The hot tub was heated at sunset, which gave a few hours to enjoy the hot tub. Unfortunately, the hot tub drained unexpectedly for our last three days. The owners were unable to fix the problem.

This property is a true hidden gem for anyone looking to escape the crowded tourist hubs of the Riviera Nayarit. Perched on a secluded hilltop at the southern end of Lo de Marcos, it offers a level of peace and authentic Mexican style that you simply won't find in the more overrun areas like Sayulita or Puerto Vallarta. The views from the pool and jacuzzi are spectacular; we spent hours basking in the heated water while watching surfers catch waves in the distance and tropical birds soaring over the lush jungle canopy. These are the kind of "forever memories" that define a great vacation.One of the highlights of our stay was renting the golf cart directly from the owners, which made exploring the area both easy and exciting. It allowed us to zip into town for supplies and restaurants or head down to the stunning beaches to the south in just minutes. Unlike the packed sands of neighboring towns, these beaches were remarkably private and pristine. The hospitality was equally impressiveā€”Polly was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to arrange a horseback riding excursion with Lenny, which turned out to be another major highlight of the trip. Between the world-class views, the convenience of the golf cart, and the seamless local recommendations, this stay was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.

We loved our stay at Casa Blanca. We needed a reset after a stressful couple of months and we got it here. We were away from it all, but rented a golf cart to get everywhere we needed to go.

Great Location!

The house was very spacious and the views were spectacular. For our family of 4 it was more than enough. The golf cart is nice to have making getting into town and the beach easier. Our host were great and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this house.

Mexican Christmas in paradise

We booked Casa Blanca to host our family Christmas. Flying out our adult children from Australia. The house provided an amazing space and location for us to relax and lap up the beachside village. Having the beach and surf literally at our doorstep made for an easy holiday- loved the golf buggy as was easy to get into the village and beach. Polly and David were great host.

Wonderful beach town villa

Our stay at casa Blanca in LDM was amazing. Paulie (the host) reached out ahead of our trip to make sure everything was ready and give us directions and she was there to greet us and make sure our stay was comfortable. We rented the golf cart and were able to use this to get down to the beach with towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards every day and to run into the town for meals and shops. The house is everything as advertised with an amazing pool, hot tub and hill top view of the beachThe beach in LDM is a gem and we will definitely Come back here in the future

Stunning Property

This property has a stunning view of the town and the Pacific both inside and out. The pool offers hours of fun and relaxation. Don't plan a lot of extracurricular activities, because you will not want to leave this oasis of tranquility. Very large, clean and comfortable home. I highly recommend it.

Best Location Amazing Views Gracious Hosts

360 degrees of amazing views. We lived in the The pool and patio. The ocean snd jungle views were incredible. You sit up high and watch the world. A few points lost due to uncomfortable living furniture and low water pressure in the kitchen. Would not stop us from going back. Being able to rent the golf cart directly from the owner was super convenient. Hosts are kind and had great recommendations.

Amazing!!

My adult kids and myself had an amazing week at Casa Blanca. The view is probably the best I've ever seen. We even saw whales from our balcony. We loved the pool and the short distance to the beach and into town. We cooked breakfast and a few dinners in the villa and enjoyed walking into town for dinner the rest of the evenings. Polly and David were both excellent hosts. I would highly recommend Casa Blanca.

Perfect Girlfriend Getaway

We had an amazing stay at La Casa Blanca! Polly was a fantastic host and we liked having her in the casita on the back of the property. The pool overlooking the sea was were we spent our time! We had chef doris come in and cook two amazing dinners for us. You can ind her at chefdorisrivera. Sayulita and San Pancho are an easy drive and fun to explore. Serenity at Casa Blanca

Our group of two families of four (including 4 teenagers) really enjoyed our week-long stay at Casa Blanca. Polly was so helpful and available to answer questions and gave good recommendations for restaurants and activities. The pool, hot tub, and panoramic views of town, the beach, ocean and sunsets from the house are the best part! We also enjoyed exploring Lo de Marcos, especially the beach, which was so much less busy than nearby San Pancho and Sayulita. Thank you Polly and David for your hospitality in making our stay at Casa Blanca so comfortable!

Casa Blanca-What a Gem!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely, spacious Mexican villa. Our favorite thing was the commanding vistas of the coastline, town and surrounding jungle hillsides from the pool deck. The home was beautifully appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house has two wings and tons of outside space, so it felt very roomy for 4 adults, but would easily accommodate more. It was fun having 2 restaurants within close proximity- one the beach- with great food and live music in the early evenings. Polly and Dave were outstanding hosts- always available if needed- and we loved getting to know them. Weā€™re already looking forward to our return next year!

Amazing place!

Casa Blanca has the best views in town! Beaches and town are a short golf cart ride! Polly was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and excursions. The pool is amazing! Gave a 4 for accuracy of listing. The house does not have AC. It was very warm the first day/night but once the windows were all opened there was a nice breeze. Extra fans in bedrooms would be beneficial at night. Thanks for the memories hopefully, we will return one day!

The pool and the views are spectacular

We loved our stay at this house high on a hill in the lovely and friendly village of Lo De Marcos. We were two couples and the two wings separated by the kitchen and living area gave us all some much appreciated privacy. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and all opened up to the patio. We enjoyed playing pool in the evenings after dinner and there is lots of space to spread out. By far our favorite part of the accomodation was the pool area with its amazing views over the beach and ocean. We really didn't want to leave this private oasis. We couldn't get the propane barbecue to work, but meals in town were delicious and very affordable. We loved our meals at Carolina's. Thanks to Polly for the warm hospitality!

