Chalet Log Home In Peaceful Mountain Setting - That's Firefly Cabin

Our minimum rental period is 4 months.

All one level, great room with french doors to the deck. Master bedroom with king size bed and french doors opening on to covered deck. Second bedroom has queen bed.

Propane gas log fireplace, 75" flat screen in living room. Both bedroom have wall mounted flat screens. Propane grill and fire pit also on site. 40 mpbs Fiber Optics WiFi Internet. IPTV is available plus you can log into your Netflix or Hulu account. There is a printer you can use, it is Wifi capable.

I do not supply paper products.

Cabin sits on 2.5 acres. Deck is very private. Neighbors roof tops are barely visible through the trees. Roads are paved except for last 300 ft to cabin. Top of the ridge, tall trees swaying in the breeze most days.

Cabin is equal distance to Murphy, Blue Ridge and Blairsville. Right in the heart of great trails to hike, white water rafting, great antique stores and Flea markets.

The kitchen is well equipped with most everything you would need to cook easy meals.

Cherokee county has a very good website giving info of things to do in the area, google Things To Do in Cherokee County North Carolina.

No Smoking or Vaping; No Pets

There is a security camera at the front that looks at the front parking area, at any vehicles that arrive. No cameras inside the cabin.

Beautiful place and everything you would need

We loved the cabin. It was quite and the bedroom was very comfortable. We got to see deers in the evening. Great tv package for the evening when you stay in.

Secluded, charming and just what we needed

The property is in a great spot not too far from town but far enough to help you feel as though you're getting away. The cabin was spotless and everything worked as promised. We relaxed on the back porch sipping coffee and looking for wildlife. We loved it so much we're considering making this an annual destination.

Great place to relax

The property was perfect. Cabin immaculate It was just what my family needed. We wish we could have stayed longer there is so much to see and do in this area. Or you can just do nothing. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Amazing!

The images honestly don't do the cabin enough justice! It's beautiful and the porch looks right into the mountains. Though, we arrived at night making it a little harder to find, it was great having your own space. So peaceful! The town of Murphy is small with plenty of activities or just an awesome place to getaway for the weekend. Id recommend this cabin to anyone visiting Murphy, NC. Very inexpensive, we will definetly be back!

Cozy home away from home!

The chalet was exactly as expected! Clean, warm, and comfortable! We had everything we needed, kitchen is extremely well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes etc. Even had a waffle maker! Beds are very comfortable! Maps, area attractions guides, games, firewood, etc! Tennessee a short distance down the road with lots of great hiking trails! I highly recommend staying here! We were at a cozy home and wished we could stay longer!

This rental is the perfect place for a couple looking for a mountain getaway.

This quaint, little cabin is suited for 4 guests and absolutely wonderful for 2 guests. The kitchen, dining, and living areas are open and spacious. The owners have the kitchen fully stocked for all of your cooking needs. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are comfortable and uncrowded, as well. My favorite place to spend time was on the large deck. There is no over-crowding of other rental cabins, either. Firefly Cabin is placed at the top of a small mountain in a seemingly nice, safe community area.

Our Spring vacation in the Mountains

We decided at the last minute to rent the cabin...the owners & the folks at Exit Realty were extremely accomodating & helpful. The cabin was nice & clean, well stocked with items you need. The high-end finishes made it especiallly nice & the king size bed was very comfortable! The living room furniture & soft blankets were new, clean & cozy. We enjoyed watching the sunset several evenings off the peaceful back deck. The River Walk coupled with the blooming dogwoods & flowers around Murphy were beautiful. The local restaurants were also great!! Blairsville, Hayesville, Hiawasse & Blue Ridge are all small, quaint towns with lots of neat little shops. We love the area & would recommend this cabin! Thanks for sharing it!!

Great time!

The cabin was lovely, even nicer than the photos. I was pleasantly surprised at how well appointed the kitchen was. We cooked all of our meals for 5 days at the house and I had everything I needed, even a crock pot! Plenty of serving ware and tools as well. We enjoyed relaxing at the cabin on the cozy comfortable furnishings after awesome days of hiking nearby. We had two boys traveling with us (5 and 8 years old) and they also enjoyed it tremendously. It was nice to be able to give them plenty of freedom to play outside without having to worry about cars etc. Be sure to bring the directions as cell service stops quite a ways before the cabin. It's a little tricky to find at night, but pay careful attention and you will (it's marked).

Excellent. Nicest rental cabin we have ever stayed in.

