This neat Yurt is 15 minutes south of interstate I-20 & Talladega Speedway between Birmingham AL and Atlanta, GA. Sleptā€™s 8 people.Located on beautiful Logan Martin Lake which is known for fishing and boating. Must be 25 to rent this property. No parties, loud music or lewd behavior. Respect the RV community. The Pacific Yurt sleeps 8. Couch lets out to a full size bed.has a private bedroom with two twin beds or place together for 1 king, a loft with 1 full mattress and 1 queen mattress. Heating and air. The kitchen has granite counter tops, stove, refrigerator, regular coffee maker & microwave. Charcoal grill on the deck. Bathroom has a stand up shower. We provide clean towels and linens for the beds. Deck is over looking the lake. No animals allowed. The yurt is made of Vinyl and one swipe of a paw can do a lot of damage. No smoking inside of the yurt. Check-in time is 3 PM and check out time is 11 AM. If you have a problem with these times just let us know but the yurt is very popular and demand is high and we need time to clean and wash all linens. Rent a boat at one of the marinas on the lake. The park has community boat docks, boat ramp and white sandy beach. This is a rural area so pack accordingly. Outside fire pit. This property is not available to rent past 7 consecutive days. We do not rent it out for months or years at a time. THANKS!

Perfect simple getaway!

My friend and I loved the yurt - set on a hillside with a spacious deck, beautiful lake view, and private fire pit! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom exceeded expectations, and it was a great experience. Highly recommended!

Adult Getaway

We have never stayed in a yurt before but this place exceeded our expectations and was the perfect mommy/daddy get away without the kids. Beautiful view of the lake and a yummy restaurant just minutes away. We will definitely be back!

Cant really say enough about this place. From coffee on the deck in the morning through adult beverages by the fire pit at night it was all enjoyable. Our host Susie was remarkable. There was plenty of room for four adults. Overall stay was a 10 on a scale of 10

Great place

It was a cute place to stay a very cool experience to stay in a yurt. It would be more ideal to have a golf cart to rent while staying because the Peking situation is not very clear and it isnā€™t a walk i would want to do a ton. Other than that it is a great place to stay I would stay again!

We enjoyed the yurt. The beds were comfortable and the view of the lake was nice. The yurt had everything needed. Would have benefited from more information on where the beach and fishing areas were within the RV park. Would have liked access to a golf cart. Overall we all did enjoy our stay.

An Amazing Stay In This Yurt

We just finished three nights in this amazing yurt. The pictures, while accurate, just canā€™t capture everything. There is actually a lot of room, and every inch has been utilized perfectly. The owners have gone to great lengths to organize and provide all the instructions needed to have an amazing stay. It is truly clean from top to bottom. The view is awesome. We followed their advice and rented a pontoon from Coosa Island Marina. That was great advice. Yes, we will return.

Great trip

Overall the trip was great. We had a problem getting into the gate initially but once we were in, the great experience started. We tried to make the experience as close to actual. Camping as possible so we cooked mostly on the outdoor grill and the campfire. One of the issues that we had was the fact that it was really cold both nights we were there and we could not get the 2 ac units to work even following the written instructions. There was always an error code. We slept both nights with it freezing in the yurt but accepted it as we were sleeping outside in a tent if were did actual camping. Overall amazing experience though. Recommend anyone take a trip up there.