Spent Xmas through New Ye...

Spent Xmas through New Years in Casa Blanca bringing the whole family and had an excellent time. Many of the superlatives expressed in previous guest comments capture the great qualities of this place. Truly is a one of a kind property. Have rented vacation homes in PV, Hawaii and other vacation areas and believe it would be very difficult if not impossible to match this house for the price almost anywhere else. Very easy to get comfortable there, situated perfectly just above the beach and town with the 2,000 square foot plus great room, infinity pool and spa. The beach at Lo de Marcos is outstanding, kid friendly, good body surfing, decent board surfing, tidepools. Great town with lots of tasty seafood. Finally excellent and friendly hosts in Bill and Mary. We will be back.

Incredible Week

I can not say enough great things about our stay at Casa Blanca. The view really is as good as the photographs. The location is the perfect distance from town to be quiet but still close enough to be so easy to access. The location also gets great air flow so even though there is no AC, the breeze and the fans make it very comfortable. The kitchen has a regular fridge and a separate one for cold drinks, very handy. They have beach chairs, an umbrella, outdoor chaises...the list goes on. Everything was incredibly clean. Polly was staying in the casita at the back of the property during our stay and was such an incredible host. She communicated very well leading up to the trip and helped us sort out anything we needed throughout (but also very generously left us our space). A truly lovely human! We plan to return. How could you not. Thank you for everything!

A hidden piece of heaven

We could not have loved our stay more at Casa Blanca. We did not want to leave. The house is perched up on a beautiful hill with amazing views of the ocean and surrounding hills and only a short distance to the beach and town. The pool and hot tub are amazing and is where we spent all of our time. There was so much useable outdoor space that we barely spent anytime inside. The house is spacious and has everything you would need. Great kitchen for cooking, plenty of everything. Good water pressure and temperatures throughout. Fans and screens everywhere so air moves through the house nicely. Polly and David were so helpful and kind and gave us lots of great tips for our stay. Lo de Marcos is a hidden gem with few Americans and lots to love. Great restaurants, uncrowded beaches, safe and easy to navigate. We are already planning our trip back. Shhhh, donā€™t tell anyone else about this amazing location so it retains its charm and authenticity!

Exquisite views

Four of us including 2 teenagers stayed at the lovely Casa Blanca overlooking Lo De Marcos and it's beautiful beaches and mountains for 10 glorious days this spring. The casa was clean, comfortable, and spacious - ideal for 2 families or 1 family wanting 2 sleeping areas separate and private from one another. The views and pool were the focal points of the residence for us and the pool was kept clean and at a perfect temperature. Bill and Mary were great hosts - Bill thank you for all the assistance whenever we needed it and all your tips on places to go and things to do. As for Lo De Marcos, what a charming little village. Still quite authentic Mexican. If you don't mind that there is only one american restaurant (Luna - which is awesome) and you won't find a great margarita in town, then you'll love it there. But there are many great restaurants (and great margaritas) in nearby San Pancho & Sayulita (15 & 25 minute drives away respectively). If you like horseback riding, then go with Lenny - he's a great guide and makes it a special experience. The people of Lo De Marcos are friendly and we felt completely safe there. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a more authentic mexican experience than what you would get in Puerto Vallarta or Sayulita.

Casa Blanca is the best

Shhhhh, don't tell everyone about the best house in the best little Mexican town! The house is perfect. The pool and views are next level. The wall to town is quick, amazing beach, fantastic restaurants. We're coming back because of the giant iguana, the birds, the views, the hosts' hospitality and the memories we made. Amazing Views

This property has the most amazing views. The pool and hot tub was where I spent most of my time and I loved falling asleep to sound of the ocean. The hosts were so nice and the house has everything you need. It was just me staying there but this house is amazing for large groups. I highly recommend staying here.

The Star of Lo De Marcos!!

This villa is definitely a 5-star property, along with the owners David and Polly, who are also 5-star! We rented this 3 bedroom villa in Lo De Marcos for two weeks and couldnā€™t be happier. The villa itself has an outstanding view of the Pacific, and is superbly equipped. The kitchen was fully outfitted for all our needs and had a complete supply of pots, pans, utensils, and other accessories. From the pool table (love the pool table) to the round bar, the satellite and smart TV, beach towels, folding chairs, and boogie boards, anything you could need to enjoy some relaxation time was there. The star though was the wrap around deck with pool and hot tub that overlooked the Pacific- unbeatable! Many days we didnā€™t even leave the property, just lounged around the deck and pool enjoying the gorgeous view. Even seen whales cavorting in the ocean from the deck using the binoculars that they provided. If we did want to go down to the beach, it was a short 8-10 min walk, where there were four beach restaurants all clustered together- with Tomatinoā€™s being our favourite! Great beach to walk and swim as well. David and Polly were exceptional hosts. They live in a small casita at the rear of the property and ensured that we had everything we needed, offered to assist us with any arrangements required and ensured everything at the casa was running smooth. Theyā€™re very friendly and it was always nice when they dropped by to ask how things were. We usually needed up having some great conversations. Would definitely go back to Casa Blanca!

Beautiful property in a beautiful area

Perfect place if you are looking to get away from the bustle of the more touristy coastal towns. Wonderful view over the ocean in a small town that is big enough to have the items you need, but small enough that you don't feel crowded.

Stunning property

We felt like kings and queens up on the hill. The view from the infinity pool is unreal and we spent lots of time reviewing the view! Casa Blanca has the best location in the whole town. We look forward to returning
