5th night free must include a weekend stay; holiday weekends excluded.
Privately owned and managed, cozy, clean 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with gas fireplace and kitchen stocked with all your cooking needs. Located at the end of the hallway on the corner which offers lots of privacy and quiet. The family room has a new queen size sleeper sofa (2024) for additional sleeping arrangements. There's a new queen mattress (2024) in the master bedroom and sleeping for 4 in the second bedroom. New (2024) Samsung flat screen tvs in the family room and bunkbed bedroom. Unit sleeps 7 comfortably.
Rimfire Lodge is conveniently located in the heart of the Snowshoe Village close to all of the shops and restaurants. Opened in the summer of 1999, the lodge offers direct slope access (ski-in/ski-out), ski and bike lockers, outdoor hot tubs, sauna, fitness room, Alpenglow Hearth room, restaurants, shopping and heated underground parking garage. Rimfire Lodge is adjacent to Snowshoe's new Split Rock Aqua Center.

Snowshoe Mountain is considered the premier ski resort East of the Rocky Mountains and South of New England. In addition to the skiing, there are many winter activities and events to choose from including tubing down the Coca-Cola Tube Park, a snowmobile tour, or a snowcat tour. Not to mention the beautiful scenery and fall foliage during the months of September-November.

Snowshoe Mountain is a four-season vacation destination. During the summer, temperatures are mild and pleasant, perfect for the Gary Player designed Raven Golf Course - rated 'top 100 in the country' by Golf Magazine. Bike and hike the miles of trails that Snowshoe offers on their 10,000 acres. Canoe, kayak or paddle boat on Shaver's Lake. Let the kids spend the day at the Outpost Adventure Park skateboarding, rock-climbing, and racing on the BMX track. Horseback riding, fresh water fishing, bird watching and scenic balloon rides are many of the summer activities and events to choose from.

The following statistics will help you understand the mountain: 180' average snowfall, 60 trails ranging from beginner to expert, 2 expert trails with 1500’ vertical drop and 1.5 miles long, 100% snowmaking on 260 acres of terrain, night skiing on 12 trails at the Silver Creek Ski area. 3 high-speed detachable quad lifts, 2 fixed quad lifts, and 6 triple lifts. For the smallest skiers check out the magic carpet lift at Snowshoe and Silver Creek.

Great location…great condo for family vacation!

This condo is amazing! Perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed a long weekend up at snowshoe… Great snow. The location is perfect. You can walk right out into the village, easy access to restaurants and shops and the slopes. The condo is clean and in a great location. Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend for the snow

The place was great, cozy felt warm and fuzzy, The rooms were great. The condo is right and the base of the lifts. In fact you walk about 3 minutes and your at the top and just snowboard down. Loved everything and will be staying here for every trip.

Great Family ski trip

We have stayed many times on Snowshoe and loved the proximity of Rimfire to ski school, restaurants and Split Rock pools. The property was in great condition and the owners were incredibly responsive to anything we needed. Would highly recommend for a family ski trip.

Perfect for our family of 5!

We absolutely loved how convenient this property was to everything! It was perfect for grabbing our gear and hitting the slopes within minutes. The home was cozy, with lots of extra blankets and a fully stocked kitchen, which made our stay even more comfortable. The property owner was fantastic—her communication was excellent, and she went above and beyond when we accidentally left some clothes behind. She washed them and mailed them back to us! Highly recommend this property for an amazing stay.

Amazing Stay at Rimfire - Ideal Location and Wonderful Host!

My family just had an amazing stay at Rimfire! The unit was impeccably clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Its location is ideal—right in the heart of the village, just steps from the slopes, with restaurants and activities all around. One of our favorite moments was unwinding in the hot tub while watching the sunset—a perfect way to relax after long days of skiing. Cassie was a fantastic host, providing detailed information about the condo and always being available for any questions. We can't wait to return to Snowshoe and would love to stay at Cassie's place again

Very nice unit in a great loacation! There was plenty of room for everyone and we really appreciated the bed in arrangement in the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped and the outside space was excellent. Highly recommend!

Close to Ballhooter lift

Condo had everything basic needed for a nice stay. Beds were comfortable, plenty of blankets. Cozy living room with fireplace. Hot water in showers. Clean bathrooms. Less than 3 minute walk from ski locker to ski slope at Ballhooter lift. Outdoor hot tubs. Free parking lot across from lodge. Several restaurants within five minute walk from condo. We parked once and took the free shuttle to go tubing and skiing at Silver Creek, super easy!! The guests in the condo above us sounded like a herd of elephants so bring a sound machine if you're a light sleeper!!

We needed a change of scenery!

This is a corner unit that is larger than we anticipated. Sleeping quarters on each side w/nice living/kitchen area in the middle. It was really nice having the fire place after a day of skiing. Teens enjoyed the TV in the bunk room. Check-in was smooth and owner is extremely responsive. Convenient location to all restaurants, etc. Definitely would stay there again.

