Luxury Desert Retreat-Walk to El Paseo

The Space

Fantastic new open-plan kitchen and living area make for a relaxing environment that opens up seamlessly to the outdoor living space. The bedrooms are luxurious - the master with a king-sized bed, sumptuous sheets, and a modern ensuite. The two other bedrooms have the same king sized beds, which are both detachable to make room for all guests as per your comfort.

The feature of the house really has to be the amazing outdoor space. Perfect for entertaining or just relaxing on your own, the garden has a full-sized heated pool, an 7 person hot tub as well as a pool table gazebo! The lounge space outside is perfect for evening drinks or an afternoon read. The gas BBQ is a new and very large with a gas ring for cooking, too.

The whole house is accessible to you during your stay!

Interaction with Guests

We'll be available by email if you have any questions at all, and are contactable by phone if need be as well. A list of great happy hour spots in the area that we love will be available as well as our recommendations for our favourite restaurants and things to do!

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood is wonderfully located. There are a couple of supermarkets which guests can reach on foot (10- 15 minute walk). We are only a few minutes walk away from the exclusive El Paseo which has every shop imaginable, including designer favourites! About a 10 minute drive from the house is the massive Westfield mall should you need more shops to peruse. There are many restaurants and bars along El Paseo that have fantastic happy hours that last all night!

We are also only a 25 minute drive away from the buzzing Palm Springs which makes for wonderful day trips as well great nightlife.

GOLF GOLF GOLF! The Shadow Mountain Golf Course is at the end of our block! There are a wide variety of golf courses all over the area and surrounding neighborhoods, too.

Since we're in the valley of so many beautiful mountains, there are a plethora of trails to take advantage of. Some are in walking distance of the house and others are a short drive, but definitely bring lots of water! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking.

Getting Around

It is very easy to drive anywhere while you're visiting. Some places are reachable by foot if you're up for it. If you're not driving, Uber is available in Palm Desert and all of the surrounding areas you might want to visit and it is very affordable to get around this way.

Month in the desert

Our stay at the property was fabulous! It is walking distance to the desirable El Paseo shops and restaurants. The home was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we desired. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. The owners were very responsive to our questions and made the check in and check out process extremely easy! We visit Palm Desert regularly and I would not hesitate in renting this home again in the future.

Ready to go back

Loved this house. The pictures are accurate, the backyard is large and private. The neighborhood is quiet. It is a flat one mile walk to El Paseo and three different grocery stores. The house is well stocked. Really a lovely experience staying there.

Perfect Location, Perfect House!

We had a great stay at this house. The yard is big and very private. Pool and hot tub were really fun. At night the yard is really nicely lit up and had a good BBQ followed by a game of pool! Fully equipped kitchen that had everything my husband, a chef, needed. The bedrooms were good and beds very comfortable. We had a walk down to El Paseo for some shopping and lunch. We loved it and will be back.

Absolutely Fantastic Stay!

It's impossible to say enough about Philip's place and how fantastic of a host he is. Our month long stay was absolutely perfect. The home looked just as it did in the photos (actually, the stunning back yard is much larger than the photos portrayed), and the house was perfectly clean. The neighbourhood was just lovely - El Paseo was a true ten minute walk, and the streets surrounding the home were quiet and beautiful.It's beautifully decorated, has truly everything you need extras, and is intuitively laid out - anything we discovered we needed (extra sheets, specific cookware, outdoor dishes), were all there waiting for us. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had everything we needed. The home was also very well stocked with general household supplies - I don't think we ran out of a single household item while there.And that YARD! It's massive! The pool was an absolute delight, as was the hot tub. There's a lovely lemon tree and pool table, multiple seating areas and just so much more.Philip gave us detailed instructions on how to enter the house and made sure to check in on us to ensure we were doing well. He was responsive and kind when when we had questions.Our stay was 10/10, and we're already thinking about returning next year! We really can't say enough about how fantastic our trip was.Thank you, Philip!

Palm desert getaway

Great location and very clean! It’s a bit smaller than I thought but perfect for a couple and our dog, Lucy. The Civic Park is lovely so we walked Lucy every morning. House is less than 5 minutes from El Paseo shopping and great restaurants. Good proximity to lots of activities. Pool on the property was heated and taken care of. Loved Palm Desert and plan to return.

Great Palm Desert spot

Great location in Palm Desert. Close to El Paseo and surrounding activities, golf, etc. Property manager very responsive and helpful. Actual house is on smaller side but very clean, updated and functional. Lovely yard and pool/hot tub that was all well kept and working well. Place was absolutely perfect for my family of 5 and 2 small fury friends for a 6 week stay. Exceptional value. 100% would go back!

The property is a great treat! Backyard is a little oasis from the outside world. Jacuzzi, pool, pool table, comfortable seating everywhere... The kitchen has everything you need to make a grand meal or late night snack. Location is the best - walking distance to El Paseo and Living Desert. Philip, the Owner has thought of all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.

Great Stay In The Desert

Perfect Vacation in the Sun

This was the perfect girls getaway location for myself and four adult daughters. Philip was prompt and super nice to work with, and the house was immaculate and well supplied. The updated kitchen is nicely appointed, the beds comfortable, ample towels for bathrooms and the pool, and great products in the bathrooms. The furniture is very comfortable and attractive. Location is in a quiet neighborhood... nice for walks or bike riding. Terrific pool and hot tub. I would definitely return to this home. We had a lovely time.

Great location in Palm Desert

The house worked out perfectly for our small family (1 toddler and dog). We enjoyed the yard and pool as well as the space the home offered. We also found the place to be conveniently located to downtown Palm Desert for shopping and restaurants. Plenty of extra towels and laundry machines made the place feel like home. We would stay again!

Beautiful oasis in Palm Destert

What a lovely vacation home! We had the luxury of staying here for three weeks this winter. It is clean, bright, and newly renovated. The decor is bright and happy, the sheets are crisp cotton, the kitchen well appointed, great sound system, internet TV, etc. Nothing left to want! The yard is private, with lawn, pool, hot tub, pool table, lounge chairs, dining, and fantastic grill! The yard landscaping is wonderful, we saw and heard many species of migrating birds right along the flowering hedge. The pool and lounging area was so pleasant, we spent most of time just hanging out in the back yard. The neighborhood is very walkable, and is very conveniently located to restaurants and shopping, including the fabulous El Paseo. There are endless hikes and nature trails in the foothills accessible from trailheads nearby. People of Palm Desert area are so friendly, we loved stopping to chat with people, and got lots of good recommendations for places to see and go. I think his fabulous Luxury Retreat will be our home away from home every winter! Thank you for making your special home available to us!

Awesome House, location and amenities!!

Came here for a family vacation this location and home exceeded our expectations. Philip was excellent in responding to all our questions and gave us great suggestions while visiting Palm Desert. The house was very clean and well kept. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
