The cottage is perfect for one-two people, but the living room sofa/bed will accommodate one more nicely...perfect for one-two night visits but may be tight for longer stays. The driveway will accommodate 2 cars which makes for a perfect tailgating setting. This secluded cottage has been praised by visitors for being an inviting and magical hideaway, feeling large and spacious for its actual size (14' x 34'). It is located in a very quiet neighborhood of professionals and academicians, offering a soothing "retreat" for temporary or possibly long term professional stays. It is hidden steps away from the U-M "Big House", numerous downtown restaurants, bars and shops, plus The University of Michigan's main campus and University Hospital...virtually all within walking distance. Auto, public bus or train provides easy access to Detroit, Lansing, the Detroit Metro International Airport or Chicago. The neighborhood consists primarily of professionals working at the University of Michigan, the Michigan Hospital network,, Google and various research companies located in Ann Arbor and Detroit.
