Great family vacation

This is a lovely, large, clean property with plenty of room and a fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our prior stay here so much that we returned. Particularly appreciate the large back yard, fire pit and cornhole.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Property was as nice as it was listed on website. It was clean and ready for us. Easily accommodated all 10 of us. Would definitely stay here again.

Another great family vacation!

This was our second visit to Hebert Oaks Ranch, and a great time was had by all (six adults, four grandkids and one dog). Plenty of space for everyone, and the grandkids really enjoyed the four bunk beds together at the other side of the house, away from adult supervision. We visited three beaches during our stay, and most evenings the adults enjoyed wine education and corn hole competition. I highly recommend the venue for mid-state gatherings.

We loved the farm feel and natural quiet setting of the home. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. the outside was fun with the corn hole game. Inside we were glad we brought some games as the house didn't have any. Our only small complaint was there were not enough dishes for our group of 9. We also loved that it was dog friendly. Our 2 pups had a great time!

Spacious and comfortable home near Pismo Beach

This house has a great layout and can accommodate 10 people comfortably. The bunk bed room was especially appreciated by our kids. Beds were very comfy and lots of blanket were provided. Communication with the host was very easy.The yard is very large and the property is located next to horse stables. At the very back of the property some friendly horses let us pet them.

Excellent Central Coast Family Gathering Site

We’re just back home from a fun-filled week-long family gathering at Hebert Oaks Ranch. Our family consists of six adults, four kids (4-9 yrs. old) and one dog. The property is ideally suited for us, with just about everything we need for a fun annual reunion.The kids loved the open spaces and making friends with the blue-eyed cat.And since we’re from LA and SF Bay Area, Arroyo Grande is great mid-point. I’d highly recommend the property.

Mother's Day / Girls' Weekend

The location was just beautiful. The back yard is a sanctuary where you can just sit and relax, take in the beautiful view and listen to the birds. Or, you can play corn hole (which was provided) or any other yard games since the yard is huge. The bedrooms, kitchen and living room were all beautifully decorated and cozy. Just wish there was an additional shower. I've rented a few places in Morro Bay and Los Osos, but this was definitely my favorite for relaxation and family time by far.

Cute Home

Really wanted to love this house. The property was a mix of modern and farm house decor. The property had a horse shoe pit and a corn hole set. The kids and adults enjoyed both. The 2 bathrooms were sufficient but one true “shower” for ten guests was a bit of stretch. I think the setup would be better suited for a smaller family. Regardless house was nice overall.

last minute family get-away

What a hidden gem. We needed a last minute location change from the snowy mountains to somewhere more manageable for travel. So thankful that this lovely place was available. It was very comfortable for the whole family and we loved the location in Arroyo Grande. The only thing I would change here would be to make the bathtub bathroom into a proper shower so that there are 2 showers in the house for convenience sake, instead of only 1. With all 9 of us there, we also would have loved some more bowls, plates, and knives/silverware. Overall, this was a special property providing a wonderful family time together. We hope to visit again!

Charming country house

We loved our stay in this spacious, ranch-styled house with beautiful property! It comfortably slept all 9 of us and we made wonderful memories playing games around the large kitchen table. It rained while we were there so we weren't able to enjoy the yard and fire pit as much as we would have liked, but it was all so inviting. The only couple of things I'd change is it was dark when we first arrived and it would have been nice to have the porch light left on for us. And the second full bath is only a tub with a low shower head so not a true shower, which made it a bit tricky - all 9 of us rotated showers in the other bathroom. Prob would be good to specify that on the property description. Still highly recommend this property!

Amazing, relaxing, large clean home

Can’t say enough about how great this property was for our family of 10. The grounds are beautiful and close to horse stables. The house was equipped with everything we needed including fire pit, corn hole and horseshoes. Beds comfortable. Close drive to downtown Arroyo Grande. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely home for families

Had a wonderful stay at this home. House worked great for us. We were all family we filled all the beds. One minor drawback is people staying in the bunk room have to walk through all common areas after shower, including the kitchen. Also, there is only one shower. One bathroom only has a tub. This could be remedied easily with an extended holder for the spray handle and a shower curtain to encircle the tub. These were minor inconveniences, as we expected 2 showers for our large group. Fortunately there were two separate bathrooms not one as part of a master suite, and we made do. Just a few things that are not obvious from the pictures. That being said, I would stay again. The location was perfect for us, as was being on one level.

Lovely time Celebrating

We had a wonderful time celebrating my daughters graduation with family. I didn’t realize there is only one shower so that made things more challenging. Also, my fault but I think I left a few things in a drawer and I haven’t been able to figure out how to check if my belongings where found and if I can get them back.

Disappointed overall

The house was a little dirty when we arrived. We also had a spider problem, we understand that the house is surrounded with wilderness but this was just gross with the size of the spiders. Also the patio furniture was dirty and one of the chairs around the fire was broken so when my aunt sat down the arm fell off and was stabbed with the exposed nail. Not cool or safe. The location was beautiful but we wouldn’t select this home again.
