Your personal deepwater dock holds large boats and is an ideal home for your private boat or as a pick up / drop off location for chartering a boat during your stay.

The property has a large front and backyard for children and is one of the hottest spots for fishing or to observe many species of wildlife including dolphins and manatees right off your private dock! Catch and cook your dinner in your oversized kitchen or outside on the grill. Eat your delectable delights either outdoors as the sun sets or inside in air conditioned comfort!

Take the short stroll to the beach, or take advantage of the complimentary beach shuttle. On most nights and weekends, listen to live music on the beach and enjoy the most breathtaking sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico.

Property is within a short walk of Corey Avenue shops, restaurants, beach bars, supermarkets, cafes, gas station and pharmacy, and is a quick drive to larger shopping complexes.

Amenities: The master bedroom with a king size bed overlooks the pool and waterfront. The second bedroom with queen bed has ensuite with standing shower. The huge 3rd bedroom with king bed is separate from the 2 main bedrooms and perfect for tucking the kids away. Fresh linens, bath and beach towels and beach bags available for all guests. Enjoy cable TVā€™s in every bedroom, bar area and the living room and Wifi throughout the entire house and pool area. Central air conditioning allows you to escape the Florida heat (if desired) and a washer, dryer and dishwasher ensures you are self sufficient. State of the art grill, fishing rods, board games, bar area, hammock, and pool chaises will keep you and the whole family entertained throughout your vacation.

Just 30 minutes to / from Tampa International Airport and 25 minutes from St Petersburg airport. Fantastic house, location and hosts!

Great house in a perfect location with water, beach and restaurants all walking distance. Fishing and kayaking from the dock in the backyard was awesome! Tons of wildlife with dolphins, manatees, lizards and birds to entertain for hours. Hosts Kevin, Mariana and Andrew were super responsive and helpful with the house and area recommendations. Canā€™t wait to go back!!!

Fun Times!

This property is the perfect location, the house was big, spacious and spotless. The property manager Kevin brought my grown boys ( in their 20ā€™s) over fishing poles on Christmas Day. They fished their little hearts out on that dock catching catfish, salt water trout, blow fish, a humongous crab and a hammer head shark. They had so much fun fishing it was hard to get them to leave the house. We will definitely book this home again. Thank you Again Kevin for taking the time to bring those fishing poles over on Christmas Day. They really made the vacation for us, un-expectedly. =)

Fabulous property in an amazing location

My husband & I spent two weeks at this lovely home in its amazing location. We had the best holiday as the house had everything we could possibly need, and there was just so much to see and do in the area. The outlook was like paradise, and with the pool and hammock we could want for nothing. The house was so nicely presented. The owners had obviously gone to a lot of trouble to make sure all our needs were met. We had friends come and stay and they all felt the same. I would highly recommend this property to couples or families as there is a wonderful beach, fishing, good restaurants close by and at St Pete, and the wonderful Salvador Dali museum.

Great location and views

This is a very comfortable bungalow with well stocked dishes cookware, glasses etc. It's a convenient location to walk to the beaches and restaurants. The view of the inland waterway in the backyard is great and the dock is a good place to watch birds and dolphins. The beach chairs provided were an extra bonus for the beach! The welcome information package was very comprehensive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay ( a family of 5 adults).

The home has a beautiful waterfront backyard. The inside is small but well kept.

The property was very well kept. The back yard is wonderful, with the private beautiful pool and the fishing dock on the inter coastal. There was no shortage of marine life and boats, which was always fun to see. The kitchen was well stocked and the layout of the house was nice. Our main complaint was the ā€œbiggerā€ bedroom, which essentially is an add on room that houses all the electricals and air units along with the washer/dryer. That room stays much warmer than the rest of the house, especially if any laundry has been done, and made for sleeping hot as well the constant noise of the on and off of the air units. The ā€œbedroom with the viewā€ is nice but small and you have to go out of your room to get to the bathroom. Overall, the house was great and the close proximity to restaurants, beach, and stores was an added bonus. The owners were easy to get in touch with and responded in a timely manner.

Awesome home on the water!

We stayed here for two months during home renovations. House is very clean and cozy. Loves the location....very quiet street and close to downtown. The view/backyard/pool is amazing. My kids loved fishing off the dock. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend!

Restful waterfront views with private pool.

We were there in mid-March 2017: 6 middle-aged siblings who left our spouses at home to enjoy some quality family time. The house could not have been more perfect. Located on a quiet street with a waterfront view facing east, we relished the sunrise every morning with coffees on the deck. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything needed for meals, and the outdoor grill was a bonus. A Sunday market a short walk from the house provided us with fresh bread and produce; several cute restaurants were also within walking distance. We hardly used our rental car. Dolphins, pelicans and various birds kept us entertained as we "northerners" basked in much needed sunshine and light breezes. The owners were instantly available for Q's and very responsive but nothing was needed during our stay. Parts of Fla can be quite busy with tourists and traffic but this little gem is hidden on a quiet street, just perfect for rest and relaxation. We hit the St. Pete beaches only once because patio, pool and lovely waterfront view (with hammock!) were so peaceful we didn't need to "leave home" to have fun. Highly recommended for folks who seek a well appointed home that provides a quiet oasis in which to refresh and recharge.

