Great location and amenities

Beautiful home and gardens, with lots of amenities and things to do. Lovely location just outside of Berry’s Main Street so it’s quiet.

Berry weekend

What a awesome place for a mother daughter weekend, plenty of room ,pool table games room, swimming pool outdoor areas so much space would definetly be back

Special Birthday Celebration

Stunning property, the 7 children enjoyed the heated pool for hours. There were plenty of places for everyone to get together or just be alone. The gardens were lovely with plenty of room to kick a ball or play Bocce. Being able to checkout at 4 pm gave everyone time to enjoy Sunday till it was time to pack up and leave. We had a fantastic time. Thank you.

Needs cleaning and maintenance

Surfaces throughout the house esp. kitchen were grimy and very dusty. Floors not clean. Beds not in the best condition. Some lights not working. Electrical wire’s sticking out from wall. Minimal shading for outdoor sitting areas, also not cleaned. Pool heated by solar should be stated in advert. Basic pantry items was a joke. Ironing board was in terrible condition. No face washers. Instructions if any were incomplete. Excepted higher standard at that price point. House needs a thorough clean throughout and maintenance.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. Cleaning issues have been addressed. The pool is noted in our listing as being solar heated with a need to replace the cover overnight to maintain the temperature. We do state only basic pantry items are supplied as we find guests don't necessarily like to use previously opened items.

Overall a wonderful, gorgeous property. Well presented and so very cosy. Two thumbs up. For the sake of a balanced review I've added a couple of things for improvement below. Great things: Beautiful property - a grand home with a homely feel. Well designed and flows well throughout. Walking in had so many wow moments. Living room was a highlight - positioned centrally with access from above and around. Having the sound system and fireplace there really made it such an amazing space. Kids room was well thought out. Great amount of entertainment/activities - indoor heated pool, table tennis table, pool table, foosball, netflix, etc Beautiful garden. Very short drive to the center of Berry (albeit Berry is a pretty small town). Things to improve: - Although the property was really well presented throughout, there were two areas that were unusually unclean: 1) In the kids room if you rolled out the trundle beds that sat beneath the beds, the space underneath was very VERY dusty. We found a vacuum cleaner in the laundry and did some vacuuming ourselves. 2) The seats/cushions in the outdoor sitting area between the house and the pool was quite dirty, and ultimately we decided to avoid it. - The non-ensuite shower on the second floor might have worked better with some kind of water containment. Although aesthetically nice without a door/curtain/floor barrier, water does splash around which was slightly annoying, and may also cause water damage over time.

Perfect

The photos do not do this property justice, Such a beautiful spacious home. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kids enjoyed running around the backyard, pool and all the activities available. Late evening, having the family around the fireplace with cheese platter, playing board games and cards - was extra special. The only fault I would say, beds are not too comfortable. Other than that perfect home. Nice Local shops and the donut van!! Yum!!

Lovely house in Berry

Great house, loads of space. We had a lovely stay. We would have loved a 12 person cup coffee plunger and some slightly better locks on the swimming pool Pavillion room with a young child,but apart from that a fabulous stay.

Wonderful Family Retreat

We had an incredible stay at Kevalier and were blown away buy the pool and lounge area especially. We will return.

Great House and Location

Fab property as described. Fireplace in winter is fantastic and keeps the house toasty. Plenty of space! Unfortunately the property was not ready when we arrived and was not left as clean as could be expected due to this. As we only stayed 2 nights it was a disappointment. The main gas bottle was not connected and we could not manage this either so we had no cooktop gas. But we had a great time there and would have been fantastic if not for these things

We had a back to back booking that day and the previous guests were late to leave. We are sorry to hear about the gas bottle not being connected. We do provide an after-hours number for our guests and we could have sent someone from our maintenance team out to immediately rectify this. We look forward to hosting you again in the future.

Worth a visit

Property lives up to expectations - very handy to Berry 5 mins and with a rural atmosphere. Land is level and suitable for all ages. Few minor adjustments needed by the owner eg new queen mattress downstairs, sharp knives in kitchen missing, some of China on last legs.

Countryside Heaven

Great family get together

We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for all of us and with the indoor pool gym and games room and the great grounds, there was something for everyone...loved it!

Great family escape.

We celebrated our mothers 70th birthday over two nights at Kevalier Park. On arrival we found the house immaculately clean and beautifully styled. The house was perfect for our large family. The bedrooms were large and beds very comfortable. The kids loved their room with trundle beds, tv and table soccer. The pool was a hit with the kids although a little cold for the adults. We enjoyed relaxing in the various indoor/outdoor seating areas and playing cricket and badminton on the expansive lawns. The only downside was the poor water pressure and temperature control in the showers but I put that down to older plumbing. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great spot for a weekend

This was our second stay at Kevalier Park. It is very comfortable with lots of different areas for groups to sit both inside and out. Loads of different entertainment options - board games, ping pong, pool table, swimming pool, bikes, sporting equipment - and a nice walk into town. We made plenty of use of the fireplace (firewood was provided) and the pool, which is heated to a comfortable temperature rather than being warm. The wifi was not working and we were disappointed that the spa which we had enjoyed previously has now been covered over and is out of use. However, our overall stay was fantastic, and South Coast Holidays were really helpful.
