Checking in and out was easy. Location good for beach access and other local attractions. The condo was clean but the upholstery and rugs need to be cleaned. The queen mattress and pillows are worn down. Overall it needs some updating.

Great Community - Condo less than desired

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has great potential for being a great place to stay. Amenities outside are wonderful. The unit was found to be poorly stocked and decor very outdated. Owner should stay and try to cook a meal. They will realize they are missing a lot of necessities.

Great Condo

This condo is exactly as advertised. Loved how easy it was to get to the pool and the beach. Check in was easy and we had no issues that required contacting the management otherwise. Condo unit was quiet even though the complex was full of guests. Only con was that there is very little beachfront in this area so that made the beach seem more crowded. Definitely a great place to stay if you want to be in the middle of it all as it was just a few blocks from hwy 59 intersection.

Sandpiper Condos

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Sandpiper but this our first experience with Bender. Condo was not clean at check-in and the only accommodation made was to come in and re-clean once we were settled in. We have never had this experience before.
Resposta de VrboOwner em 23 de mai. de 2022
Our office is open seven days a week with housekeeping and maintenance on staff in order to address any needs a guest may have. While we consider the poor housekeeping to be unacceptable, we are happy to have been able to correct the problem. We hope that you enjoyed your stay in Sandpiper.

Needs updating

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dated decor, paint chipping off walls and doors, nats flying out of bathroom sink (no stopper), bathroom sink faucet leaks all over the countertop. At $250/night, provide sufficient full bars of soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, and more than ONE single trash bag for seven nights. The pool heater was not on as promised. Good location for the beach, and the complex is very clean and management friendly.
Resposta de VrboOwner em 2 de abr. de 2023
We hope that you enjoyed your stay in Gulf Shores and at Sandpiper. We regret that the pool heater did not work and hope that our compensation helped make up for any inconvenience. Since your stay, a brand new heather has been installed. As mentioned in all correspondence, condos are provided with an initial supply of toilet paper and soap; enough to get through the first day of vacation. We hope to be able to assist you in booking your next visit to the Gulf Coast!

Love Gulf Shores

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Sandpiper which is a lovely set of condos designed for socialization. I never felt isolated the people were friendly and fun. Our unit had a nice location but definitely needs updating. The carpet has the tacks coming through and we had to be careful where we stepped. My only recommendation is heat the pool! It is beautiful an inviting to see but sadly not heated for use in January and February. One last shout out to Bender Realty, they are great to work with. The 2 Small issues we had were handled quickly and sent very qualified people to fix the problem. Highly recommend everything. We are staying again next year. In a more updated unit!

Gulf Shores Vacation at the Sandpiper

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location to go to the Beach. There is only one Pool which could be a little bigger, but it was fine. Some titles in the Condo are cracked but OK. The Kitchen was missing the Dust Pan and a Can Opener. The Big Lamp in the second bedroom had a broken switch, but there was a little Lamp I could use. The second bedroom has a Balcony, but the chairs were broken and unusable. The Elevator broke once, but was quickly fixed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bender Reality was amazing to deal with. They helped me plan a Senior Trip for 30 people. We rented condos 3b, 9b, 10b, 11b, 12b, 13b, 14b, and 15b! Condos were pretty clean (a little sand it in floor understandable! Several of the condos had an order like burnt bacon in them when we walked in. After spraying Lysol and air freshener the smell went away. We had a blast and the condos were perfect for us. Beds were comfy and condos were nice and cool. A couple of the condos decoration were mix and match but didn’t bother us. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Good option for a family vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the sandpiper for fall break. Overall the experience was great! The heated pool was perfect for my little ones to play in after dinner and sunset. Our room was clean. Just enough space for our family of 5. The only 2 not so great things, the cookware sucks, I had to go to target and buy myOwn skillet & the beds were mega uncomfortable and really small for 2 adults (my husband and I) we actually ended up sleeping on the fold out couch it was more comfortable than the bed. The easy access to the beach made up for that though! The ladies in the office at Bender were extremely helpful and very kind.