Can’t share enough good things to say! The cabin was immaculate and well furnished and supplied. We cooked all our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the large porch and peaceful surroundings. If directions for the tv remotes could be posted it would have made that process a little easier but we eventually figured it out. A dimmer on the kitchen table overhead light would be nice as well. We had an amazing stay and enjoyed everything immensely. Check in and out was a breeze as well. Definitely want to come back in the fall to enjoy the foliage. We did not see any wildlife this time so we’re hoping to see some next time. Thank you for sharing your home. Don and Robin Christie

Beautiful, peaceful mountain chalet that boasts of comfort.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at the Firefly Chalet for his birthday week. This place is perfect for relaxation and comfort. The inside has pine walls, ceiling and floors which add to the feel of a country retreat. The king bed in the master was so comfortable. We could see mountains through the leaves on the trees, but in winter I am sure it is a great view. The area was private with hardly any sound from the neighbors. The road/driveway to the cabin is gravel, but the rest of the road is paved. All the furnishings were provided, including a grill on the porch where we grilled steaks on my husband's birthday. The kitchen has everything you need, with beautiful furnishings. The chalet is close to many towns with rivers, lakes, and streams all around. We love this cabin and hope to return again.

Perfect Cabin For A Quick Getaway

What a wonderful vacation experience my family and I recently had in Bonnie's and David's Cabin located in the Mountains of Murphy North Carolina. Being our first time renting a cabin in the mountains we didn't know what to expect. As diligent travelers we did our share of research reading all the reviews left by other visitors and while all the reviews we read were positive, we booked the cabin questioning whether we made the right decision or not. Let me tell you that our doubts were put to rest the second we drove up the hill leading to the cabin and seeing this gorgeous picturesque cabin warmly greet us after a long 12 hour drive from South Florida. The pictures while accurate and beautiful do not do it justice compared to seeing it in real life. The inside was just as impressive. From the mountain life inspired decor to the amenities and creature comforts of our modern world it had everything one needed for a relaxing getaway. Did I mention how spotless and organized the cabin was? The beds were ultra comfortable to ensure a good and restful sleep. Bonnie and David surely spared no expense in ensuring their guests would be as comfortable as they would in any 5 star hotel. Overall we had a great experience and would not hesitate in recommending this cabin to others looking for a great cabin at a great price.

Amazing!

This cabin was the cleanest cabin I have ever rented. Everything was clean. No dust at all. When they say fully equipped kitchen they mean it. The cabin was above my expectations! Detailed directions was provided which made the cabin very easy to find after the gps no longer provided directions. The owners and realtor were friendly with a very quick response. I 100% recommend and look forward to doing business with them again.

Ladies getaway

Everything was absolutely perfect, from the location, the furnishings and the nice stocked kitchen. The only negative was no working can opener. Firefly Cabin Vacation

We had a great vacation at Firefly Cabin. The cabin is beautiful, the layout is great for 2 couples, the area around the cabin is pretty and relaxing. Most of all, the cabin was clean and well appointed. You have everything you need for a great stay. The lights in the tree at night were a nice touch! The property manager was pleasant, helpful and professional. We highly recommend Firefly Cabin !

Anniversary getaway

Pictures are exactly what you get. Great assortment of utensils and dishes. Love the power strips in the living area for phones and tablets. Very convenient. Modern appliances and all in working order. Spent many hours on the porch. Rocking chairs very comfy. Mama deer and two babies came twice a day. Would recommend for a quiet getaway. Already thinking about renting again next year for anniversary #53. Thank you Dave and Bonnie for sharing your little piece of the mountain for a little peace and quiet.

Cabin Hunting

My wife and I needed a base camp for the week as we were looking for a retirement property in the area. The cabin was in a great spot and it was quiet the entire week. Lots of deer outside the cabin which was great to see. Would highly recommend the cabin in the future.

Dave and Bonnie, we are from Florida and just fell in love with Firefly Cabin. It's so quiet, great escape from the heat and humidity. Dave grew up in New Hampshire, Bonnie in Washington state, we did not realize how much we missed the mountains, trees and the change of seasons until we started visiting North Carolina.

Quite often our good friend Rhonda joins us. She loves the hiking and fishing as much as we do. She is in our owner picture.

You feel like your in the mountains even though your very close to Murphy, Blue Ridge and Blairsville. Every trip we see more animals. Last trip be saw a bobcat, we always see deer, occasionally we see raccoons, and the fat squirrel is most always there. Still have not seen a Bear, but we have heard tell they are in the area. All you need is bag of deer corn and some bird seed for the bird feeder to draw in the wildlife.

Quiet and peaceful, enjoy the quite, read, watch a movie, just talk. There is full internet service, but you can turn it off.
