It is steps away from the beach and is close to popular restaurants, shops and the casino.

A wide and diverse range of indoor recreational activities are provided for on the lower level of Pelican Reach including a 9 foot antique Brunswick "Challenger" pool table, a three-in-one game/poker/bumper pool table and a Sony PlayStation 2 video game console.

An eclectic book library, wireless internet and numerous table games are also available for your relaxation, entertainment and amusement.

Large beautiful home but much in need of maintenance. Numerous neglected issues. The refrigerator door was broken and wouldn't close completely. The microwave was taped up with duct tape. Many of the window blinds were broken and couldn't be opened or closed. One bedroom toilet lever was broken, had to lift tank cover and pull chain to flush. Front door latch broken. The listing stated air hockey, there was none. Also there is almost no view of the ocean since it is surrounded by trees and houses. We won't be returning.

After receiving your review, we scheduled a professional deep clean and sanitizing of the hot tub and asked our maintenance team to inspect it for any needed repairs. We also refilled the propane and have added a pre-arrival checklist to confirm propane levels and hot tub condition for future guests. My family really enjoyed our time at this house! The rooms were by far the best part! All large and so many bathrooms it was perfect for a larger group. The location was great too! Hottub was warm, bbq had propane, and amenities were great.

Perfect home for family

From start to finish, this home was perfect for our family as we celebrated our mother, our sister, our friend. Clean, very relaxing, plenty of room and the game room was a hit! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Plenty of Space, Amenities, and Beach Access

This property was very clean and accommodating for our people and purpose. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub (one of our top three reasons for choosing this property) was not available to us.

perfect for our big family

Upon arrival the house was lovely. It was spacious, clean, and room for everyone. We did have a few mishaps with our stay that were not ideal, although communication was prompt and precise. The management made sure we were taken care of and that was appreciated. We will definitely come back again!

Family Reunion

The home is older, but comfortable. All essential appliances, dishes, pots and pans were available. There is a Safeway supermarket just a half mile from the rental. The beds were comfortable and accommodated our large group. It's location was ideal. The beach near the property was lovely and many other beaches and attractions are nearby. While there were some water views, you really don't look out on the ocean.

Only suggestion would be have sand toys and toys for smaller kids. Some window coverings and screen slider were broken, but otherwise awesome place!

The Gathering Place

The VRBO was perfect for our family's needs and allowed everyone to come together to celebrate the lives of our parents in a meaningful way. The great room and kitchen area were the heart of the rental, providing ample space for everyone to gather and share stories and memories. We were able to display picture albums and posters of our parents' early days that added a special touch to the occasion and made it even more memorable. Thank you for providing such a welcoming environment for guests. I hope that others consider this VRBO rental for future family gatherings or getaways!

Family Portland vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were 24 of us in this beautiful house. There is not one person from our group who did not enjoy staying at this house. Location to the beach couldn't have been better! My only request is that for future large groups is that they supply a griddle or at least one more fry pan. I struggled with breakfast preparing with only one small fry pan. We would definitely stay here again.

Pelican Reach

Great house, but 3 flights of stairs to get to the main level was too much. No view of the beach really, which isn’t the fault of the property owners. Neighbors trees are very tall. Overall great place though. Huge kitchen and living area. Bring dish towels, we only had 2 for 5 days and dishes for 9 people.

Several coffee pots and mixers, but some are broken.

Fantastic house for a large group

The house has ample room for gathering together as well as plenty of space for seeking room for separate activities. Very nicely furnished, and comfortable beds (although it’s always a good idea to bring your own pillow wherever you stay). Fully stocked everything. Friendly communicative host. Beach access close at hand, although not quite as close to the sand as the pictures allowed me to believe (my mistake, not a misrepresentation by the host). The neighborhood apparently has a 7pm noise restriction, which we tried to honor. Still, something to keep in mind if you’re at all a noisy bunch.

Birthday Celebration

The guys had fun in the game room while the women had fun in the hot tub.The house is well equipped with everything you could need.We will be back every year to celebrate our birthday's. Next year will be birthday's plus a wedding.We had a couple get engaged while we were there!Overall a great house and loved everything about it!
