Reviewer Comments: I’d advise you to bring your own frypans and bbq utensils as the provided items are basic and old - the complex has seen better days too (having stayed many times pre-COVID) but the pool and in house playgrounds are a big winner for little kids - a few of the highlights (such as the outdoor movies) have closed, which is really sad, but it was still a great trip

Kalbarri Escapes

The ground floor unit was clean comfortable. The only negative would be that some of the equipment needs updating - especially the bathroom fan which is extremely noisy. There was no contact number we could see on the information if things didn’t work. Otherwise all good and we enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My unit was very run down as were all in the complex. My shower/ hot water system was no more than a trickle unfortunately. Was near impossible to have a warm shower. Didn’t let it ruin the trip though. Kalbarri is amazing and the real estate agent managing the units was great. Just really run down facilities.

Mould on the shower ceiling and cracked light switch (taped up). Easy fixes. Unfortunately only 3 out of 8 bbqs at the swimming pool area were working, which created lengthy waits to cook dinner.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall pretty good. the only comment is that the exhaust in the bathroom was virtually non-existent. it is clogged up with that much dust and dirt that it is simply not working. Strata management needs a big wake up. we stayed in another nearby unit for the previous 3 years and the path next to the adjacent playground still has more sand on it than in the playground.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Apartment 106 is very tired and needs updating. Kitchen is small with no oven, whole complex looks like it needs a capital injection. Bathroom in need of extraction fan and beds are old and soft. Location is great, close to river and cafes. Pool is clean and large suited to small kids, half the BBQ don’t work and games room was closed. Ok if you’re staying for a night or two but we booked for a week and left early.

If we holiday in Kalbarri at other times during the year we request this unit also. It has everything we need and is always clean. This year there was a new outdoor setting too which was excellent. We love the location as it's close to the pool and playground.

Booking confusion

I searched and found the accommodation on another website but when I rang a contact number was told that I had to book through Stayz. I was also told that I could not book direct. However, after booking through Stayz I rang the Kalbarri Accommodation Service and was informed that I could book direct. This confusion ended up costing my wife and I almost $200 more than I should have paid. Not happy

Misrepresentation personified.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this Resort in it's early days and again some years later and enjoyed it immensely. Unfortunately there has been very little attempt at renovating since that time. The photo depicting the Unit is not what the property looks like now. Overgrown weeds, rubbish, paint peeling off the building walls both inside and out. It was horrible. The four electric hot plates were all rusted and did not look safe to use, the sink taps had the paint peeling off and slowly oozed water, the plumber came to stop an oozing tap (s) in the bathroom, there was no ceiling light in the lounge area so it was impossible to read, the standard lamp only had one globe working and the maintenance lady said she would try to get us a second one but it never turned up along with someone to fix the curtains so that they didn't gape and allow privacy from pool users, only one outside chair for two guests and the table was nearly eaten through with rust and then the bathroom fan ceased to work and the bathroom is only a very small room. A coat of paint on a few walls does not hide peeling paint and we still wonder about the six garbage bags stored in the shelving in the two bedrooms?? It looked like scrunched up linen - clean or dirty?? who knows?? No spa available, washing machines and dryers broken down, no one gave us a Census Form but luckily the Resort Office took pity on us and gave us one - but they were only given a small number for their guests booking direct through them. Resort run down, no maintenance and the Ray White 4 and a 1/2 star rating on Unit 106 is blatantly misleading and they should not be allowed to advertise in this manner. I spoke to them twice about this but no one seemed to think it mattered. Ray White were asked about the Unit initially when the property we had booked through them was damaged in the cyclone and the description given did not match that which was delivered. Do these people even know the product that hey are selling? Deeply, deeply disappointed!!

Was easy to book Hotel was close to beach shops and a beautiful restaurant peles This room would be perfect for a family huge pool and play area

Fantastic family getaway

We had a lovely time at the Kalbarri Beach Resort, Unit #106. The kitchen was fully functional, and the bedrooms and bathroom were tidy upon arrival. We appreciated having the washing machine in the unit! The best part was the walk-out back patio that led right to the pool and a little playground which kept our 5-year-old daughter entertained! We loved walking to the foreshore, and Gorges Cafe behind our unit was really good! The property manager was fantastic. They provided a high chair for our son, helped us when we locked our keys in the unit, and happily helped us find accommodation last-minute during a school holiday. We will be back! :)

Brilliant for the kids!

We recently stayed at Unit 106 in the Kalbarri Beach Resort. We have 2 little girls 5 & 3, so proximity to the playground, pool and cafes is a must. Being a ground floor apartment is so good too. The unit could do with some love, new shower head would be awesome, and some more kitchen ware would make our cheese platters etc nicer though all in all for the price and location is was brilliant. We will be back!

Great for the family!

We had a great stay at Unit 106 at the Kalbarri Beach Resort. Great location and this unit had everything you would need to enjoy your holiday. Highly recommend for your future stay in Kalbarri. We will definitely be back!

Everything you need!

Great place. Well located within the resort. Unit is very neat and tidy and well looked after. Had everything we needed for our stay. Very happy. Would definitely stay again!!
