Relaxing

Apartment is lovely but no cooling apart from fans and carrying luggage for a family of 6 up 3 flights of stairs was a struggle.

Great veiws close to beach.Short drive to shops. To many steps to unit we need to be a bit fitter.Unit needs a bit of upkeep on wardrobes and fly screens.Great place though for a relaxing holiday especially on front balcony watching the parragliders who take off across the road

The apartment was beautifully styled with elegant touches like chandeliers and charming decor that made it feel really special. The layout was ideal, and the timber floors added a lovely warmth. Having a secure lock-up garage was a great bonus, and the after-hours key collection option made check-in super convenient. We had a fantastic stay! Only downfalls were attention to detail to cleaning, clearer welcome info, improved accessibility, and a few updates to enhance the overall stay.

Reviewer Comments: Hi, we enjoyed our stay, especially the spacious rooms, the chandeliers and the magnificent views. This is a really unique and delightful apartment. We were disappointed with the kitchen; eg, fridge and drawers hadn’t been wiped out/ dripping tap / very poor quality saucepans (including a large pot and frypan with damaged handles, which are dangerous to use), stools at kitchen bench too wobbly to sit on. The general cleaning wasn’t great-lots of dust and cobwebs (I can send a photo of the massive cobweb between the kitchen bench and sliding door). Making some small changes would give this property a big lift.

My family and I stayed in this apartment for a week and were unfortunately quite disappointed with its condition. The apartment was not clean on arrival. There was dust hanging off the walls and visible on tables, the tables in the living room had crumbs when we arrived, the fridge had not been cleaned and had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the bed linen had marks and an odd odour. My family and I had to buy additional cleaning products to clean parts of the apartment. The washing machine also had mould, and when we attempted to use it, we were unable to open the door for two days despite trying multiple methods.We requested additional linen from Lifestyle, and while it was provided, it unfortunately contained mould spores, making it unusable.Initially, Lifestyle were accommodating and responsive; however, toward the end of our stay they stopped responding to our concerns, which was very disappointing.The location and view are lovely, but unfortunately this did not make up for staying in an apartment that was not clean or well maintained.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Refreshing views and space. Loved seeing dolphins and whales from the balcony each day. Comfortable towels and sheets, though the provision of hand towels and more than 1 tea towel would be helpful. Also you may need to consider signage asking people not to feed the kookaburras. I suspect this has been happening as for the first time we were unable to eat at the outdoor table without kookaburras snatching our food, despite our best efforts. Otherwise, everything was fabulous! Thank you!

Numerous reasons why we re-book every year... superb location, multiple living areas (indoors and out) including multiple verandah’s to enjoy the spectacular view. Garage for parking and car charging. Laundry inside, on the premises. 2 full bathrooms. The unit has been refurbished notably with fresh floor coverings, an extra TV in the 3rd bedroom, comfy brand new mattresses, brand new ceiling fans, brand new fridge. The unit also comes with some holiday fitness as there are 3 flights of stairs to climb. 😊 Love this accommodation. We have already re-booked again for next year.

Spacious family unit with spectacular views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were disappointed to discover the dishwasher was out of order and we had to buy extra tea towels as we hadn’t planned to hand wash. The real estate were apologetic. Most of the screen doors are either broken or the mesh is non existent, which was a shame as the sea breezes came in along with mozzies. However the big safety concern was the metal door and window frames in the lounge area which rattled quite significantly with the wind. The glass was a bit broken in one area and our children were fearful that the window was going to move/shatter. Thankfully we were all safe and had a lovely holiday. This info is for future stays/guests & the overall maintenance of such a great property

Reviewer Comments: This unit will appeal to people who like retro things and spectacular views. It was great to be able to sit in the living area and see the ocean. Inside the unit was very spacious, and relatively clean and comfortable with good lounge area with TV and WIFI. The location is excellent close to beaches and to the main shopping centre. For us the views well and truly made up for any minor things and we had a relaxing holiday but it wouldn't suit people who cannot manage a lot of stairs and the high decks although they have good balustrading might worry some parents of young children.

Great place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was excellent for staying with grandchildren, only a few minutes walk to beach and park with playground. Central to all other facilities.The unit was a bit musty on arrival probably due to several weeks of heavy rain but cleared up quickly when opening doors and windows.The garage associated with the unit was also very musty due to recent heavy wet weather but did not park the car in there because I didn't want the car to take up mustiness, however, this did not detract from stay as sufficient parking on site.Maintenance items needing attention for future stays - the fan in the main bedroom did not seem to work. Toilet in ensuite reported as not flushing properly but still worked ok, light switchplate in the kitchen was loose and needs tightening. Shower rose in main bathroom spurting water out top but still worked OK but needs attention. Long-term issue, sliding doors difficult to move due to proximity to saltwater damage, tracks seemed OK so may just need door wheels replaced. Windows are also quite tight to move again due to proximity to saltwater.Overall still an excellent value unit for a family stay.

Great views. Quirky older apartment, including a bar! New kitchen. Unrenovated bathroomsI large ensuite walkin robe. 1 with bunk beds. 1 double. 3 of 4 fans work no aircon but great sea breeze. Great value.

Amazing

This is our new home away from home The place is massive easy fit 10 people the view is to die for we were meant to see family and ended up making them come to us because i didnt want to leave the balcony 🥰 Everything you need is there but sheets and towels Also if you need a lift please stear clear its 5 flights and my elderly family found it extremely difficult even the fitter ones

Outstanding views, lovely open plan area, rooms very spacious. Furniture was very tastefully furnished and outdoor setting on verandah was also fantastic. I will definitely be returning there again xx

Huge apartment with amazing views

The amazing views more than compensate for a few minor shortfalls. It's conveniently close to walks and beaches. The size is also very generous for families and groups: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, very large lounge/ dining area and numerous balconies. Shortfalls include lugging bags up several flights of stairs, an annoying fridge door, evidence of rodent activity (keep all your edible food in the annoying fridge). Overall, I would definitely stay here again. It was excellent value for money too.
