The Pleasant Lake Residence hosts a spacious and airy floor plan. A wood burning, stone fireplace graces the 18 x 24 foot family room. A large dining/kitchen area features a generous kitchen island, oak hardwood floors and overlooks Pleasant Lake. Tiled flooring covers the back entry, main floor bath and laundry room. One bedroom with two twin beds and a study complete the main floor plan. An open staircase leads upstairs to three bedrooms and two more full baths. The master bedroom is a generous sized room with a king size bed. The ensuite features a Jacuzzi tub. The finished lower floor offers ping pong, foosball, a card table, a gas fireplace as well as an 18 x 24 bedroom and a full bath. The lower floor has a sliding glass door that exits to the lakeside.
Swim, kayak, paddle board or fish on the lake from May to September. Listen for the call of the loons early in the morning, for the croak of the frogs in the evening, or watch the eagles soar above the north side of the lake on a warm night. Gather around a bonfire at the end of the day to relax and gaze at the stars. Watch for deer moving through the trees down to the lake to drink or gaze at the glorious array of colors during the fall. Ice fish, skate, cross country ski or snowmobile on the hard ice or snow during the cold winter days. Scavenge for mushrooms in the surrounding forests by Mesick during the spring time.

The Manistee, Muskegon and Pine Rivers all have canoe liveries for hours of fun by raft, kayak or canoe.

The White Pine Trail offers a paved trail for bicycling from Cadillac to Tustin.
Five miles due west of the Pleasant Lake Residence is a trail head for miles of snowmobile trails.
The Gopherwood Society holds folksy music performances at the Elks Lodge in downtown Cadillac during the school year.
Fall Color Tour Train Rides leave from Cadillac and travel to Boyne in the beginning of October.
