This renovated, upscale condo in Chelan features lake views, easy access to recreational activities, and amenities like a shared pool, hot tub, tennis/basketball courts, and a dock.

This vacation rental is located between the towns of Manson and Chelan, allowing guests to easily visit Chelan's charming downtown, with its shops and restaurants, and Manson's many wineries. Boats, kayaks, paddle boats, and stand-up paddleboards are available for rent in Chelan, and the complex has a beach and boat launch, as well as a dock for guests who have their own. Other activities/rentals include jet skiing, float plane rides, and helicopter rides. The lake has a bike path around its perimeter, and the Lady of the Lake Ferry runs to the town of Stehekin.

No complaints for short stay

My family stayed in this units for just 2 nights. The adults appreciated the size and firmness of the king bed. The sofa bed was ok for one kid to sleep on but probably wouldn't have been comfortable for an adult. We had to ask the office for a fitted sheet for the sofa bed as one was not provided. There were blinds on all living room windows which was nice, but only the room with twin beds had a blackout blind. In general, the unit was as pictured, with the exception of no coffee table. Counter height dining and patio set weren't the most comfortable but we knew what we were getting. We felt that the unit was clean. We didn't cook during our stay but the kitchen seemed well stocked with pots/pans/dishes/utensils. Just don't expect much in the way of coffee/tea/spices. And bathrooms only had one bar of soap and one small shampoo. There were some pool noodles in the closet that the kids appreciated. We had plenty of towels. Would stay here again as we like having 2 bedrooms and enjoy the proximity to the lake and other amenities that the Shores offers.

Upgrades Needed

While the view from the balcony is beautiful, this unit needs some upgrades. The furniture inside and on the patio is uncomfortable and worn. The master bedroom bed is too hard, the side tables are flimsy, and the TV is small and old. Additionally, the carpeting is dirty-my husbandā€™s white socks were black on the bottom from walking on it. The BBQ on the porch has grease running down the side and the pad it sits on is filthy. Finally, there was a red stain on one of the pillow covers in the master bedroom. On a positive note, the grounds at Chelan Shores are beautifully maintained.

Not Worth the High Rental Rate!

Weā€™ve been visiting Lake Chelan Shores for 10 years. This was our least enjoyable experience. As always the views are amazing and the grounds / lake access are superb. This unit (17-10) is outdated with very uncomfortable furniture inside and on the patio. However the beds are great! The old carpet is filthy! It left our socks and bare feet so dirty- itā€™s pretty gross. The WiFi in the entire building is much more miss than hit. When I asked the front desk about why it keeps cutting out, they said thereā€™s nothing they can do and both building #16 and #17 are very spotty. When your family canā€™t enjoy a movie at night because of the constant buffering, itā€™s a real bummer. We have 3 teens, so you know how important that WiFi is! Nowā€¦we chose to rent this unit and we know Chelan is getting more expensive every year, but $2100 (after all the Vacasa fees) for just THREE nights is not something weā€™ll do again.

Great spot

We had a winter stay, & loved every aspect. The only issue is the amenities listed above did not have the same hours as were posted, which meant we were not really able to use the amenities offered. Besides this, however, the stay itself was nearly perfect, especially the room & the service offered. Absolutely recommend this place to stay, just be cautious that amenities may not be available

Nice view, the resort has nice amenities, 5 pools, lake access, and sport courts. This unit didn't have comfortable seating for a family of 5. The one small fold out couch and chair was uncomfortable. Also the unit only had one dish cloth and no scrubber to clean dishes. No cleaner for the counter tops.

Anniversary Weekend Getaway

This condo is very nice and updated, with a fabulous view of Lake Chelan and close to all points of the lake. Very comfortable King Size bed - and several amenities that create the comforts of home. We would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

The place had everything that we needed. We enjoyed the pools and the tennis courts. There was something for everyone. It was also nice to have a rental place for water toys right in the complex.

Nice Unit - Weak A/C

Plenty of seating and nice view of pool. But the A/C is old and the unit was warm at night. Had maintenance come out three times and replaced fuses and thermostat. They concluded owner needs a new A/C unit.

adequate accommodation

The unit was adequate but nothing more. The deck furniture is inappropriate for the space: low chairs and table made it difficult to sit anywhere except around the table. In the living room there were only two places to sit at normal levels -- the couch and one armchair. Again, having bar chairs limits the ability to use the chairs for general sitting (there were 5 of us, so two people had to perch on the barstool/chairs. Supplies of soap and shampoo are very stingy (the little round bars of soap are almost useless and the soft soap dispenser that was in one bathroom was almost empty). In this day and age there should be wider access to TV shows. For instance, having a Netflix or other portals where the guests have to use their own account would be easy to set up. The kitchen supplies were good. Beds were comfortable.

perfect getaway

We love Lake Chelan Shores and the unit we rented was next to a 1 bedroom so for our family of six adults and some kids this worked out great. The condo had everything we needed. the views are perfect. the pool was right below so fun to be able to watch the kids swim. I would suggest that the unit have more than a couch and one chair for living room seating. its hard to sit more than two on a couch and then the one chair. ( just a suggestion)

Great Unit at Lake Chelan

This unit was great for our family of four. Even though the kids had to share a bedroom, there was plenty of space inside and out for them to not feel crowded. The condo was nice, and the amenities at the complex made for a great vacation.

What a great few days I had. So peaceful and pleasant. Clean and beautiful. The rooms are cozy. The grill works. Great balcony with table and chairs. Plenty of space in the kitchen and living rooms. Pools are close. Beautiful stay.

Perfect View

Pros Unit is very nice, right in front of a pool. Very Good views and abundance of light. Comfortable beds including the sofa bed. Well stocked kitchen with utensils etc. You can walk down to the water in 3 mins within the complex. Close to shopping and restaurants. Cons: The beds in the guest room is very narrow. The microwave range hood does not vent air outside and recirculated in the unit so we avoided using the kitchen too much. This needs to be addressed. Overall very happy with the place and will be back.

Nice place, great view

The condo is very clean and nicely laid out. The view was beautiful. I loved having coffee out on the deck loking out onto the lake. The only thing I would say could use updating is the pull out couch. Its advertised as sleeping 6, with the pull out couch. The mattress is very thin and slopes downward toward the head when laying on it. If that could be fixed it would make this unit great. Other than that- we had a great time and would book again fr four of us.
