Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was nice, however we came in and needed to clean up bugs on the floor, near the windows. The furniture was good, however the outdoor patio furniture was not in good shape. There were two high chairs, and no outdoor table. Being ocean front, (although the deck is small) I would suggest new outdoor patio furniture. We arrived and there were very few towels, and no towels in the kitchen. We were able to go over to Stubbs and pick this up.

A few things needed attention, but were addressed promptly. Overall it was awesome. Fish District takeout on the balcony was the best. Plan to return next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view is beautiful! The condo not that clean. Couch and chair dirty. Electrical needs overhaul. Baseboards rotted and doors and screens too difficult to open ( rust and old) not stocked well with dishes or silverware , only 3 days of trash bags and dishwasher. Your guests should know you can watch them shower while eating breakfast. A little TLC would make this spectacular!!!!!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rent a condo in Solana Beach every January through February in order to visit our grandchildren. Over the course of 10 years, we have seen the monthly rental prices along South Sierra more than double. First we find out what is available, then we look at the price and choose the least expensive unit. Stubbs seems not to have control over the interior of the units. Some owners prefer to go "bare bones" in which basic necessities in the unit are not there. I then call Stubbs and they will call the owner and ask if they can get me some more dishes, for example, and a Stubbs employee will then go out and buy what I need. Tyler, Kevin and Jen will do everything in their power to help you. The units are always surface clean but the rugs may need cleaning or the bathtub need caulking. Some owners just want to collect the rent. Stubbs is trustworthy, professional, extremely helpful and very friendly. We use their services very often.

The view was my favorite part of the condo. The kitchen is well stocked and the bed is very comfortable. Overall a great stay!

The blinds in the bedroom are broken. The carpet throughout the condo needs to be cleaned. We have rented a number of other condos through Stubbs which were in much better condition than this one.

Breathtaking Views and Amazing Location

Never disappointed with the properties they offer and this "Shore Thing" provided just what we needed to unwind, relax and enjoy a much needed break. We love the Del Mar Shores Terrace property amd the beach access opens to the most amazing beach. The property is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. We walked to shopping and dinner every day. We will be back again. We love Solana Beach and will continue being repeat customers of Stubbs and all the properties they offer...and this one did not disappoint. You will be mesmerized by the breathtaking views.

Owner has neglected obvious needed updates

Cons: dated bathroom, mold In grout, tub/shower difficult to get in and out of. Rain came in through ceiling and window in living room during our stay!! Will not stay in THIS unit again. This is so unfortunate as we’ve stayed in another unit in this complex and had a very positive experience.

Quiet retreat

Although the location is perfect the condo itself needs work. It is dated and the carpets are dirty and worn. The kitchen cooking supplies were minimal or not even supplied at all. We love coming to Solana but would not rent this condo again.

Great little place

We had a great time. Management was very helpful and very easy to work with before and during our stay. The view was incredible. Furniture has been upgraded from the pictures so it’s even better than the pictures. It is a great location to get down to the beach and the pool.

Overall this apartment was very nice and we would stay again. But the neighbors above (not sure if they were guests or live there) were so loud running and stamping on the floor, that this was more than annoying us. And from my point of view ( as a german) I would have refurbished the windows and balcony door already.

Forced stay review

Management insisted on the review even though I did unsubscribed from emails. Before you book the property you have to sign contract agreement where management is not responsible for anything. They are even not responsible for providing you with accommodations that you paid for. You are driving into some uncertainty. We had a couple hours of rain on the first day and the window was liking inside. Apartment arrangement is poor. The only place where you can change/take off your dirty with sand shoes is in a middle of the light carpet dining room or bed room. HOA inform us that we were clogging their sewer system with the items that we are not posses. Other then that everything was OK. Location is good with ocean view, accommodation is clean with full kitchen (bring your sharp knifes if you planning to cook). The personal in the office was friendly.

The photographs of the LR furniture are not up to date; the furniture is fine but way different than the pictures. 2. The glassware and dishware were subpar at best. 3. There were no kitchen towels and there were several maintenance issues, which were all taken care of by the property manager.

Covid Checkin

The property was in an amazing location. The listing agents (Stubbs) were great to work with during the check-in process as well as answering any follow-up questions that I had while staying at the listing. It was slightly dated in appearance but was more than comfortable.

Beautiful Location

The place was floor to ceiling view of the ocean. We enjoyed the view and the location. We did not know the pool heater was not working when we checked in and the restroom by the pool was also not available. The hot tub was great. We loved having a designated parking space. Overall great stay
