Two bedroom, newly renovated, small and cozy apartment unit. Each bedroom has a queen bed and theres a futon in the common area. All the basics for preparing simple meals are provided. Just about 5-6 minutes from the Airport. Less than 10 minutes away from beaches & Isla Verde tourist strip. Condado and Old San Juan less than 20 minutes. Rain Forest is only 35 minutes away & Ceiba port is about 45 minutes.

Segovia Studio Units is located in a middle class residential area. This house has been renovated into 5 independent units. Three studios and two two bedroom apartments.

Smoking & alcohol are not welcome on property.
As a courtesy to host, other guess and neighbors we will need you to refrain from parties, visitors & excessive noise. Also please upkeep property & turn off the A/C when leaving the room.

The place was clean and well maintained. I tried multiple times to contact the host without response. I didn't get check-in information until I reached out to them an hour before we got there.

Not for families or more than one couple

The apartment is very small and narrow. The living area consists of a futon, triangular table, a bench and two stools. Kitchen is equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and a two burner hot plate. No tv in the common area. Two queen bedrooms with A/C and TV's in each, but both missing out of one of the bedrooms. Kitchenware consisted of one large glass, one small glass and one mug with broken handle. Not exactly what we were expecting. I contacted the hosts to advise we were leaving a day early due to these concerns. One hour later, their housekeeper arrived to clean the house before we were ready to leave. No response from the host after we advised of our early departure.

Good location to airport but almost ruined our trip

We arrive to check-in and realized we never got a key code to check-in. After several attempts to reach the renter via the app and phone, we eventually contacted VRBO customer service. Eventually the owner reached out, said the cleaner never came as their cleaners were on vacation, and we could either rent it dirty or cancel and get a refund. It put is in a bad bind with three kids on the Easter holiday. The VRBO customer service rep talked to owner and then informed us that a new cleaner was found. We had to wait about another hour until it was ready so we eventually got in around 6:30 PM. Unit was recently updated and comfortable but zero frills. The cleaning was subpar (dirty towels and food left) and they never left sheets for pullout couch even thought we were charged for an extra person (our 3rd child). Unit is close to the airport, which is why we chose the place, but the stress and hassle of not being able to check in when we arrived and for awhile not even know if we had a place was not worth it. In the end it worked out for the most part - had a place to sleep- but the owner never even apologized or attempted to compensate us for the mishap and dirty conditions. We felt as if they left the country for the holiday and forgot they rented the unit for the night.

UNACCEPTABLE BY ALL MEANS!! HAZARDOUS!!!

Upon arrival there was a very loud sound outside, sounding like a motor or generator running then within the first two hours the power shut off completely then turned back on few minutes later… few hours later power went out again then took about 10-15 minutes to turn back on then throughout the night the power was out again only in this unit so I called and texted host numerous of times finally once connected with host they wouldn’t come out to assess the issue instead told me and my fiancé to get main key to their electrical room which had open wires complete hazard to jumpstart their breaker system! It was super hot on top of sleeping with a breathing machine to have it cut off on me in the middle of the night due to no electricity was scary!!! This entire experience was completely horrible! Even had to buy candles to be able to have lightening then worst of all the host to blame me for their clear unsafe electrical issue and to say the scent of the candles were so strong it left a odor is absurd! I paid hardworking money to have to NO POWER numerous of times then to have host respond in such manner! Also black mold in bathroom!!!! BE AWARE TAKE PRECAUTIONS!!!

Property owner was just so happen outside so he showed us how to get into the key system they have. Home was clean and stocked for the time spent. It would be a nice place for two couples or a small family. The location was okay but be prepared to hear everything, from loud music to neighborhood traffic since it is located on the corner and close to local hangout. Parking spot was a plus. The bed was comfortable but may need better pillows. The bathroom is small but has everything you need. The shower was okay but you have to be cautious of water being on the floor because there is no door or curtain to block it. The location seemed to be in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go. There is a grocery store nearby! Overall, it was worth what I paid and would stay again.