Biking Event Stay

This was the fourth time we've visited Snowshoe for the UCI Mountain Biking World Cup. The property, by far, was one of the best. It is clean, well-appointed, and well-equipped. And you can't get a better location in the village. An added bonus was the underground parking garage. We knew our bikes would be safe and we wouldn't have any hassles with finding a parking space. Snowshoe can get very crowded for this event. We loved our stay here and so will you.

Great Stay at Rimfire 254-255

Rimfire 254-255 was perfect for our family of six. It is centrally located in the village with very easy walking access to all of the shops, restaurants, Starbucks, equipment rental, and slopes. It was clean and well stocked with the essentials. The kitchen was great for cooking dinner if you are looking to save on eating out. There are also two lockers available for your equipment. We did not have any issues during our stay. We enjoyed our stay so much that we've already booked it for our trip next year.

Fantastic property!

We stayed the week of Christmas and had such a wonderful stay. The condo is very clean and very spacious, and located in the middle of Snowshoe Village. It was so convenient to have indoor lockers for our gear, and then just walk out on to the slopes. There was plenty to choose from in terms of eating in the Village, and a few shops to buy souvenirs. We did bring in our food, as the closest Wal-Mart (or any large grocery store) is over 40 minutes away. There is a small provisions store in the Village to buy limited groceries. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Ski long weekend

This property is accurately described by the owner. More than enough room for 2 adults and 2 teens. Excellent location, not only on the resort property but in the building also. The unit is on the opposite end from the elevators and high traffic areas (think noise from slamming stairway doors and ski boots walking). If you aren’t familiar with snowshoe, Rimfire is in the middle of the action, steps from everything except silver creek and top of the world (but it is steps from the shuttle stop!). You will not go wrong with this unit, we will stay here again if it’s available.

As advertised

This two-bedroom unit was very comfortable and definitely 5 stars… location was excellent (short 2-3 min walk across the courtyard of the village to get to the slopes), quieter end unit within the building (more on that later), free access to the Rimfire hot tubs, luggage carts for help with loading/unloading, well-stocked kitchen (although the owner made no promises, we found enough tp, paper towels, tissues, dishwasher tablets, soap, dish soap, etc. to last the 3-night stay), gas fireplace was a nice extra, beds were fine (the Queen was a little soft for me but I like firmer beds), bedding was cozy and plentiful, enough pans and cooking utensils (more on that later). Overall very nice/I would stay again. Now I’ll get nit-picky… a larger trash can in the kitchen would be nice (we ended up just hanging a bag on a doorknob bc it’s only like a 3-gal basket), the one spatula in the kitchen was micro-sized, all the frying pans are scratched non-stick which gives me the heebie-jeebies knowing what those micro plastics & chemicals do, refrigerator is small (if we had stayed any longer our food wouldn’t have fit as we ate most meals at the condo and there were five adults to feed), the heat is strangely loud when it’s on, the WiFi is not good enough to run Netflix smoothly, the water is extremely hard, the last two nights we had upstairs neighbors/you definitely heard them walking around and you can hear people walking/talking/yelling outside as well, couch was not super comfy.

We are family of 6 who love to ski and snowboard. I learned how to ski at all the Pocono Mountains growing up and then honed my skills in New England at the VT, NH and NY ski resorts when I lived in Boston. I gave up skiing for a few years when my kids were young but once they were old enough to strap on skis we got back onto the slopes. My husband learned to ski when the kids did and quickly fell in love with the sport. Snowshoe is our favorite mountain to ski since moving to the Northern Virginia area in 2005. After many trips all over the VA and WVA areas we decided that Snowshoe was the place where we wanted to own property. We love sharing our cozy condo with others. We hope you enjoy our condo and your ski experience at Snowshoe as much as we always do!

Only steps to the Ballhooter lift, this private, 2BR, 2 Bath condo in Rimfire Lodge offers all the convenience you could want for a vacation. The corner unit offers you lots of quiet and no foot traffic at the end of the hall. Sleeps up to 8 with queen bed in master, 2nd BR with twin bunks + a trundle and a separate twin, while living room has a pull-out sofa. Kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, dishes and utensils. Fresh linens and towels are included for your rental. Rimfire includes a workout room, cable TV and WiFi, ground level ski lockers, laundry facility and underground parking. Starbucks, Foxfire Grille and Old Spruce Cafe and Tavern are all within a short walk of the building. Split Rock Pool is right next door. What more could you ask for?

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Rimfire is conveniently located right in the village so is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and most importantly to the slopes. The shuttle bus is located right outside of the building if you desire to venture to Silver Creek for some night skiing or snow tubing. There is underground parking so there's no need to unload the car out in the elements. You also don't have to clean snow off or shovel out your car when you are ready to leave. There is 15 minute parking outside of the building which also allows you some convenient unloading space. Starbucks and all the restaurants you could possibly desire are within a short walk of our condo. Unload your car, put your skis in the 1st floor lockers, then don't worry about driving anywhere else until you are ready to go home!
