Great condo at reasonable price !

Just minutes from everything, and everything you'll need already there, made for a simply great stay. Nicely upgraded furnishings and info needed for entry and exit process all well communicated. Views after a heavy snowfall are fabulous too. Would recommend and stay again !!

Great Rental

9.5/10 - It was a great experience. Karsten was great to work with and very responsive. Two things to note for future rentals: 1) Consider putting a note on the check in or the advertisement that renter needs to provide your own wood. I expected there to be a small pile of wood available upon check in. After talking to Karsten, I realized that I needed to go to the store to provide. It wasn't a big deal, but it was a bother to head back out of the unit to town again just for a couple pieces of wood. Would have been good to know this in advance. Also, it would be good to have some simple firestarters available. 2) I probably misread the listing, but I was under the impression we were within walking distance of a bus stop that would give us a ride to vail or beaver. Again, I probably misread this or understood, but parking prices at vail and beaver were not expected. Again, a great rental and great experience. Just something to consider for future.

Perfect for us

Almost unheard of is a rental with sharp knives as if the host actually cared about your culinary experience. This place was great for us. Could not be closer to daughters wedding venue, close to HOA amenities, bike, hike trails etc. Karsten was the best. Wish I did not live 2000 miles away.

Eagle-Vail Delight

Our main goal in Colorado was for a wedding. To our delight, this property was central to many hiking trails in the area. The home was perfect for us. Communication with the property manager was quick and very helpful when needed. We will be back.

Beautiful cabin

Excellent communication with owner, perfect location, we was in between Beaver Creek and Vail Resorts, just a few minutes of distance of both!!!

Fabulous Condo

We were exceptionally pleased with the condo and our stay. We found that the condo perfectly matched the description in the listing and the location worked perfectly for getting to and from the mountain. Nancy (the property owner) was exceptionally accommodating and regularly communicated with us to make sure our stay was going well. We highly recommend this property and will definitely book here again!

The property is pretty big and clean. Karsten Baker, I believe, he is the owner of the property, is very helpful and responsive to any question we had. We did not have any difficulty with parking. He gave us all information about the Interstate 70 that was closed due to fire. Now it is already reopened since Monday morning August 24th

Great Stay!

Property was as described - had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, very well equiped kitchen. Nothing was lacking. Thanks so much Karsten for being very accomodating and responsive to all inquiries. Convenient to both ski areas and local shopping.

Great weekend getaway!

My family and I stayed in this condo over a weekend for a wedding. The ceremony was in Beaver creek and the reception was in Vail Village so Eagle Vail was the perfect location in between. The condo was open and bright just like the pictures. The beds were very comfortable. Great communication with Karsten prior to check in with a quick response time to my questions. I highly recommend this condo.

Cool Colorado weather in a great location

The photo makes the unit look larger but we found it to be perfect for our needs. The kitchen was nicely equipped and the pantry provided needed spices, etc. Complimentary Starbucks coffee was a nice touch. It was the perfect choice for my husband and I to stay in while we 'escaped' the heat of Texas in August. The unit can accommodate four adequately. The location makes Beaver Creek, Vail & surrounding small towns all very accessible.

Lovely Eagle Vail condo

We stayed here for a week in early August. The condo is very nice, clean and extremely well furnished. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking equipment needed plus a very generous pantry with lots of ingredients and condiments. The location is convenient, right off Highway 6 with access to 2 different grocery stores 5-10 minutes away. Karsten was a great host. Information about the condo was provided in a timely manner. In my experience renting through HomeAway, Karsten was the most responsive homeowner, answering questions almost immediately. I would highly recommend staying at this condo and would do so again in the future.

2.5-3 star property

The main floor is spacious and the owners kindly provide duraflame logs for the fireplace. It is nice that there is nobody above or below you so the unit is quiet and provides privacy. The owner is friendly and responsive to questions. For two couples that want to come up here to ski etc. this unit would suffice. I would not recommend this place for people with young children because the railings do not meet current code and a small child could fall through the railing. There are some basic amenities that I usually find in a vacation rental that are missing in this unit; these include televisions in the bedrooms, hairdryers in the bathrooms, fans for the bedrooms in the summer, a back door that opens easily - the door at this place sticks, outdoor furniture etc. This is an older unit that has been refurbished, but it still needs a bit more TLC. Due to its age and size, the bathrooms are very small. The listing says there is a pool and tennis courts, but these are provided for members. If you want to use the pool there is a fee. For one adult and one child the cost was $18. Because of its location, you have to drive everywhere and deal with the parking challenges of Vail and Avon. I think the owners are trying to care for this place, but they need to stay here for a few days to get to know the eccentricities of this property. Because of its location and basic design limitations, it will never be a five star property, but it could become a four star!

Accuracy is one of our 4 Core Property Standards and we can confirm that this property is accurately depicted in the listing and photos so guests have an idea of what to expect. We also provide the location of the condo so guests can ensure it fits their needs prior to making a reservation. We don't advertise in the listing that there are TVs in the bedrooms, but we apologize if that caught you off guard. Additionally, the homeowne is quick to respond to suggestions and now provides a hairdryer in the bathroom and fans in the bedrooms. Perfect!

Exceeded our expectations!! Super comfortable, cozy and clean! We have two 12 y/o boys and the location couldn't be any better! Access to the pool, basketball and tennis courts, playground and plenty of green grass to play some whiffle ball too. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!!

Nice place, needed a little attention from property management.

The property was in a good location and nicely appointed in terms of furnishing, sheets, towels, etc. There was no toilet paper or tissue though, and when we went to use the dryer it was full from the last party and full of lint. It would have been nice to have those things attended to prior to our arrival.

Cozy Convenience for a ski vacation !

We stayed here during Christmas week with our 2 college children for a fun week of skiing. The condo is updated beautifully, clean and modern and is perfect for a family of 4. It is very easy to ski Beaver Creek with a 5 minute commute. Parking was a breeze and the owner was very attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend for a Beaver Creek or Vail vacation.