Hammock Bay is truly an OASIS!

Itā€™s a quick ride from the Tampa airport and a perfect location from the beach and Downtown St. Peteā€™s. Once we arrived, Kevin the home manager gave us a warm welcome and a tour of what the home had to offer. Right when you walk in, the backyard steals the show. Itā€™s a great yard for a big group to grill, enjoy the pool, the grass space, and lounge on the pool chairs- all at once. There's a wonderful large table outside where you can set up breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Wildlife WILL pass by (took selfies with some of the birds). The inside of the home is decorated beautifully and has everything you need. The beds are well equipped and if you need more sheets, pillows, or blankets- youā€™ll find them in the closets. The living room area is also great and has a comfortable sofa. As for the kitchen, AMAZING! Youā€™ll find enough room to cook and all kitchen essentials are provided. The home was EXTREMELY clean and well kept. If you ever want to pick up a few things from a supermarket or drug store youā€™ll find them nearby (walking distance). Chill, a restaurant a few blocks away has a great Sunday brunch selection with a buffet and live music. The 5 of us truly enjoyed our stay at Hammock Bay and I know you will too! Highly recommend and will book again!

What a great property! Great Christmas/New Year's Trip

We had a great experience with this property. From the day we reserved our stay the owner was in contact with us letting us know what to expect. A few days before arrival we were contacted by the property manager and he went through everything we needed to know. When we arrived it was just as advertised, if not better. Wonderful stay, wonderful owners and a great overall experience for our family.

Wonderful week in South Pasadena

8 of us spent a week at this property (4 from Chicago, 4 from Denmark). The house was absolutely fabulous. Location was quiet but close to everything. We did not go out to eat at all but chose to cook at home after making one trip to Costco in St. Petersburg and multiple stops at the nearby Publix. We were constrained by a 7 month old in the group for eating out. The pool was excellent and the dock was a delight every morning and evening for catching small catfish and other fish. House was stocked with everything we needed. We never used the grill but kitchen was up to the highest standards of two amateur cooks in the group. Kevin responded promptly to a few questions we had but, really, there werenā€™t too many. We had a great time and it was a truly memorable vacation for all. We would come back again without hesitation.

Paradise Found for tough critics!

We had a fabulous family vacation at this house. We traveled here with our 3 kids (Ages 9, 11 + 15) to celebrate the fourth of July week and had a wonderful time! The house is exactly as pictured and Kevin and Mariana were extremely helpful hosts and provided us all the information we needed at all times. We loved waking up and enjoying our breakfast outside and relaxing in the pool and seeing the dolphins swim past. Our favorite day was having a boat pic us up for the day and spending it on the water. We sailed up to a sand bar and hung out all day. We got back in the later afternoon and walked to the beach to watch the sunset. It was a perfect day all around. This place has something for everyone even our teenager!! We have already booked our next stay!!

Not a very restful vacation :(

Unfortunately our stay at Hammock Bay was not as restful as we would have wished. On arrival at the front of the house, it appeared much smaller than we had anticipated ... however when we went thru the front door the vista from the living room out across the pool and onto the dock was very impressive, which took away from our initial disappointment. The house was very clean and the beds were made up nicely. The bathrooms were very very small, but clean. The kitchen was a good size and clean. Our problems began when we went to bedā€¦.because we had two teenagers (a boy and a girl), we put them in the two bedrooms beside each other and we took the 'third' bedroom. This bedroom was described as a big room which it was, but what was not said in the description is that it houses the air conditioning unit behind one of it's closet doors, behind another closet door is a washing machine and dryer and behind another closet door was sweeping brushes and buckets and sun chairs. So what this room really is, is a utility/bedroom (a converted garage). The air conditioning was so noisy neither my husband or myself could sleep, we eventually had to bunk in with our teenage kids, and that was how our sleeping arrangements remained during our week long stay. We did advise Kevin that we had a serious problem with the noise level in this room, and he promised to send an engineer. After two days the engineer had not materialised and we said to Kevin unless the engineer could physically move the air conditioning unit to another part of the house, he would not be much help to us. The BBQ is positioned in a very confined space at the side of the house, so whoever is cooking is not able to interact with the rest of the family. Finally, there are steps at the front and back of the house, we consistently were tripping on these steps because they are camouflaged by being painted the same rusty orange colour as the surrounding area, not sure if this would be ideal for elderly clientele. Overall, this was not an ideal house for our vacation.

Relax!

Great location, everything very close by. Enjoyed drinking our coffee every morning on the dock. House had all the amenities you would need for a nice relaxing week. Mariana and Kevin were quick to respond to any questions or needs. Great relaxing vacation!

Fantastic House!

