Such a great place to stay. Really close to the beach and includes everything you need for a beach day. There are even toys of the little ones. We took walks every day and there is a ton of stuff close enough to walk to.

Wonderful!

We had a great week at the Salty Shrimp. Weather was cooler but still had the sun most days. The cottage is so close to the beach just a short walk. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host Bridgett was wonderful. We enjoyed the bikes the deck and the front porch. So close to restaurants and Jockey Ridge State Park. We will definitely be back. Thank you Bridgett for sharing your home!

Wonderful stay

We loved starting at this VRBO home and would book it again! Wonderful location (1 minute walk to the beach), plenty of beach times available to use in the home and great communication from our host.

This was our second year in a row to stay at the Salty Shrimp! The location is so close to many great restaurants, & a short walk to the beach from the home. Everything was so clean, very well-stocked with essentials. We would not hesitate to book here again!

Great spot for family vacation!

We stayed here for a week and loved it. Great location and amenities within the home. The host was communicative and made sure we were taken care of. We would definitely stay in this home again!

We had a great stay in Nags Head! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to take advantage of every break in the weather. While the weather wasn’t ideal for most of the trip, being so close to the ocean allowed us to squeeze in beach time between storms. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. Overall, a convenient and comfortable spot for a beach getaway!

Perfect Getaway Spot!

The cottage was spectacularly clean, so cute with the retro kitchen. Great location, and the host, Bridgett, was very kind and responsive to our inquiries. Oh and the pumpkin bread in the welcome basket was delicious!

Perfect location!! Short walk to beach! Restaurants close enough to walk. Perfect size for our family of 4. Nice and clean and lots of great amenities! We would definitely stay here again!!

Great stay!

We love the cozy and convenient Salty Shrimp. We have stayed there a number of times. The hosts are very kind and responsive. The location is a short walk to a stairfree beach access and near many restaurants and other attractions. The house is comfortable and cute. We enjoyed evenings relaxing in the rocking chairs on the screened-in front porch. We have had wonderful stays there.

Enjoyable Beach Cottage

We would definitely stay here again! Great location, very clean, & well-stocked. The owners were very easy to get in touch with, not that we had any issues at all! So many nice touches, including a great welcome basket. Looking forward to coming back here next year!

Home away from home

There is a very good reason we keep coming back to the Salty Shrimp year after year. The house is always very clean and comfortable. The central location to either Corrolla or Hatteras or any point between is perfect. We have tried a few other homes in the area and each time regret not going home to the Salty Shrimp. Thank you Bridgette and Andy. We look forward to next year.

Great Stay

Cozy and comfortable home. Walking distance to the beach was perfect with two little children and a dog. Home was as listed and the welcome gifts were great. Would highly recommend for small families or group of friends.

Super close to the beach

My husband and I stayed here with our 5 year-old daughter and two dogs. We loved this property. It was very clean and very close to the beach access. Loved the screened in porch. Close to lots of activities and restaurants. Will definitely be looking to book this house again in the future.

We had an incredible time at the Salty Shrimp! The communication with the host was exceptional and the welcome basket was a nice surprise. The cottage was clean, charming and in a great location. Being so close to the beach was so convenient! We loved riding the bikes around the neighborhoods and stopping at the little shops along the way. Evenings on the porch was nice way to end the eventful day. We would definitely come back!

House was spotless, sufficiently stocked with kitchen items for cooking & eating in & plenty of outdoor seating for lounging on back deck or screened front porch.Loved that it was located within walking distance to beach, grocery store and Nags Head Woods.If you like cozy cottages, ease and walking this is a wonderful choice.

Perfect Place!

The Salty Shrimp was the perfect location, clean, inviting, and comfy. They had accessories for our dog, board games and toys, and lots of beach gear. We had such a great time here with access to so many shops and restaurants in the general area, and even though it rained every day of our trip we made it to the beach every day with just a super short one block walk. We will be back!

Amazing getaway

We truly enjoyed our time at the Salty Shrimp.The house had everything that we needed and it was a quick walk to the beach. Our host Bridgett was amazing! We were there during the tropical storm and Bridgett stayed in contact with us to make sure everything was okay. We look forward to going back in the future and highly recommend this rental!!
