Cozy and clean second floor studio with ocean view and a full kitchen. California king bed and queen sleeper sofa. Free wifi 5g. We are on the second/top floor with the vaulted ceiling, so you won't be bothered by noise because no one is above you; with a/c and ceiling fan as well. Beach gear, with a huge pool, hot tub and tennis court within the complex. Clean and good size laundry facility as well. Beach town dining and shopping just down the road, and 10 miles from Kahului for major chain store shopping. There is a view of the fishpond, windmills and whale sanctuary. Kihei road is busy during the day. Public transportation is nearby for those who prefer not to drive. There playgrounds and beaches nearby to enjoy, as well as an outdoor rollerskating rink, and the Kealia Pond national wildlife refuge. So many things to do in beautiful Kihei, all nearby for your pleasure.

We have cookware, hair dryer, utensils, dishes, cups, a steam iron, toaster, coffee maker, beach gear, DVD player, tv, cable, internet, blankets, pillows, bath and beach towels, and a security screen door so that now you can open the entry door and allow the wonderful maui breeze to flow through all day and night.

The condo is very outdated, bathroom sink doesn’t drain and had a sewer smell, the bed was very uncomfortable. Coffee maker was all rusted up so did not work very well. Too much old furniture jammed into this small room, not enough room to move around. A broken very old window air conditioner in window, so heard all the traffic on the busy street. It felt dirty, old and cluttered. Not an enjoyable stay.

Anthony was a very good host. The condo was great. Easy central location. Everything we needed was in the condo. Road noise can be loud at times but with either a few ear plugs or leaving a fan on while sleeping it was not an issue. Easy across the street to the ocean and a good lighted cross walk to boot. Strong shower and great flushing toilet. Slept sound on the king bed. Maui is the best.

We love Hawaii and feel ungrateful for leaving a poor review. However, the bed was horrible on our backs, the kitchen was not stocked well at all, and the bathroom smelled a bit like the sweage was not working. The unit we stayed in was also close to the street and it was very loud all night. One night there was a man working on something right outside our unit passed 9 PM whoch also kept us up. We tried to sleep on the pull out couch on the last night but when we pulled it out it was covered in samd and the mattress was a very old spring.If you are trying to save money I understand, but I will sadly not be coming back to this unit, it seems the owner has not visited in a long time.

I had a great stay and would like to stay here again. The only issue I had was no toilet paper or tissues in the unit. Would have been nice to have even a partial roll. Other than that, the unit was clean, easy to keep cool and insect free. The hot tub was broken down but that’s not the host’s fault. Overall great stay.

The room was great for what we needed . Wasn’t fancy but that’s not really what we were looking for anyways . Great location on the island for all the excursions we had planned . Lots of great beaches very close to the room and lots of great places to eat .

We were central to everywhere we wanted to go. You just can't smoke on the balcony and that wasn't clear. They have a smoking section in back of parking lot you can use. The location to the beach was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay!

This property was a major disappointment. The unit was dirty, poorly maintained, and the host was unresponsive.From the start, the AC unit was broken and replaced with a portable unit that did not cool the space and leaked water continuously, leaving puddles on the floor and soaking some of my belongings. The unbearable heat inside made our stay extremely uncomfortable.The overall cleanliness was unacceptable: hair on the bed linens, stained towels (some clearly cut from larger ones), a broken bed frame, a dirty oven, and a microwave missing its turntable ring. Basic kitchen items were lacking—there was only one cup for water.Despite notifying the host immediately, very little was done. The host’s “maintenance” crew was unprofessional and ineffective. Calls and texts came at inconvenient times, but no one actually resolved the problems. His follow-up was minimal, and at one point, he went silent for nine days after.Instead of enjoying our trip, we spent it cleaning, mopping leaks, and struggling in unbearable conditions. This was not the experience promised when booking and fell far below reasonable expectations for a Vrbo rental.

As several reviews noted, the best asset of this apartment is its location, very close to the fish pond and nearby beaches. I also appreciate the beach chairs provided. However, the apartment needs a serious upgrade. The bed is hard and old, the furnishings are not functional and oversized for the space. It looks like they were gotten from a thrift store sale. The kitchen lacked some utensils like a pan to make eggs and spoons. Towels and linen are very worn. The worst issue was the sewage smell coming from the bathroom vent. It clearly needs to be fixed. When we arrived to checking in, the cleaning person was moping the floors but, overall, the place was a bit filthy.

Price was good but Not ocean view whatsoever, not a working ac unit leaked and flooded the entire trip. Given obviously dirty towels, floor not swept. Tissues and dirty boxers upon arrival, loud undisclosed construction out front. Sewage smell throughout and felt dirty. The unit is too hot to sleep comfortably. No hand soap in the unit. Needs some serious tlc And update to listing

We knew we weren't going to cook much, so much great food on Maui but I was not prepared for how poorly stocked the kitchen was. I bought some yogurt and granola to eat for breakfast before my morning swim but there are zero bowls or spoons in this apartment, I got plastic spoons when I ate out and cleaned a take out container to use as a bowl. The kitchen was completely unequipped. Check out at 10am is firm - we forgot our camelback, goggles, and a couple other things it the code expires at 10am sharp so we couldn't get back in. I think the property owners seem nice on messages, they just need to make a stop at goodwill for some basics.

