Dear Hugh, We appreciate your stay with us over the Christmas period. However, we must address some discrepancies regarding your reservation. Our records indicate that your booking was made for one guest for a five-night stay, yet upon your departure, our housekeeping team discovered evidence suggesting a full occupancy of twelve guests. This discrepancy is particularly concerning given our prior communications, including two emails specifically requesting the exact number of guests. Upon reaching out to you, you admitted to the presence of additional guests beyond the originally booked one. In light of this, we adjusted your reservation to reflect the correct charges for one night at the rate for twelve guests, trusting your statement that the additional guests were present for only one night. The bond provided was utilised to cover the expenses associated with the unauthorised guests. Despite our efforts to resolve the situation fairly, we are disappointed to note your continued insistence on misrepresenting the facts. Our housekeeping report clearly indicates the occupancy of all beds and use of amenities, corroborating your acknowledgment of a full house upon departure. We are puzzled by your persistence in denying this reality. We strive to provide a welcoming and accommodating experience for all our guests, but we cannot tolerate dishonesty or harassment. We kindly request that you refrain from further unfounded claims or harassment, as it is not conducive to an amicable resolution. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Thank you for your feedback. We really appreciate it. The issues raised are being attended to. Sadly our housekeeper of 20 years retired in June and we had a fill-in cleaner for July who did not meet the standard, who has now been replaced. We expect Amaroo Mountaintop Villa to be back to its 5-star review status. New curtains have been scheduled to be installed, however, the property has been booked back to back since travel restrictions eased and will be attended to shortly. All our properties are adhering to COVID-19 cleaning procedures to ensure a high standard of hygiene and safety. Unfortunately, as July is the busiest month of the year, we were not able to offer a late checkout has it takes two cleaners to prepare the property within 6 hours. Just to clarify you are paying for a nightly rate, not a daily rate which the same as hotels.

We are sorry for your experience and would like to say that all issues raised have bee remedied.
