Beautiful waterfront 1 bdrm/1 bath apartment, upstairs, over detached garage. Minutes from historic and colorful downtown, sponge docks, and beaches of Tarpon Springs, Fla. A hidden treasure, Tarpon Springs offers wonderful shopping and dining opportunities, fishing and boating activities, arts and craft shows and musical events without the congestion of other locales nearby. The bayous and waterways of Tarpon Sorings have earned it the nickname, “Venice of the South”. Fishing, kayaking, wind surfing, paddle boarding, and leisure boating abound. This property includes large back yard and private dock. It provides fully furnished kitchen, bath and bedroom, laundry, WIFI, cable tv, and AC. Small dog allowed. No cats (owner allergic).

The place was spacious and clean. The neighborhood is also a nice area for walking and it wasn't too far from the beach. The owners were attentive and responsive as well.

Good location

Nice location but listing does not describe unit accurately. It is an apartment above a garage that involves climbing 2 flights of stars. Stairs are not in good repair and do not have adequate lighting at night. Had trouble with lock getting in and had to call the owner because we thought we were renting the main house. Entry delayed several minutes while trying to reach host. She said others had made the same mistake...which again could have been avoided if the listing description was accurate. Had difficulty using the TV due to incorrect instructions. Again owner had to be contacted. She did work diligently to resolve the problem.. Nice host but would not rent again.

Lovely peaceful riverside property

The apartment was clean with everything you need for 2 people. The king size bed was a bonus and very comfortable. We loved the big garden which backed onto the river with its own covered dock and picnic bench. The dock even had lights for sitting out in the evening! If you like wildlife like us you will love this place! We would sit having breakfast early morning watching and listening to the birds, too many different varieties to mention. Also one evening an Opossum walked across the Grass, looked up at us and carried on his way. Then another evening around 10pm a raccoon did the same thing. The house is about a mile to lovely sunset beach and a 5 minute drive to the pretty Greek sponge dock area. We would highly recommend this property. Also Carol the host sent us prompt replies to all our queries.

Another Great Stay in Tarpon Springs

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. Love the location and the quiet area. The apartment has everything you need to cook etc and within walking distance to several restaurants.

Great, reasonable rental!!

Perfect place for one or two people, bed is fine, kitchen is fully equipped and whole apartment appears to have been renovated recently. Grocery store nearby and close to good restaurants, sponge docks, highways. Had coffee on a deck/dock prior to high tide (when it's covered) and enjoyed Fred Howard beach nearby. Owner provides clear communication and information re checking in and out, etc.

It was great to be right on the water in Tarpon Springs. The apartment was very comfortable and the hosts were great.

Our stay in Tarpon Springs

Location, kitchen, laundry was excellent. The one issue we had was with the tv. Utubetv after 1 week of watching our morning shows, it wanted us to pay for the four the channels. All hotels provide that service. Since we needed them as traders, we were unable to see what was going on in the business sector, so we decided to leave before our paid time was up.

A hidden jewell in Tarpon Springs.

Highly recommend this property for a single person or couple. Very clean and comfortable in an excellent location. The owners, Bill and Carol are very nice and welcoming! Close to everything Tarpon Springs has to offer! Would definitely come back!❤️

What a lovely place. The dock and backyard was such a relaxing place to unwind after a hectic day. I'm a retired public health officer so cleanliness is very important to me - the place was immaculate. The owners made me feel very welcome and were available if I needed anything. Definitely will return.

A fabulous stay!!!!!

I chose this rental because it was listed as being a premiere host. The property was amazing. The pictures cannot capture just how incredible the view is from the apartment. It was absolutely lovely waking up every morning to the water view. It far surpassed my expectations. I will definitely recommend to others. I will definitely book again, hopefully soon.

Peaceful location in Tarpon Springs

Had a wonderful time at the condo; location was great for walking downtown or to Sunset beach. Lots of amenities, comfortable bed. Owner was very accommodating and quick to reply to any questions. Great dock to sit out on for morning coffee or afternoon drink. Would definitely recommend!

December getaway

This was a beautiful and conveniently located place to stay and enjoy our short vacation. Carol & Bill are the most gracious hosts They welcomed us personally upon our late arrival to make sure we and our dog (a Westie) were OK and comfortable.

Wonderful Waterfront Retreat!

Our hosts were there to meet us. They even helped us navigate our boat through the Anclote River to their dock. Apartment was super clean and cozy. Plenty of outside lighting. Relaxing swing by dock to take your cares away. We will definitely be returning soon.

Relaxing Oasis in the Heart of Tarpon Springs

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It is nicely furnished and decorated, had the right amount of space for us with all the amenities we needed. And it was impeccably clean and up to date. The property is beautiful. We enjoyed the views and sitting on the dock enjoying the lagoon and wildlife. It is located in the heart of Tarpon Springs and close to the beautiful park and beaches. We will stay here again each time we visit family in the area. Carol is a great host who made our stay as easy and comfortable as can be.

Best Vacation Destination in Tarpon Springs!

We cannot compliment Carol and Bill enough as hosts. They have supplied you with anything you can think of, and then some, to give you the best stay possible. The apartment is adorable, clean, comfortable and in the best location in Tarpon Springs. We will definitely return again for future visits!

A Getaway to relax

Wonderful location!

We had the best time at this location. I can highly recommend it. We enjoyed fishing and relaxing from the private dock and our dog loved swimming in the water. The apartment was perfect for us, with a nice and new kitchen to cook for the night we decided to eat there. Everything was very clean. The neighborhood is calm and safe with many good beaches and restaurants close by. The owners, Carol and Bill, are wonderful people and great hosts! We hope to return here very soon!

What a gem!

This condo is beautiful, bright, and tranquil. A great value. The kitchen and bathroom had everything I needed. I love to cook and used a lot of the housewares which were plentiful. I enjoyed every minute in and around the condo (outside near the water, in the dock swing, sitting on the grass, or at the picnic table). The laundry is easy to access but not noisy. I only had neighbors for a couple of nights but I never heard them. There is plenty of privacy in this unit. I did not want to leave, and I plan to return. Carol was very easy to work with, quick to respond, and very accommodating.

Beautiful Apartment on the water

We had a wonderful time here. The location was great and the hosts were very respectful, friendly, and let us know to make them aware if we needed anything. They gave us some good travel tips, and the dock was wonderful, with the water view from the back. We were also close to 2 really nice beaches. We will not hesitate to stay here again.

Convenient location and amenities

We stayed at the property for 3.5 days with our toddler. It was close to a couple of kid friendly beaches and it was nice to watch the birds and other wildlife at the canal behind the house. Unfortunately, I do regret choosing this apartment due to subsequent communication issues with the owner. Several hours before our flight back, I received news that my grandfather collapsed and EMT crew was trying to resuscitate him. Two hours went by without information, before learning that he had passed away. While this was going on, we were in shock and glued to our phones, processing and understanding what happened. Ultimately, we had to scramble and quickly pack as we were close to missing our flight back home. The following day, the owner messaged me about being dissatisfied with our cleaning of the property. Apparently, the cleaning service they use and charge a fee for only includes sanitization and laundry, so it was their expectation that the counters be washed, appliances cleaned, no trash left inside the trash bins. Even though, those expectations were not communicated to us previously, I apologized, explained how much stress we were under during packing, and offered to compensate for any extra cleaning expenses. However, even after mailing the check, I continued to receive nasty messages and basically threats. The lack of empathy and the added stress during an already emotional time is regrettable.
