Lovely stay in Port St. Charles

We loved everything about our stay in Port St. Charles! Allan was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The check-in process was easy, and the condo had everything that we needed...and then some. The condo was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the location and would definitely go back.

A Perfect Stay in Port St. Charles

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hidden gem in Port St. Charles. From the moment we booked, Allan was the perfect host—gracious, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. He answered all our questions promptly before our arrival and even stocked the place with breakfast essentials, which was such a considerate touch—especially since the next day was a holiday and most shops were closed. The space itself was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly situated. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you so much, Allan, for making our stay so special!

Exquisite!

Words cannot express how wonderful our stay has been. Allan is extremely helpful and called us to make sure we had everything we needed. The property and grounds are gorgeous. There is a private beach and two swimming pools. This is like your own private resort. We will definitely come again! Thanks again for everything, Allan!

Excellent Experience

The property has three bedrooms each with an ensuite which was perfect for our group of six adults. Upon arrival the owner greeted us and answered all our questions. The excellent beach is a short walk or you can use the free water taxi. At the beach there are plenty of free chairs and umbrellas with an attendant to set everything up. The infinity pool has a swim up bar. The onsite restaurant is a short walk and is very good. The property is clean, well equipped and looks like the pictures. The owner was readily available during our stay. We had a great experience.

Great winter getaway

My husband and I stayed at spinnaker for a week in January. Both the large and small beach were beautiful. The view of the marina lagoon from the property is very nice. You can see fish and turtles from your patio. We had several lunches at the yacht club and ventured off the property for sunset cocktails and dinners. There are many delicious restaurants in speightstown and holetown. Allan was a great host. He met us at the property, supplied us with a welcome package (coffee, tea and breakfast items), gave us directions (it was our first time on the island) and made sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation and a comfortable stay. Both the villa and island were beautiful and we can't wait to return! Thanks for your help Allan!

Beautiful villa in a spectacular setting!

We stayed at Spinnaker in Port St Charles earlier this month and it was a truly incredible experience. Having stayed in various high-end hotels in Barbados over the years I can say that this villa exceeded those earlier experiences on all levels. I am still teased by memories of waking up (late) and gazing out through the arch-top windows upstairs, seeing the yacht masts swaying in the breeze. Confession - I like boats. The gentle clinking of the stays, and lapping of waves on hulls on the rare occasion that a boat passed through, was music to me. There are a number of excellent restaurants nearby. We ate dinners and some lunches at The Fishpot, Lone Star and a nearby rustic fishing village for more local fare. Since there is a full kitchen in the villa, we mostly had breakfast al fresco on the beautiful verandah/dining room. One caution - the verandah can be a bit sunny in the late afternoon, but this quickly redeems itself as a vantage point for watching the lovely sunsets (around 6 pm this time of year). We spent much of our time on the beach, and as the water is very calm on this leeward side, renting various watercraft. We enjoyed the privacy and security that the marina setting afforded, but would venture out for sightseeing occasionally. I would recommend Spinnaker without hesitation for couples (with or without children) and friend/family groups. We are already planning for next year!

Beautiful property in a idyllic setting

Port St Charles has the most beautiful beach we've seen in Barbados and this property is a lovely place to stay and enjoy. The property is spacious, well maintained and equipped.

Excellent villa.

Thanks so much Allan! The only problem with writing an excellent review is other people will rent when we want to go back! It will become even more popular! On the plane going home now- I would definitely rent again. To make this real I will post one criticism. The coffee maker is a French press. While other countries may enjoy that it is hard making coffee for a family of 7- too small. Delicious but small. So Allan please get a drip coffee maker (but if you do not we will still rent again!). Thank you for sharing your villa with us!

Amazing all around!

The villa is just perfect - well equipped, well situated, and the owner is very hospitable. Port St. Charles is our favourite on the island for it’s tranquility, friendly staff, gorgeous landscaping and two beautiful beaches.

Private Paradise

Barbados hosts the most consistent and wonderful weather of anywhere we have been. If you want a very quiet gorgeous beach this is your place. We were blown away by some local restaurants. Plenty of room and privacy in this villa to accommodate us all. The plunge pool was an unexpected saviour on days we chose to stay close to home. We do plan to return.

