The main living area is upstairs, with soaring vaulted ceilings and big picture windows that bring the forest right inside. The open layout is perfect for hanging out after a day of adventure, and everything’s fresh and updated:

A brand-new queen sleeper sofa, loveseat, chair, coffee table, and rug (2024)

A wood-burning fireplace for chilly evenings and a Mini split cooling system for warmer days



Wi-Fi and a TV for movie nights or streaming your favorite shows

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up meals—from a full breakfast spread to a lazy pasta night. Sit inside at the dining table or head out to the large deck, where you’ll find a Weber grill and plenty of seating. Oh—and did we mention the Nespresso machine? Pods are on us, so your morning coffee is covered.

Downstairs Retreat – Rest Easy

Take the charming spiral staircase down to the lower level, where you’ll find two comfy bedrooms and another full bath:

Bedroom 2: Twin-over-queen bunk bed with all new mattresses and bedding (2024)—perfect for families or groups

Full Bathroom: Tub/Shower combo located in the lower level



Things to Know

Streaming services are available with guests’ personal accounts.

Guests must climb a flight of stairs to access this home.

The spiral staircase may not be well suited for those with mobility issues. (Both bedrooms are located on the lower floors.)

Guest Access:

You will have full access to the indoor salt water pool and huge hot tub. In summer, you can go to Whitefish Lake via our private lot or enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and kids playground.



The Neighborhood:

We are located 45 minutes from Glacier National Park 5 minutes to downtown Whitefish and 5 minutes to the Summit of Big Mountain and Whitefish Mountain Resort.



Other Things to Note:

Ptarmigan Village is a four season resort. Consider Spring and Fall for great rates on your stay and avoid the crowds!
