Great Time In Kalbarri

An easy 15 minute walk to town which was handy. House was nice and clean and exactly what we thought when we booked.

The property was quite old. No wi fi. The front security door is not working. It cant be locked by the key. The main bathroom door and toilet door can't be locked. The fittings are quite old. The shower water flow is very slow. I suggest the property should be renovated before listing out.

Just a house

It's just a place to stay. Small things..... no hair dryers in bathroom, a full length mirror would be great in one of the rooms and would be appreciated if they allowed more than one roll of toilet paper for a three night stay and I would say it needs a good clean, especially the bathrooms.

Spacious retreat from the late March heatwave

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Surfside Retreat was perfect for the needs of the four adults in our group. Thanks to the air conditioning and ceiling fans and the proximity to the beach, we were able to see and do everything we had planned to do in Kalbarri despite the heat. Our stay in Kalbarri was the highlight of our nine day road trip.

A Week's Retreat

The house was nicely furnished, finished, quiet area, near the beach, but a good distance from the shops, and not too far either. The house is relatively spacious without being too big, pet friendly. I would stay out this house again in the future.

Much needed Holiday

Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with the house, it was clean and spacious also in a good location.We booked for 7 nights and offered to stay free for an extra night which was great. we end up hiring a pontoon on the extra day that we stay and had a fantastic experience on the river. so thank you.

Spacious and comfortable

Surfside Retreat is spacious with a good floor-plan. Beds were comfortable and the position is convenient. The property is on a T-junction and so there was traffic noise in the main bedroom. Not so much in the 2 minor bedrooms. The property was overall very clean. There were some maintenance issues that were reported to Contessi which they were going to fix after our stay. Most did not impact on our enjoyment of the property except for the BBQ - which did not work apart from the sideburner. We were told that the owner was replacing the BBQ - so that will be great for the future! Overall the property was excellent!
