and much more. Kick back and relax in family room with the 70" flat screen TV or cozy up to the wood burning fireplace. For the off-season renters, you will appreciate the under-floor heating that is throughout the first floor of home. Open concept family room/kitchen with plenty of room for both seating and entertaining. The kitchen island seats up to five while the dining area can seat an additional nine more. Spacious all weather screened-in porch as well that seats six for dining plus additional seating. Second floor bunk bedroom also has a flat screen TV for the kids. Backyard boasts a gas grill along with outdoor firepit, perfect for roasting s'mores on those starry summer nights. Now with a brand-new heated pool (15 1/2' x 36') and eight-person hot tub! For the techies in the group, there is a Sonos sound system that will play your favorite tunes in main room, back porch, and back patio. Have an electric car? No problem, the heated garage is also equipped with a car charging station! Just a short distance from Warren Dunes beaches as well as downtown Sawyer.

All the amenities you would expect in a quality rental including private heated pool, hot tub, internet, cable, gas grill, A/C, all weather enclosed screened-in porch, wood-burning fireplace, outdoor firepit as well as new outdoor shower, gourmet kitchen, under floor heating, electric car charging station in your heated garage, ping pong table and much more! Pet friendly too (one dog allowed!).

Family Reunion

Had a great week in Sawyer. House was great, around the corner from the State Park beach. On a pretty busy road, but a short walk into a quiet neighborhood.

Sawyer Thanksgiving

Beautiful, spacious home. Loved the great room - family all together with plenty of room to cook, eat, and watch football on Thanksgiving Day. Sawyer a great area too.

Amazing Home!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking our meals there. The outside porch and firepit/backyard were highlights as well. Plenty of room for our group to spread out. The kids loved the bunk room and we all loved the location. Highly recommend!

Sawyer summer trip

Spectacular home was perfect for our group. I was so impressed home with the cleanliness. It was filled with all the supplies one could need including beach towels and laundry supplies. The pool, fire pit and hot tub were superb for entertainment. The guidebook answered any questions about the property and the area. Thank you so much!!

Pristine and Cozy

This property is immaculate and has all the comforts of home. The owners are easy to communicate with and helped us check in for a last minute getaway. This house is close to New Buffalo and Four Winds. We will be back!

Beautiful, spacious property.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by other rental properties. It is close to a couple of great restaurants and in the geographical middle of 2 very popular spots on the coast - New Buffalo to the South and St. Joseph to the North. It had everything we needed including some essential cooking spices which you almost never see in a rental property. The kiddos e joyed the pool and hot tub. We will certainly return.

Luxury near the lake

We stayed here with another family of friends and the house was amazing! The kids LOVED the bunk room and pool! The adults loved the clean updated home with wonderful sight lines (kitchen bumped up to a screened in porch overlooking the pool and hot tub). Had all the amenities and WiFi we needed. Warren dunes was right down the street. Absolutely had the best time with friends here, thanks for sharing the space with us, amazing lifelong memories were made! We hope to come back soon!

Great family vacation in harbor country!

Spent a wonderful week with children and grandchildren. House has open kitchen, dining and family room with screened in porch attached. through sliding doors. Kitchen was well equipped for our group of 8 adults an 5 children. Very close to Warren Dunes. Jason was very responsive to any requests. Highly recommend for large and extended family vacations.

Felt like it was our own home

Practical, convenient, well-stocked, all-around 5-star property. My wife, our 3-month old, and I enjoyed a 3-night stay over MLK weekend. Could not have been happier with the property and with management. Fireplace worked great and there was plenty of firewood. Kitchen well stocked with cook/dishware, etc. TV/WiFi is great. Wet bar with ice was super convenient. Highly recommend.

Great Long Winter Weekend

House was great - open layout that facilitated family time. Kitchen fully stocked with all needed cooking equipment (great stove!). Bathrooms, bath towels, all clean and plenty available for our group. Nice, easy to use fireplace. We didn't spend too much time in the outdoor spaces but the kids did play in the spacious back area in the light snow, which they enjoyed a lot. We love the Sawyer and being far enough from the major interstate to completely get immersed in Harbor Country yet having easy access to it to get to downtown New Buffalo in 12 minutes or Three Oaks in a similar amount of time, made the location super convenient. Would definitely stay again with a similarly sized group.

Clean and beautiful!

We had a great stay here! It was very clean upon our arrival. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking needs. Plenty of living space for a large group. Definitely recommended and hopefully will go back.

Great location, Rustic Charm with Modern Conveniences

Wonderful Memorial Day weekend stay. Location is perfect -- 5 minutes away from downtown Sawyer (Greenbush Brewery, Sawyer Garden Center, and Warren Dunes State Park). Amazing property. Kitchen is a delight to cook in. Three-season room is great. Bedrooms are spacious -- we were only one family, but could fit three families with six kids easily. Management company was a delight to work with. We hope to return this fall!

Spring getaway

We had a wonderful experience at this location. Excellent location, spacious and comfortable. This place has spoiled us for future rentals. We had everything we needed and a bit more. Great beds and quality linen. We sometimes bring our own pillows but no need this time. We had a a lovely kitchen to cook in. The covered porch was a great escape from the bugs. We are ready to book again.

Great Experience!

We live in the area (so we already knew the location was great) and rented this property for family. The property was even nicer than it appears in pictures, the living space in particular was awesome, and the property managers were really kind and responsive. Highly recommend.

Fantastic property inside and out with easy access to Lake Michigan!

The property was great - both indoor and outdoor aspects were accurately described in the listing. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and in great condition. Main living area was great size to have the whole family hang out together for meals, etc. Access to public beaches were short drives of 5 minutes away. Overall great experience!

Beautiful, Spacious, Relaxing

We stayed at this home during the pandemic, to get out of the city and give our kids more space to run and play. The photos don’t do it justice - it is beautiful! We had four little ones and five adults and it was the perfect house for our group. Many spaces for relaxing and a big yard for the kids to play in. We enjoyed the screened in porch immensely. The kitchen is very well appointed - we didn’t go out to eat due to Covid19 and cooked every meal. Everyone agreed that they want this kitchen in their own home! Beds were comfortable, lots of towels provided. Fire pit was fun and the outdoor shower is amazing! Very fast access to Warren Dunes. Neighborhood is nice for kids to explore and walk around in, with a big wooded area just across street. We hope to be back - our children all cried when we finally had to leave.