Beautiful!

Our family of 4, including a 9 and 13 year old, had a fantastic vacation here! The unit is beyond spacious, extremely clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and we enjoyed our meals on the back patio overlooking the harbour. In the evenings we loved the sunset view from the second floor balcony. My youngest spent a good amount of time in the plunge pool and my oldest loved kayaking to the 2 beaches and snorkeling on the reef off one of the beaches. Port St Charles itself feels extremely safe and is absolutely beautiful, the landscaping is gorgeous and the harbour water is so blue! We even had a family of turtles off our dock. We rented a car and enjoyed exploring this wonderful island and walking into the nearby town of Speightstown. Allan was also a very pleasant and accommodating host; there was even a starter package of food when we arrived and he checked in during the vacation to ensure everything was going well. 5+ stars!

Amazing!

We had an absolutely wonderful time here! The unit is very spacious (with tons of closet space) and the kids really enjoyed the plunge pool on the deck. The view from the 2nd-floor balcony is lovely and we liked sitting there on warm breezy nights (typical of Barbados). The place is very well stocked with lots of cooking necessities, towels, pillows, laundry detergent, a highchair, etc. Allan kindly left us a starter package of food, which was much appreciated and provided us with our first day's breakfast. Port St. Charles is a lovely, quiet resort and we love the tranquility of the 2 beaches and the warm ocean water. We rented a car while there and enjoyed day trips around the island. As always (this is our 4th trip here), the people of Barbados are some of the friendliest people we've ever met and we enjoyed lots of conversations with locals while touring the island. I can't recommend Barbados and PSC enough!

Very good

A lovely villa with large bedrooms. Loved the kayak and turtles swimming in the marina and around the yacht club. Scuba diving off the beach a big highlight for our boys.

Execellent atmosphere and accomodations in a beautiful and private setting

Barbados is an amazingly beautiful island and on the west coast the beaches are pristine, the water is clear and calm, and the sunsets are stunning. The Spinnaker is a wonderful three story villa in a gorgeous private yacht club which offers excellent service in a peaceful and delightful family atmosphere. We loved the privacy and our host was very accommodative. At night, we had clear skies blanketed with stars and were entertained by shooting stars clearly visible from the dock directly behind the villa. We kayaked our way to the pool and took a water taxi to the beach and restaurant for lunch. I highly recommend this location for young families or couples looking for a serene getaway.

Perfect Villa in a Perfect Location

The villa caters for all needs & the host is very welcoming & accomodating to individual needs. Port St Charles is a great place to be.... It is secure, clean & very peaceful. It also has great amenities including a water taxi (whihc the children loved!) to take you between your villa & the amazing beach (sun loungers available on request) or either of the 2 pools - one being at the Yacht Club where food/drink is also available. There are lots of good places to eat out - all expensive so be prepared .. but then so is the supermarket shop. All-in-All a fantastic week - thank you.

You couldn't want for more...

We have just stayed in this exceptionally serene and beautiful property for a week and had to force ourselves out when our time was up. It is the kind of place you feel at home the instant you arrive and are taken care of from start to finish. With Allan the ever so gracious host, to the fully self-sufficient accommodation, you are made to feel a sense of comfort, relaxation, elegance and luxury. What more could you want on a holiday?

stunning villa on the marina

Just got back to the UK after an amazing stay in port st Charles. Allan was a fantastic host and could not have been more helpful, organising a crib and highchair for our daughter. the villa is beautiful, fully fitted kitchen with all the equipment you'll need. laundry room with huge American style top loader machines. Great wifi throughout the villa was a bonus and was useful for keeping the kids entertained during the midday sun. spent Many a hour on the terrace with the kids playing in the pool and we also rented a paddle board which we kept on the marina. I thoroughly recommend port st Charles for anyone considering Barbados as its a private Marina community with excellent security, great beaches, the Yacht club with a swim up bar and great food. five stars all the way. we will be back next year
