BEERSHEBA AWARD* WINNER! This 3 Bedroom house with attached cottage (rents separately) is a pristine Victorian beach home erected in 1879 that has been completely reconstructed with modern amenities including central HVAC, hardwood floors, upscale fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, microwave, and washer/dryer. The bathrooms are beautifully decorated with natural elements of porcelain, stone and glass. Beach locker and 5 beach badges included.

The house has many amenities including WiFi, flat screen TV with Cable, DVD, laundry room with washer and dryer, bath towels, linens, beach towels, and 5 adult beach passes are supplied. Beach locker for chairs/umbrellas available Memorial Day thru Labor Day. The house is located on a lovely corner lot in the desirable south end of town; two blocks from Main Street shops/sidewalk cafés and seven short blocks to the beach. It offers quiet surroundings, street parking, and an easy 8-minute walk to the beach. The home has been decorated in soothing colors to create an ambiance of relaxation and whimsy. Plan a romantic getaway for 2 in the cottage or make it a fun family vacation for up to7 guests in both homes! New and fully supplied laundry facilities are located in the basement level. Comfortable seating is provided on the porch for relaxing in those lazy breezy summer evenings. JULY and AUGUST 1 WEEK MINIMUM (SATURDAY to SATURDAY).

An outdoor garden and mahogany front porch opens into a lovely living space and a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc. Amenities include two beach passes, towels, linens, beach chairs, beach towels, etc. Both units are private and do not share any common space.

The house has a keyless entry system for our guest's convenience. The access code is provided before guest arrival. *BEERSHEBA AWARD is an annual award from the Historical Society of Ocean Grove honoring efforts to restore and preserve historic homes and businesses.
Rest and Relaxation awaits you!

Our home has a maximum occupancy of 5 guests. Additional guests are strictly prohibited and a fee of $100/person/night will be accessed. Parties and large gatherings are strictly prohibited. Guests in violation will need to vacate premises immediately with no refund.

Lovely beach house

Such a great home - was a perfect weekend getaway. The house was clean and well maintained and had everything we needed. Great town and short walk to the beach! Would definitely come back!

Great Week in Ocean Grove

The property was in a good location, not too far from the beach and on a quiet street. The property was well maintained and clean. Enjoyed the front porch to hang out drinking coffee in the morning or relaxing after a beach day at night. The beach locker with chairs and umbrellas to use was an added bonus.

Wonderful home in Ocean Grove!

We loved our stay at this sweet home in Ocean Grove! The house is so perfect that we came back for a 2nd time this summer. It’s a perfect place for our family with the beautiful porch, space downstairs, & 3 bedrooms upstairs. With 2 young kids, I really appreciate how clean the house is. Tim and Lis are such wonderful hosts. The house is so well equipped that there is very little we need. On the rare instance we reached out with a question, they were super responsive & helpful. So grateful to have found such a perfect spot in Ocean Grove. We look forward to returning in the future!

Fantasy beach getaway

We absolutely loved this gem of a house in Ocean Grove. The place was very clean, which I especially valued bc I have a 1 year old who was crawling around everywhere. The house is a beautifully historic home that has been restored so amazingly well that it feels like a new home in many ways. The porch is a perfect spot for relaxing & soaking up the peaceful vibes Ocean Grove offers. Tim & Lis were wonderful hosts & communication was super easy with them. The beach locker & badges were additional great perks. Our family had a wonderful stay & we highly recommend staying here.

We’ve now stayed at this property twice with our family and it’s been an amazing home base for a week of fun down the shore. The best part is the location, and the house is stocked with anything you’d need (towels, beach chairs/umbrella, beach passes, kitchen wares, etc.). We will be back again!

Great summer rental!

The house was absolutely immaculate and the porch was lovely. Everything we needed included beach badges were waiting for us when we arrived. The space is cozy and was just enough room for our group of six.

Great house for a small group

From start to finish, our hosts Lisbeth and Tim made the reservation, check-in, and stay effortless. The home is beautifully decorated, well stocked, and centrally located from beach and Asbury Park. Hope to return again !

Mini family reunion

The house was nicely done; quaint but not fussy, well organized and well equipped. The layout fit our needs perfectly. We had our 2 sons and 2 granddaughters. The girls enjoyed the trundle beds. Our brother and sister in law live locally. Easy walk to the beach and downtown. Stocked beach locker added to the convenience. And the weather was perfect!

Perfect Summer Home

We loved our stay at this property. Location was central, everything was less than 10 minutes away by car. The beach and restaurants were within walking distance. The rooms were nicely decorated and were simple and spacious. Enough electrical outlets around the house for charging phones and electronic devices. Nice shower with stone floors. Appreciated the little details in this house. We got to hang out on the front porch while having our taco dinner. Plenty of street parking. We want to go back to this house!

Beautiful house and perfect location

Great place for 6 people. Very close to beach boardwalk in Asbury park (5mins). Very nice house. Only 1 full bath and a half bath. We enjoyed our trip with a group of girls to celebrate a friend’s 40th BDay.

The Perfect Retreat by the Sea

This house was really great. We were impressed with the décor and cleanliness. We were especially impressed with the way in which the house was equipped. Everything we could have possibly needed was readily available, especially in the kitchen. Even the refrigerator and the cupboards were stocked! The hosts obviously went to a lot of work and thought to make us feel very comfortable. We would recommend this house to anyone and look forward to returning for additional stays in the future!

Lovely cottage

The cottage is charming and well equipped with everything you need for a beach vacation. It was clean, very tastefully furnished, close to everything and we never had a problem parking in front of the cottage. It's a lovely neighborhood, quiet, treelined and safe. The owners were very responsive to every question and any issues that came up. I would absolutely come back for another stay.

Beautiful historic home with all the modern conveniences of a new home

From the moment we walked in, the high quality of this space came through clearly. Everything about the space was done extremely well, from small touches like the towels and hand soap to the excellent appliances to the finishes in the bathrooms. The cottage was both functional and beautiful with all the charm of a historic home but all the modern conveniences of a new one. Communication was excellent throughout. We've rented many vacation homes and this was definitely one of the best!

Charming beach home! Perfect for smaller families!

Homeowners, Tim and Lis were an absolute pleasure to talk to via email and phone. Their remodeled home in Ocean Grove, NJ was the perfect size for my family of five. The home was extremely clean and charming. Tim and Lis provided everything you would need for a pleasant, "homey" stay, including kitchen-ware, wifi, towels, etc. The house was about 7 blocks from the beach, but was a quick 8 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to Ocean Grove's adorable Main St. My family and I would definitely stay again next summer!

Excellent, Beautiful and Worth Every Penny!

Hi Tim, I want to thank you and Lis for allowing us to make your home our home for the five days we were there. We have never met the owners of any houses we’ve rented and I can say we were blessed to meet you. It was a divine appointment. Your house is beautiful and reflects the passion you have for the things that you have been blessed with. I have recommended this house the others in my church and have spoken highly of our experience with you and your family and your home. The house is more than a rental it was like being home and you and your wife made it feel that much more with your hospitality. I am going to make this a yearly rental if possible and when I can’t I will be referring it to those in my church. I want to thank your family so much.

Another amazing week in Ocean Grove

Tim and Lis' home in Ocean Grove is so lovely. Modern, clean, and light-filled, our hosts have a great eye for detail, providing their guests with many thoughtful amenities which truly enhanced our stay. The landscaping is also quite beautiful - we really enjoyed coming "home" each afternoon and sitting outside on the porch and admiring the flowers. We are looking forward to staying here for many years to come!