The location of this property is fantastic — close to beautiful beaches, great local spots, and a vibrant area to explore. Unfortunately, the cleanliness fell short of expectations, with some areas (including the shower, sheets, and sink) not as clean as we would have hoped. Check-in was also a bit challenging as we did not receive the entry code and had to make several calls to gain entry. With some improvements to cleanliness and communication, this could be an outstanding stay given the prime location.

Overall this place is ok. It’s a little dark and takes a while to cool off in the evenings. The fans are loud, and the bed is somewhat frumpy. But, it was priced very reasonably, and it is a good location.

Disgusting and Disappointing

This is by far one of the worst places I have ever stayed in. The room was filthy and extremely dusty. It had a musty, damp, and strong sickly smell. Most of the smell was coming from the bad, old plumbing in the bathroom. Especially, the drain in the tub that was not working properly. I reported the plumbing problem immediately and it was not resolved until the next day. The furniture and the bedding was awfully worn out and stained. The AC unit was loud and did not cool the place properly without the fans. Sadly, I was not able to turn on the fans because they were thick of dust and filthy and I couldn't risk getting an asthma attack during my vacation. On top of this, there were many tiny brown bugs in the bathroom and in the kitchen. I left a dessert on the counter for a few hours and it got filled with bugs. The few photos I was able to submit do no justice to the deplorable condition this room is in.Given the condition of the room, I immediately started searching for another place to stay. Unfortunately, other places were booked due to the holiday.The description and reviews on this platform were not accurate, and I would appreciate a refund for all the trouble I went through. This is absolutely terrible and unacceptable, and I hope this does not happen to anyone else.

Five Days in Paradise!

This property is in a prime location for your Maui vacation! Watch the sunset from the balcony or on the beach which a short jaunt away! The property could’ve been a smidge cleaner. There was a lot of dust. We did have issues with the Air Conditioning and had to clean out both of the air filters in order to enjoy cooler air. The property point person replied within the hour, so that’s positive.

Great Property

This unit is ideal for a couples stay. Check in/out was very easy. Parking was good, if you get back late, you may need to find parking towards the rear of the complex; short walk. Location is very convenient. The unit is stocked with kitchen tools, linens and AC. Unit faces the sun, so it can get warm during the day. Beautiful sunset from patio. Pool and jacuzzi was a nice touch. Only complaint is the bathroom vent. when turned on, there is an unpleasant odor. Communication before, during and after was great. Overall, I look forward to our next stay at Kiehi Bay Surf. Mahalo!

Not bad, but not great.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. The property manager didn't send us all the information we needed to get in when we arrived, but thankfully did include a number for someone else we could text. When we texted them, they sent back a one-word response, which was all we needed to get in. When we walked in, one of the first things I found were probably hundreds of dead gnats on the floor and in the bathroom sink. The floor was also generally dirty. It only took a couple of minutes to clean this all up, and the rest of our stay was fine. The bed was comfortable; the furnishings were good.We didn't spend much time in the place itself except for dinners and to sleep. It's in a really great location, with access to a lot of great parts of Maui. It's also right across the road from a gorgeous beach. So, it worked. It was a roof over our heads and did what we needed it to do. But it's not especially nice, either. And I wish they had cleaned up the gnats before we arrived.

I grew up and went to school on the east coast. After a vacation to California, I decided to make it my home. Since moving to California, we have been vacationing in Maui for about 12 years, and the very first time we knew we would live there someday. This condo is now our home away from home. We have two adorable toddlers. Before they were born, we engaged in a 10 year search for the perfect place to call home in Maui. But when our children were born and after seeing their love and enjoyment for Maui, and with an enchanted stroke of luck, i found our second home. we are anxious to share the aloha spirit with my guests, and hope that you will feel the magic I felt the very first time I stepped foot on the island. I hope our guests will feel the love our family has for our home.

We began looking for a second home from the first time we set foot on Maui. We stayed in other parts of the island, including Napili and Kaanapali. We found Kihei to feel more like a family oriented paradise in a small beach resort town, located centrally allowing easy access to many points of interest. Our home is across Kihei Road from the ancient Koieie Fish Pond, and the Whale Sanctuary. We have an ocean view, that will only get better when the palm tree grows just a little bigger! We found that as return visitors, accessibility to the airport, shopping, dining, and other beaches, is very important to living in Maui.

You have a variety of places to eat, shop, or simply to enjoy taking long walks on beaches that are long and beautiful, such as sugar beach. Maui ocean center is just over 6 miles away. Our home provides you many options on the laid back island of maui.