Pleasant

We only needed a place for one night. Our flight came in before check in and they graciously let us come early. Which was so much nicer then sitting at the airport. The place was clean and we where thankful to be able to have a place to prop our feet for a bit before we where off to the next. Overall the place was a great place to stay for one night. We enjoyed our time there.

This apartment is in a convenient location to the airport and downtown.

The hosts were very responsive to our needs. We had a little trouble with the internet at the start and they were on top of the glitch and had it fixed promptly. The apartment was clean and comfortable (especially the mattresses!).

Close to SJU, convenient, clean, safe

The beds!!!! Top notch comfort! Super clean! Check-in was effortless and we so appreciated the kindness & patience of Elizabeth's response in the early hours of our arrival. Thank you for a perfect rest right after a long day of travel!

Cute Apartment with Delightfully COLD Floors!

This apartment has remarkably cold floors. I have no idea why the floor is so much colder here, but I actually had to wear socks. If you have a problem with the heat, this is the apartment for you. We actually ran the air conditioner less in this apartment, than anywhere else that we stayed. Comfy beds, good air conditioning, although one remote was missing so we had to share one between the living room and one of the bedrooms. Nice bathroom. Kitchen is more like a motel than a home, but fine for food organization for snacks etc. No stove, a portable cooktop instead, if you want to cook anything. Found only one fork in the drawer. We were a party of 5. The advertised futon (which was to sleep the toddler) was not a futon, and seat was collapsed. Called the owner, who immediately sent an inflatable mattress over for our toddler. Neighborhood seemed pretty sketchy when driving to the location, but the block is clean and we certainly did enjoy the chickens in the street.

Overall a good location

I thought the place was nice and In a great location right near the airport and restaurants and stores. The rooms were big and very comfortable. The place had towels and toiletries which was nice. The only thing that I didn’t like and suggest to be fixed is the bathroom shower and sink, either the water was cold or extremely hot - there was plenty of times I got burnt and it made me scared my son would too. Also the kitchen had a horrible smell which was impossible to sit in the living room. Not sure what it was but the smell was horrible and got worse as the day went. Other than that everything was great and the owners were very helpful when needed. I would stay again if the items that suggested be fixed it would of made my stay 100%.

One night stay

Great location! We had a great stay. Plenty of towels. Cute neighborhood and my children were charmed by the chickens walking around. Also, you know your tropical when neighbors have gorgeous mango trees!

Very comfortable

Close to Airport & Walmart… For beaches & other activities you will need to take a Uber or drive 10-15 minutes away. Depending on what your looking for. But over all a nice house to stay!!! Oh bring your own wash rag..

Clean, updated apartment near airport

I stayed here for one night only so that we could get on an early flight out of SJU. The apartment is only 8 minutes from the airport, it is super clean, the beds, pillows, linens are very confortable and seemed new. The apartment seems recently remodeled with new, modern finishes. I would stay here again. Only thing I would have liked different was the check in time. Owner told me (before accepting my reservation request) check-in would be available at 8 pm. I agreed. Owner reached out requesting I call him to get check in details at 9:20. I called. Check in instructions were sent to me at 9:50om. Not a big deal given we were out having late dinner, but that may not be the case for other guests. Overall the place is very nice in a very convenient location.

Hi Astrid. It’s been a pleasure to host you. Sorry for the entry time inconvenience.  As you said we did advise you about this before you booked. Issue is that we don’t do Saturday check in ‘s. At times we’ll consider a Saturday check in’s if guest could checkin at night time.   As agreed we did expect you between 8:00 and 8:30 PM. After not seeing you we reached out to you after 9 PM.  Since we had personal at property awaiting your  arrival we didn’t forward the code to the key locker till after they left. Again sorry for the slight mishap and thanks for giving us the opportunity to host you. Striving to always improve.
