Truly one of a kind recently renovated historical home located in Eastside downtown Pensacola.
This home features many modern upgrades in addition to the original 1918 character include soaring 10' high ceilings, large new windows throughout and original heart pine floors. The house features a large open concept living kitchen and dining space, three bedrooms with comfy beds, updated bathroom with walk in shower and a stunning custom kitchen. Home has a unique comfortable feel with vintage furniture & artwork including many antiques.
Unique to most homes in the area, Sunshine has an awesome jungley backyard full of palm trees, native oaks, cameleas, bamboo and azaleas. Grill out on the deck out back or head over to Palafox St and enjoy everything downtown has to offer or hop in the car and enjoy the scenic 15 minute drive across the bay to the famous emerald water and sugar sand of Pensacola Beach. Located 1 mile from The Bay Center, 4 miles to PNS Airport.

My parents and I stayed here over the holidays and had a great time. Check-in was smooth and the amenities were excellent. It's a beautiful home. The backyard is bigger than the pictures would suggest.

Property was very clean upon arrival and had everything we needed as a family of 6 with young kids and two dogs. Great proximity to the grocery store and beaches, as well as restaurants. Host was very responsive and friendly. We look forward to planning additional trips here with family members who want to rent out the tiny home in the backyard. The backyard was very nice and fully enclosed for guests who want to bring their dogs. We felt safe the entire time and had no issues with outside noise. Highly recommend!

This unit was fully stocked with coffee and teas with sugar and cream, as well as shampoos and conditioners and body wash. It was ADORABLE, and super clean. I’ve found that a lot of Vrbo’s will ask you to wash a load of towels on the last day but only leave you one pod or worse, none. There weren’t any in the unit when I got there and I messaged the owner. She told me where to look for the extra supplies and had a whole container for the unit. It was just very thoughtful.

This is by far the best vrbo I’ve ever stayed at. The host has so well through out every aspect of this experience for the guest and everything is better than expected.

This house is so stylish while remaining comfortable and affordable. The location was great and the backyard was perfect for my little dog. Shanna, the host, was so easy to work with. The instructions were easy to follow and the house is so clean. I highly recommend this house!

Great place!

This was a great place to stay, beautiful home and windows, our kids loved the fenced-in yard and the hammock. The immediate neighborhood was a little sketchy, but it was close to some wonderful parks for the kids and the dog!

Oh my! Where to begin. Let’s start with the host. She was amazing and so so help. We came for a dance comp. She helped with everything. From an early check in to what to do in the area. Sue helped me with every little question I had about the place to the area. Her husband/pool boy was also very nice. They are both quick to respond! Ok the cottage itself. It’s is so adorable! I told them I would love to have a house like this. It’s very clean and well stocked with items you need. Including shampoo, conditioner and toilet paper. All the beds were very comfy and the bedding itself (which I am picky about) was nice and comfy. The house was very clean. The little pool in the back yard was a nice touch. I set out there every morning and had coffee. The neighborhood itself does look a little sketchy but don’t judge a book by its cover. We walked around a lot. The neighbors were all very nice. I talked to them in the mornings. The area is very convenient to downtown and to the beaches. It probably took us about 15 min to get to Casino beach. I was worried about not being closer to the beach But it worked out great! I don’t normally do reviews, but I was just so happy with this trip and the host. I would like to thank them for making this momma happy!

This was by far the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. Super cute, homey, and suppled with everything we needed. The beds were comfy, and the bathroom was perfect! We were so close to downtown where we needed to be 5 days while we were there. It was a wonderful vacation!!

The place was awesome, enough room for my big group. Beautiful inside, very inviting and very comfy, it has everything you may need while on vacation. I would definitely recommend this place. The owner is very nice and prompt. All in all this was a very enjoyable vacation for us.

Fun times!

I have a large family (8+ people) when we stay places people tend to get nervous. This place was amazing, my family showed up and felt at home. I found the bed in the back room was perfect for my back pain. Communication with the host was easy and helpful. I will stay here again!

Good value for large, pet-friendly family

Beautifully renovated home. I loved that we could bring our pets and the fenced-in backyard was perfect. Parking more than two cars without blocking the home in the back was one challenge. The location is great proximity to downtown and the beach but the neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy - be careful at night. Overall would stay again.

We really enjoyed the house ! Never did locate the recycling container. Front bedroom.was missing a window shade....we improvised with a black plastic tablecloth from Dollar Tree ! Three bedrooms were great, as well as the washer and dryer. The backyard was perfect for Dobby 🐶

Eastside Sunshine Escape

I genuinely enjoyed my stay at this property. The homeowner was kind, attentive, and quick to handle any request. The home is well taken care of and decorated. There are touches that make it feel like you live there. I really enjoyed the back yard, grill, and hammock. I am ver grateful that the host was gracious enough to even leave beach chairs since the location is only 10 minutes from the most beautiful beach in the gulf coast. East King’s Corner is walking distance, and they’re serving up the most delicious food. There are so many great local businesses nearby. Book & enjoy the neighborhood!

We wanted a place within walking/biking distance of Downtown. We fell in love with the tall ceilings and heart pine wood floors. We also love the yard for all the great palm trees azaleas & camellias.