We loved the Hammock Bay property! We felt like we had our own little resort in Florida. Great pool, beautifully landscaped and very private, with an amazing view on the bay. We had all sorts of wildlife visitors of Dolphins, cranes, pelicans, and flying fish! The house itself was beautifully decorated and the perfect amount of space. It had a TV in every room, two great central areas, one that included a great bar area overlooking the pool. We had 2 families, and we were able to put all the kids in the one large room with the blow up mattress which was great quality. The kitchen had every amenity you could possible need. You could walk to the beach or restaurants, but we also drove to other areas as well. The Pass a Grille area was probably our favorite area, and that was just a short drive down the road. We had a dedicated person to help answer any questions that we had, and that was really wonderful to have such a personal feel with any questions on the house and the area itself. We also had a great bottle of wine left for us that we enjoyed! We would highly recommend this property.

Lovely vacation home

This house is as pictured, but the amazing bay is not that green. This home was amazing and work well for our two families, four children total. Ages of children 10, 8, 8, 5. I loved waking up every morning to grab a cup of coffee and sit on the dock. We loved enjoying all the amazing wildlife including cranes that would visit daily, pelicans that would perch on the dock post, and the dolphins that would swim past us. We loved swimming in the warm pool and lounging on the nice comfy lounge chairs. The kids loved the hammock. They house was very clean and updated. They had beach chairs and towels for us to take to the beach. There were restaurants and bars in walking distance of the home. We did have our own vehicle to get around since we had children with us. The house is set within a quiet community. There was a Winn Dixie grocery store several blocks from the home we visited often. The house had everything we needed to feel comfortable. I would definitely go back and encourage any of my family and friends to visit this home. The owner was quick to respond and pleasant to work with. Kevin who was our contact while we were down there was so helpful. We made a lot of wonderful memories. We had a great experience in St. Pete's thanks to this awesome home.

Amazing Vacation Home

The property was absolutely perfect in every way. The view from the living room through the back patio is amazing. Each day we saw dolphins in the bay and there are plenty of fish right off the dock. We were able to have our fishing guides pick us up right from the dock and within 15 minutes we were catching dinner for the evening, could not have been more convenient. The home has all the essentials from dishware ( plastic by the pool, glass indoors), all cookware, towels, Bluetooth speakers and a great grill. Additionally, the beach chairs come in handy for the short walk to the beach. I recommend the convenient free beach taxi service, they arrive within 5 minutes, give you a call when they are out front and zip you to the location of your choice (we tipped 5-10 dollars based on location). We had 4 adults and three teens and the house was great for all. the kids slept in the back bedroom off the kitchen, utilizing a king bed and provided air mattress. Great for teens ,as beach is less than 10 minute walk and safe, with mostly neighborhood travel and many crosswalks to cross over Gulf Blvd. The owners kept in contact prior to our arrival and during our stay. The detailed arrival/departure instructions made everything very turnkey. Getting around to other locations is very convenient. John's Pass (shopping area) is a 10-15 minute drive and Pass-a Grill (quaint town) is 10-15 minute drive. Winn Dixie and Publix are within 5 - 10 minutes. We could not have been happier with our weeklong stay and would definitely rent this property again!! Steve and Terrie

Very nice house on the bay

We had a great time at the house. There were plenty of towels, dishes, glasses, etc and it was very nicely decorated. There was even an occasional dolphin sighting from the dock!

We were very pleased with this rental. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and a great location. It has the feeling of "home." The view is spectacular. Mariana was very easy to deal with and made this vacation worry free. We would highly recommend it.

A Little Slice of Heaven

This place is wonderful! Our family of six had a joyful ā€œRibsgivingā€ in November 2015. Better than any resort we have stayed at, it is a beautiful home right on the water. Even the towels are luxurious! The interior is sumptuously decorated with beautiful bedrooms, bar, dining room and huge, well-appointed kitchen. But honestly, we spent most of our time outside by the pool, which has plenty of sun seating and a big shaded table for family dining. The landscaping is so dense that it makes the pool and backyard perfectly private. After a day of football and relaxing by the pool, we used the big grill to finish off six slabs of babyback ribs for a fantastic family meal to remember. We also spent a lot of time at the end of the dock enjoying the peace and jumping fish, often spotting dolphins playing in the bay only 15 feet away - magical! We walked to the public beach for sunbathing, and the kids swam and combed the beach for shells - they were so excited to find an intact sand dollar! The third bedroom was perfect for tucking the kids in early so that the adults could relax in the main space for a nightcap. The owners obviously care about this property as it is meticulously maintained inside and out. We highly recommend it and will be booking again ourselves soon.

Great Labor Day getaway!

We stayed for a week in this lovely home and RELAXED! The owner, Mariana, was helpful prior to arrival and was in touch at times during the week to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our stay. The home is immaculate and every room had a designer's touch. The photos of this property true to the house -the home is perfect in every way. The house had all the necessities we needed for a week vacation. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have a peaceful, quiet, stay on the waterfront!

A piece of gulf coast paradise!

I can't even say how much I loved this space! It's just a piece of paradise. You can walk to the beach and bars and, even better, you can have a yacht pick you up right in the back yard to go anywhere and do anything! The feel and atmosphere of the house made me feel so comfortable - I didn't want to leave to go anywhere! So worth the trip and money! I highly recommend you choose this place even if to just spend an afternoon enjoying the sea breeze and lounging in the backyard hammock (with a margarita of course :)).
