Glad you liked the home and the views. We try to be completely open with our guests to make sure they have all the information. This location is best for kayaking (kayak provided) since there are rocks upon entry into the sea. The seaweed is a force of nature, which we cannot control. The island has been experiencing issues this year with seaweed, depending on location. It comes and goes, depending on the seas and weather patterns. It is our pleasure to assist you with any future travel to the island.

Regarding the kayak, this amenity was removed from our listing in early 2024. We’ve taken steps to ensure all property descriptions reflect this update. It’s possible there may have been confusion with a neighboring property or a previous listing viewed elsewhere, but we strive to keep all details accurate and current. As for the air conditioner, our villas include posted guidance on ideal temperature settings to help prevent issues like freezing. In this instance, the settings were adjusted below those recommendations, which unfortunately led to the unit malfunctioning. A technician was dispatched promptly after we were contacted to assess and begin repairs. When it comes to insects, we understand it can be unexpected for some guests. While we perform regular preventative maintenance, Cayman’s tropical climate and beachfront environment occasionally bring natural elements with them — something typical across island destinations. We were genuinely surprised to hear that the communication felt unkind, as this is not reflective of the interactions we strive for. Our property management team consistently receives positive feedback for their attentiveness and professionalism. We take all guest feedback seriously and will use this as an opportunity to ensure every guest continues to feel valued and respected throughout their stay.
